Excellent for family and friends!

We had a wonderful trip, the kitchen is fully stocked with tons of kitchen tools, 2 slow cookers, etc! Cooking basics were available, soaps, dishwasher pods etc! The rooms were great! The playroom was amazing for all the kids! We had a wonderful time and will be back!

Lovely, secluded home

We were a group of 9 girls visiting in the winter for a secluded getaway. We wanted to rest and relax after the holidays. The house was very large and accommodated our entire party comfortably. Notably, the house is not your typical bare bones vacation property. For example, the beds were comfortable and had real pillows. It is clearly used by the owners and well-loved. We hired chefs for all of our meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this property for large groups and families. I hope to come back with my family in the summer, because it would be a perfect vacation spot for a large family (or multiple families) with kids of all ages. Check in and check out were easy peasy. The property is absolutely beautiful.

Absolutely Gorgeous Stay

I stayed here with a bunch of 30 something women for a quiet bachelorette. The fall foliage was jaw-dropping. The house was immaculate. It has many places to have quiet conversation, but also large, open spaces for a crowd. I can’t recommend this place enough!

80th birthday getaway with family, fall season

We had 13 people and 2dogs stay at this beautiful home. Kitchen fully equipped and accommodating. Beds were clean and very comfortable. The house was very comfortable and great for everyone to enjoy

The photos do not do this property justice! It is an amazing home, beautifully kept, huge property yet so cozy. The kitchen was impressive and fully stocked. We had a great time thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home!

Beautiful Home, Great Experience

My family's stay at Sunny Pond was such a wonderful experience. When we entered the house we were impressed by the beautiful furnishings, appointments and supreme cleanliness. The house is large and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. There was a severe rain and wind storm that knocked out the power in the town. The owner was on top of the situation and very easy to communicate with. We are looking forward to our next stay at this magnificent home.

Best rental property EVER!

We have done a lot of rental properties for many years in the US and abroad, we walked in and were totally blown away! Pictures of property were beautiful but did not reflect how absolutely amazing the house and grounds are. The spaces are even more generous in person than in the pictures (usually the opposite in home listings!). The house is spotless and so tastefully decorated and equipped. Best kitchen I think I have ever worked in, and we cook pretty enthusiastically. I walked in and said that this is the best rental house I have ever seen, and my wife said it may be the best house she has ever seen! Randi, you are simply amazing as well. Thanks for all (and the baked goods, chocolates, bottle of wine and all on arrival).

Beautiful house for the family in the Berkshires

This was our second stay at Sunny Pond. Our family had a fabulous time. The house is magnificent! Outside there is a large pond with a paddle boat, an island with a fire pit (great for smores!), and lots of rafts, as well as a playground. Indoors, the kids loved the playroom downstairs and ping pong area upstairs. The dining area can accommodate a large group. There are numerous seating areas. The bedrooms are divided among two main areas of the house. It is a wonderful setting for a family to enjoy time in the Berkshires. Tanglewood is about 20 minutes away. The host is very responsive to any requests. We hope to return to Sunny Pond next summer.

Family Birthday Celebration

Run don't walk to Sunny Pond!!! The photos of Sunny Pond online are perfect and accurate, however driving onto the property and seeing the pond and house for the first time is breathtaking. There is a peace and serenity surrounding you as well as the beauty of the property. There were 10 of us and there was plenty of room. The kitchen is a dream and very well equipped from utensils, cutting boards, knives, glassware, dinnerware, platters, bowls , etc. You name it and it's there for your use. The gym is so well equipped and the children's play area would be any child's dream. Let's not forget the pool table on the third floor!! Outdoor seating in both front and back of house is lovey and comfortable. The pond is beautiful as well as the island with a fire pit where we were able to toast marshmallows. We will be back!!!!

Great Vacation in the Berkshires

This house is a great house for a vacation. The owner and the house manager could not have been any nicer to deal with. The house was beautiful, clean and had everything a family needed for any age group. There was a swing set for our grandchildren, a play room and a game room for them. The adults had great rooms to relax, cook and the outside had a pond, and a breath taking environment to enjoy the outside. If your family is looking for a wonderful place to enjoy their vacation, this is the place for you.

Annual family reunion

For many years we have have stayed at Sunny Pond. Each summer when we come back there is always something new in this beautiful, spacious home. We highly recommend staying here whether its for a long weekend or a week you will not be disappointed. Great bedrooms and baths along with a huge kitchen stocked with any utensil you’ll need. We’ll be back next year !

Magical Stay!

Our three families (6 adults, 10 kids under 12) stayed at Sunny Pond for a week. The house is enormous and there was plenty of room for us to be together in the fully-stocked kitchen, and space for us to spread out for the kids to watch movies while the grownups watched the sunset with cocktails on the porch. The owner was very helpful and responsive to questions, and it felt like we were staying in a friend's home. We would love to come back next summer!

Family get away

This home is stunning in every way. Everywhere you look is beautiful. Whether the kids were all cozy together on the couch , fishing ( all the fish were thrown back in ) running around the playground or jumping in the lake, they had the best time!! Adults did too! S’mores was a big hit!! Sitting around the table just enjoying each other was special too! We had a big storm our last night and lost power. The care taker Chris came over and set up the generator for us!!! He couldn’t have been any nicer!!! Our host and hostess were always a phone call away !! This is our second time visiting this house! Perfect Getaway in the Berkshires

Sunny Pond was an incredible place to spend July 4 with the entire family. The house easily accommodated all the guests (8 adults and 6 kids). It was spacious and comfortable, but also felt very communal. The weather wasn't great, but we used the pond on the few occasions when it cleared up, and the house had many things to do inside (board games, books, gym, etc.). The family was very appreciative of having such an amazing place to stay - they said it was the best house we've rented throughout our annual July 4 trips over the years. Randi was a great host and provided excellent instructions and points of interest during our stay. Would highly recommend Sunny Pond to anyone looking for a relaxed getaway in the Berkshires.

Great place for a family getaway

House was immaculate and very gracious. We were three families with adult children and spouses, there was plenty of room for everyone The description of the sleeping arrangements was a little confusing. There’s a main house with four bedrooms, three very comfortable for couples, one best for a single adult. Then, there’s a second wing over the garage that had three comfortable bedrooms for couples. In addition there was an optional guest house with two more bedrooms. All very nice and comfortable. Randi was a great host, very accommodating. Highly recommended!

Stunning House and Property

The pictures don't do this house and the property justice. This place is wonderful. It feels like you're right at home but also on a luxury vacation. We loved floating in the (very large) pond. We were 12 friends spending a weekend together and everyone was blown away. Can't wait to come back with our kids someday!

Amazing Stay at Sunny Pond!

This was our second weekend stay at Sunny Pond for a group of friends (late 30s adults with children all 1 - 10 years of age). We had a terrific experience - it is an incredible property - private, beautiful, amazing pond, great playground for kids, firepit, etc. The house itself is huge and lovely with plenty of space for a large group to spread out and come together. The enormous kitchen has everything you would need to cook with. Randi (the host) has incredible communication and left great welcome gifts for us. We can't wait for our trip to Sunny Pond next year!

Perfect

We spent the weekend celebrating my fathers 75th birthday. The house accommodated everyone very comfortably. Everyone had their own rooms, plenty of space. Children loved the play room and ms Pac-Man and ping pong. Kitchen was fully stocked and ready to entertain a large crowd. Appliances were easy to use and two dishwashers was very helpful. Property was beautiful and we hope to come back for a summer vacation!!

Five Stars Plus!

We had the most wonderful long weekend at Sunny Pond! We were a large family group and the house and property offered something for everyone. The grounds are magnificent and the home beautifully decorated. It is immaculate with many different rooms that flow throughout. The kitchen is huge and gorgeous. (The playroom and game room were a big hit with the kids) The pictures do not do the property and home justice. Thank you Randi. We can't wait to return to Sunny Pond!

This was our 3rd stay at Sunny Pond and it did not disappoint! Between the lovely kitchen, multiple loungy gathering spots and close proximity to Great Barrington, you cannot go wrong staying in this house. Homeowner is very easy to deal with and very accommodating. I have no doubt we will be back next year!

AMAZING Home in Berkshires!!

Two families (four adults, 5 children) spent the 4-day Thanksgiving holiday weekend at Randi's home, and it was perfect! The home itself is enormous, immaculate, with a perfect layout, and all the amazing touches (kitchen stocked, game room and playroom for kids, home gym, working fireplaces and wood, etc.). The property is even more special: breathtaking pond right out back with small private island and fire-pit, set against the afternoon sun and sunset. Even a grill out back with patio that we used as well. Best VRBO we've ever been to, and we can't wait to return.
