Aurangabad is close to the famous Ajanta and Ellora caves that date back two thousand years. There are other historical places worth visiting - the Daulatabad Fort, Aurangabad Caves, Bibi ka Makbara, etc. A visit to the city is a must for all interested in the rich heritage of India. And while visiting these places, Taj Vivanta is the best place to stay - relaxing with exceptional quality of service.
Checked in on August 10 this month in this hotel. A big open space with well maintained gardens and swimming pool. The students of IHM Aurangabad do their internship here. They are well mannered and responsible, eager to assist guest at any time. Overall a wonderful experience.
I stayed at Vivanta by Taj for a week in Aurangabad. The stay was very comfortable and the staff were very warm and welcoming. Food was delicious. I appreciate their eco friendly initiatives. Evenings cultural shows were a good entertainment.
Hotel is excellent in all aspect. Appearance, infrastructure, rooms, food, hospitality and other amenities.. Excellent and lovely experience. Even here you get all kind of Indian as well as intercontinental food.. and really delicious.
One of the best experiences of stay in the property with great staff, good food quality and well maintained property. Its is a complete value for money experience for both business as well as leisure travel with completely resort type experience.
Everything was excellent and above expectation. it was so cozy and comfortable that i didn't want to step out in the city crowd. It worth going and staying if you want to relax and rejuvenate. Then this is the hotel i would recommend.
I have certain expectations when I book into Taj, particularly one touting itself as a 5 star resort. This Taj didn't not measure up. The property is old. Arriving late on my first night, I was greeted with a musty-smelling room and bug infested mattress. To the credit of Yogesh on reception the next morning, I was promptly offered a new room. The rest of the stay proceeded ok but little things reminded me that I was not in a 5 star resort. The breakfast buffet was uninspiring, soggy dosas are not my thing. Room service was inept. Dressing on the side does not mean put dressing on the salad. And when I call to have it fixed, it does not mean bring me more dressing. The final straw was reception's attempt to overcharge me by 13000 rupees. With no apology when I correct the erroneous bill. Aurangabad is the gateway to Ajanta and Ellora caves, which I highly recommend visiting. But unlike the caves, Taj Aurangabad has had it's day.
the taj had everything in service that its name stands for. right from a quick reception, to room service to house keeping, all was perfect. we took a room on third floor which had a relaxing view of the pool and lawns. there were no mosquitos inspite of this being monsoon. the spa service was perfect, Sanjita was very accommodating and the small thing had a lot of power. we enjoyed some shopping in the boutique, a unique collection of semi precious stones. we even got a surprise send of in the form of delicious pastries. and housekeeping made some towel origami and decorated our room with flowers and balloons. the breakfast chef specially made eggs Benedict inspite of it not being on the menu. a very satisfying stay.
We had a premium room for which we were charged premium rates but the room didnt feel any different from the regular room I stayed in at the Vivanta by Taj, Pune. Apart from this disappointment, the hotel was very nice. We hosted an event at the ballroom and we were extended some very good support by the team at the Taj. The property is very green! The view from the room is very easy on the eye. The food too was quite good. I didnt get a chance to have breakfast in the hotel, but my dad told me that it was quite good. The dinner that was served during our event was very tasty, especially the mutton dish. Full credit to Mr Deepak who coordinated with my colleague regarding the event.
Driving through busy, busy streets then through the gates to the Taj is welcoming, it is like you have arrived at a spa, tucked away from the rat race of normality. Although the hotel is older, it it beautiful and well maintained. The forer is spacious and inviting and the team to welcome you are lovely. It has spacious well appointed rooms with a lovely outlook, mine over the grounds below looking further to the garden. The balcony swings are a lovely touch. The lights at night on the trees create a fabulous effect. Meals in the restaurant were very good, with service that is almost over the top, however understood they were doing their job and that was the requirement, it is just very different to what I would consider norm. Enjoyed my choices from the menu. The Loved the bed, very comfortable with comfortable pillows to match. I tried out the spa and can recommend the massages, it was very pieceful and relaxing, so much so I asked for another one! And left relaxed and revived. A great place to stay.
