Nice place to stay. We stayed 10 days and used the hotel as a base to travel to Augusta, Sydney, Portland, Freeport and Bar Harbor. Very central to a lot of places in that area of Maine.

Hotel and staff were very good. My issue was the lack of restaurants nearby. If you like hamburgers or tacos you were in luck. Otherwise you would have to travel to the other end of town or to the next city 20 miles away

I was NOT allowed to stay because my drivers license indicated I was a local... I had sold my property and needed to spend one more night in the area! I was left STRANDED!! I was NOT informed ahead of time! Needless to say this created a potential disaster as I was already overtired.. had to drive to another tiwn 30 minutes away!
