Made a special trip down to Augusta with a friend to play some disc golf. The people at the front desk were extremely friendly and that means a lot when traveling. Outside of that, the stay was pretty poor. I made sure to park my car under the lights for those nights. Outside of a few cobwebs, the room was decent. The window unit was extremely loud as well as the toilet. On another note, I will never understand why people wait until after 10PM to stand outside of other peoples rooms to talk loud and argue. The neighborhood left much to be desired.
For less than $60 a night, you get what you paid for. Had to go to the grocery store to get air freshener because the room smelled like a port o potty. The carpeting that they have lining the bottom of the walls isn't even properly attached, it just hangs off. The bedding is subpar at best, we had to grab the blanket off of the second bed to stay warm with the heat running. On the plus side, the cable has hbo.
This Travelodge doesn't leave me with much positive to say. Upon the maid changing the sheets, there was a dead fly at the bottom between the top and fitted sheet. The bath tub was dirty. While walking the dog, I discovered alot of broken glass and trash at the back of hotel. All these issues are avoidable and had they been tended to would have made our stay enjoyable.
Cobwebs in corners of room. Could not get connected to internet. "Breakfast" was some stale muffins, orange juice, apple juice, and coffee. Vehicle was vandalized, not broken into, just vandalized with no apologies, or offers of assist or recompense from management. He didn't bill us for late checkout, though.
I don't see myself coming back. Check in staff was very awkward and looked at me with a disgust look. Bathroom had stains and blankets had holes in them
Friendly reception. Breakfast area small, untidy, two tables in reception area. Didn't think it would have been a good idea to have breakfast there. Old motel quite rundown. Motels under Travelodge badge seem to vary greatly.
It took 15 minutes to get checked in at the front desk and I was the only customer. The woman behind the desk stopped to take a personal cell phone call while checking me in, which added to the delay. Even without the personal phone call, it still took 10+ minutes to check me in, which is ridiculous. The overall appearance of the property was that of a run-down trailer park. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but I will never stay here again nor would I recommend it. There are multiple hotels in the vicinity that are much nicer.
Average twin beds, small 24" tv, narrow room, no wake-up or frnt desk access on phone. Location was good for Masters but not worth price.
First thing - surprise pet fee $15 per dog per night. Very bad smelling room. Poor security, dirty bathroom, towels like sandpaper, bad area for pets, lots of glass. Took some time to get receipt. Bad.
Very bad experience he doesn't even give me receipt for my stay just swiped my card and give me keys. Not friendly at all. Also room is smelling and someone walking outside you can hear them they talking you hear them too
