This gorgeous beach side, private batch-style home is situated only a 40-minute drive from Auckland city or a 30-minute drive from Auckland Airport.

This home is perfect for a group of friends or a family wanting a break from the city life. The area is full of fun activities including a surf school, horse riding, mountain biking, a golf course, bush walks, a gannet colony, kitesurfing, a cafe and not to mention one of the most stunning beaches on the West Coast.
The space
This 2-story open-plan home includes 2 sunny decks and comfortably sleeps 6.

The top floor includes a deck that wraps around the house with 180 degree views of the coast, a fully equipped kitchen (any entertainers’ delight) and an open-plan lounge/dining room with doors that can all open up onto the deck. There is also a toilet, outdoor lounging and a charcoal BBQ.

Downstairs, you will find 3 bedrooms, all with queen/king beds. 2 of the bedrooms open up onto the large downstairs deck with an outdoor dining table and chairs. You’ll also find a second toilet as well as a bathroom with a shower and bath.

Off the downstairs deck, you'll find an outdoor shower after a long day at the beach. Off the deck, there is a light-up staircase that will take you on a 3-minute walk through lush New Zealand bush all the way down to the beachfront.
Other things to note
The house includes bedding and bath towels, but please bring your own beach towels. The kitchen is equipped with culinary basics, tea and coffee.

The closest supermarket is a short 20-minute drive in Waimauku and we recommend stopping in on the way so once you arrive, you can fully set yourself up in holiday mode. There is limited parking for one vehicle down the long shared driveway so we would recommend parking on the street
