Perched above the long white arc of Onetangi Beach, The Point is a light-filled coastal retreat with sweeping sea views, generous indoor–outdoor living, and relaxed, welcoming spaces made for slow mornings, beach days, and long evenings with the people who matter most.



The Space:

The Point by Stay Waiheke is designed around sunshine, views, and easy living. The main level opens into a bright, open-plan living area with large windows pulling the ocean into the room. A chef’s kitchen anchors the space, complete with quality appliances, great bench space, and a dining table with room for everyone to gather. The lounge features comfortable seating, a gas fire for cooler nights, and SKY Sports/Movies plus Netflix for unwinding after a full day at the beach.



Large glass doors open the home to wide decking, an entertaining area, flat lawn, and a private six-seater spa pool — all positioned to make the most of those big northern views.



Three bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a laundry sit on this main level. Upstairs, the master suite feels tucked away and calm, with its own ensuite and private deck that looks directly over Onetangi Bay.



A private track leads down to Onetangi Beach with its 2.5 kilometres of soft white sand, swimming, and three great seaside restaurants.

The Neighborhood:

The Point sits just above Onetangi Beach, one of Waiheke’s most loved stretches of sand, with long walks, safe swimming, and relaxed seaside dining. A few minutes’ drive brings you to some of the island’s top wineries, tasting rooms, and cellar doors.

Getting Around:

Regular buses run between Onetangi, the main villages, and the passenger ferry at Matiatia. Routes 50A and 50B operate throughout the day, stopping at key beaches and wineries.



Buses from Onetangi continue on to all major wineries, The Heke, Oneroa Village, and the passenger ferry terminal.



Taxi and rideshare options are available, though can be limited at peak times. There is easy parking at the property.

Spa pool rules apply — children must be supervised at all times.



Minimum stays: 7 nights mid-December to mid-January, 3 nights rest of January & all holiday weekends, 2 nights all other times.
