overpriced not worth and wont recommend , bathroom tub dirty , floor is old peeling linoleom flooring , walls are paper thin can hear next room conversation, bed makes squeaking sound.woke up by the sound of garbage truck earlt morning , stayed in room 218 never again!
I would not recommend staying here
There was no elevator, and given we were on the 3rd floor, it was difficult for my wife to make the climb. For the price, it would have been nice if they had water in the room. Also, there was no coffee available in the room or lobby, which is fairly standard at every hotel, let alone one as high priced as the Glenmore.
It was a last-minute trip a little too pricey for the room. A very little view of the ocean most of the view was towards the mountain. The location was on the fourth floor lots of stairs I have nothing to say about the continental breakfast since there was none. The room was very spacious and clean, friendly service an OK experience.
I didn’t like the miss leading photos of the room views and also photos of a large marble and glass shower doors in the bathroom of the room I thought I booked, then finding just a regular metal bathtub with a plastic curtain. Also the view out my window was terrible, ashphalt rooftop and power pole, power lines, no view of the water at all like in the photos. For over $400 a night, i was a little disappointed. The place was very clean and the staff was very friendly, location was perfect for walking Avalon.
Friendly, welcoming staff and great and quiet location!
Very good customer service and friendly. Very nice room with ocean view.
We had a great experience. Staff was very friendly!
Fantastic stay. Very friendly, very assertive to any needs. Balcony was huge . Money well spent!
Nice historic building but couldnt take a hot shower until 8am... Ruined my stay
The free continental breakfast is a joke. What they serve is cold hard boiled eggs juice and water along with other little snacks. Don't waste your money here like i did.
The property needs updating. I heard that some rooms were renovated but not the one we stayed in. Queen size beds are not queen but full size. Good place to crash for a night or two but not hang out in room.
Historic Charm with an excellent location. Super friendly staff.
For the price I expect a decent stay, wasn’t able to get rest till 4am since it was so loud at night, tried to get a hold of front desk and no one answered ever, bad internet service, and windows didn’t lock so I didn’t feel safe at night time. And when I went to complain they just said hurry up and get out because next guest where coming soon
Friendly staffs. Our room was 101 in the first floor. It was modern & clean - equipped with refrigerator, Samsung smart Tv, and small desk. Bed was comfortable. Quiet AC. Location is perfect - walking distance to everything.
No elevator Toilet had issues flushing sometimes, we fixed it with poring water down it.

I apologize for the absence of an elevator. We are working on putting the elevator in this winter. However , we have rooms on the first floor. We have complimentary bottles of water available at the front desk ,along with ice , and beach towels. We removed the coffee makers in the rooms due to Covid. thank you for staying with us , and we apprecate your feedback.

Hello Roberto . I apologize for the issues you described. We would of been happy to have sent the maids back in the room to clean the tub more thoroughly if you would of let us know. The maids are excellent , and you can see this by other reviews as to how clean the hotel is on a daily basis. The bed is brand new . I will check on the squeaking problem. The garbage truck is usually there between 8:30 and 9 .I'm sorry you were awoken by their activity.
