Minutes from the buzz of Oneroa village and with great views out over the Hauraki Gulf, Tipaka Moana Cottage is a lovingly renovated, character house ideally situated for you to enjoy the delights of island living.

The cottage has a newly renovated open plan kitchen, dining and living room, with a heat pump to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer. This opens onto a sunny courtyard at the back and a deck at the front with views over the Hauraki Gulf. The most difficult decision of the day will be which area to settle into with a book to relax!

The 3 double bedrooms open off the living area. The master bedroom has lovely views out to sea, and an ensuite. The second bedroom opens onto the sunny courtyard. There is a further family bathroom and laundry.

Located a minutes drive from Oneroa Village and Beach, or 15 minutes walk, this is the perfect spot from which to explore the island! With a bus stop along the road, you don't even need to hire a car - you are a 10 minute bus ride from Matiatia Ferry terminal and the many wineries that Waiheke offers!

Freshly laundered bed linen and towels are provided and there is a well equipped laundry available for use in the cottage.

Note: the property is not to be used for any parties or gatherings.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, an electric kettle, and an ironing board.

Great spot for a short stay

Nice renovation and tidy and comfy, had everything we needed. I was surprised by the traffic street noise , but it is close to the main road so I should have guessed! Good access to Oneroa and Surfdale shops though.

Spacious and well located

Ideal for a family as well as a small dog. Very comfortable with beautiful views from a bay window in the living area and the window in the main bedroom. The kitchen was fully equipped. A short drive to stores, cafes, passenger and car ferry terminals. The manager was lovely. We will happily return.

Overall impression was very good & we had a great time. Just a few minor things that would make it better: No wardrobe/clothe storage space Not enough wine glasses No bins in the kitchen or bathrooms, despite a sign telling you what items cannot be put down the toilet.
