The hosts upgraded us from a room to an apartment—it was a complimentary upgrade which allowed us to prepare our own breakfast and dinner with food from nearby markets. They gave us wonderful advice on day trips from the property and took a genuine interest in our day trips and lives. We will stay here again if we come back to Avignon. If I knew they had a heated swimming pool and hot tub I would have brought a bathing suit.

What a fantastic find! Newly renovated room that was very clean, comfortable and functional. The staff (who are also the owners) were incredibly helpful and friendly, taking the time to show us on the map the best walks in Avignon, their restaurant recommendations and shopping areas. A wonderful location within the City walls and an easy stroll to all the major attractions (Palais des Papes, Pont d’Avignon etc) and less than 20 minutes walk to the station. And yet this is a haven of quiet with its lovely garden and salt water pool to relax in after a day’s sightseeing. Florian and Emmanuelle are wonderful hosts giving excellent advice on things to see and restaurants to visit. No expense has been spared in the well-appointed rooms. We stayed in Zen which overlooked the garden, was spacious and had a well-equipped kitchen.
