Great Hospitality and good food. Special thanks to Subhash Salunke at front desk for all the help and speedy checkout. Very nice rooms. Local dance and song show made our evening even more relaxing. Looking forward to visit again.
The Vivanta was up to our expectations. Excellent location for seeing the Ajanta and Ellora caves plus the 'baby' Taj. Staff in the restaurant were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend that you stay.
Excellent hotel. Please ask the hotel to arrange Mr. Ayaz as the guide for Ajanta and Ellora caves. He is very knowledgeable. The hotel is very nice and the team is very polite and go out of their way to provide service.
All ways love staying at Taj. Best option to stay. The breakfast is really good and has got good variety of food in the menu. The pool is also good, huge and well maintained. Personal recommendation for room would be on first floor.
I had stayed at Taj Aurangabad along with my wife and 3 years old kid during our trip to Ellora and Ajanta caves. The hotel lived upto its name and hospitality. The moment we reached the hotel, I realized that one of the tyres was flat. The guy at the gate offered to change the wheel of my car and also took my car to nearby shop to get it repaired. We stayed here for 3 nights and my daughter was delighted with the swing that was there in the balcony. She was always very thrilled to play with the Christmas tree that was put there. She also had a great time running around the lawn. The room was very cosy and the ambience was great. It had a real feeling of luxury. The staff was very hospitable. We really liked the breakfast and it had a great assortment of dishes. Our entire stay was really delightful and pleasurable. I would definitely recommend my friends to stay here. We had an awesome experience and couldn't ask for more. Regards, Vivek Barnwal
Its a very cozy & calm place away from the main city. Not many visitors come to this property so if you want to enjoy a good week end chilling in a pool along with your family and friends at a decent cost. This is the place. Staff is very courteous and ambience is amazing. Very well maintained property. Last thing, Do not go with a prejudice mind that you are going to a Taj property.
extremely poorly maintained Hotel. It felt like I have checked in at a 2star road side motel. Cracked bath broken fixturevers dingy discolored towels bad food which made me sick for 3 days. Overall this property of TAJ HOTELS needs a major renovation and a new face. Its a crime to pay 5star charges for a 2 star hotel
The hotel is a fabulous Oriental Palace, with a large green area, quality on the balcony of the room. A large swimming pool, excellent staff attitude, delicious breakfasts, a varied buffet with a variety of delicious Indian dishes and dishes more traditional for Europe. Very large new room. Comfortable bed and bathroom. The staff found for me chamomile tea, room cleaning several times a day. Tea, coffee every morning several times a day. I highly recommend everyone this hotel. Him not even want to go outside and want to go back again! Also we booking transfer from the airport to the hotel, and transfer to airport with with a visit to a local shopping Mall where we bought local produce. The driver waited for us 2 hours and then drove us to the airport. In the evening at the hotel we saw an Indian traditional dance. It was very beautiful.
We stayed for 3 nights, and used the hotel as a base for visiting the Ellora Caves, and sightseeing around Aurangabad. We loved the hotel. The mostly young staff were obliging and cheery. Our room was spacious and had a large balcony which overlooked the lovely gardens. We used the large pool after a hot and dusty day, just what was needed to cool off. Breakfast and evening meals were consistently good, and plentiful. We would happily stay there again.
We’d booked a couple of days’ stay at Taj as for my 50th Birthday, I’d wanted to see the Ajanta and Ellora Caves. We regretted not having booked for one more day. We had such a wonderful time, but it became a bit hectic with little time to spare for enjoying the hotel. It’s such a charming property, with spacious rooms, and a lovely pool. Though Taj hospitality can always be relied upon, knowing we were there for my birthday, they made it extra special for us. My sisters had asked Mr. Suresh Varma , The Foods and Beverages Manager, to organise a surprise dinner for two. It as organised par excellence! We had a 21 course tasty meal, set amidst the sprawling lawns, with the sound of music and flowing water adding to the entire experience! It’s a memory we’ll always cherish. We’d taken the package deal which included the sight seeing , and that’s the best thing we could have done. It was so very comfortable. Our driver, Vijay , was knowledgeable about the local history and courteous. We’d also asked them to pack us a picnic lunch, and that really came in handy, as we were really tired after the sight seeing, and in no mood to go to a restaurant and the extra time that would have taken. The service in the restaurant is also superb. We’d not even consider staying anywhere else, the next time we go to Aurangabad.
