Older facility and laid out like an old school hotel, but it had been recently renovated. The room was clean, property was well kept and conveniently located. It was very basic and met my needs. I would stay here again.

Shortly after checking in and entering our room, a small cockroach scurried across the bottom of the frame around the bathroom mirror. The room also had a faint urine smell on one side of the bed with the nightstand askew like an attempt to clean the smell was made. The power went out randomly around 330am and stayed off for about a half hour. The breakfast consisted of premade frozen then microwaved egg patties and other equally as gross looking frozen foods. All accompanied by a very loud and boisterous “waitress” fishing for tips and trying to “help” where help wasn’t needed. If we wanted a loud breakfast with a waitress we’d go to a restaurant. Not what you’re hoping to experience waking up first thing after a terrible night of sleep when you just want to have your coffee in quiet. The checkout staff didn’t even bother asking how the stay was upon check out or I would have informed them of the above listed issues then. Overall, I would not recommend. I’ll pay the extra $20 next time and stay at the La Quinta or Holiday Inn.

When we arrived to the hotel, the front desk employee was very friendly and helpful, and as we asked for a vending machine to get bottled water, he offered us bottled water. The problems started when we enter our bedroom. It was musty and immediately I developed allergies. We tried turning on the TV and it wouldn't work. We tried the internet, and it wasn't working. We went to the front office, and the new employee told us that internet had just gone down and he called their IT person and would be fixed within an hour (it was around 9:30 pm). He came to our bedroom to check the TV, and he was unable to make it work. He said there was nothing he could do because there were no more tv's available as they were full, and that this was a new tv (unfortunately, it was not, you could see the dust caked in the back of the tv). He took my husband's ipad for about 45 minutes to try to get internet on it. In the mean time, I went to use the bathroom, and there was hair (from shaving) in the bathtub and all over the floor behind the door. Needless to say, I went to the front office, again, to tell him the bathroom was dirty, and to collect our ipad, which he was unable to provide internet for. He filmed the hair and apologized and said he was going to let the manager know. The next morning, when we went to breakfast, the first bite to my egg, it had a hair on it. Not a good experience. Never heard from a manager.

The lady helping at the breakfast is perfect for that job! She was very helpful, joyful, and great at making waffles! The finishings were ok for an older hotel and it was clean. We didn't like the musty smell and feel.

The door was not closed all the way when we arrived, we only had to push it open. Realised three other times that the door was not properly closing. Seems to be an issue with the lock not going in the hole to secure the door to a locked position, unless forcing in myself. Secondly, something bit me on my back around 4:30am which woke me up with a burning and itching sensation. It is very wept up, red around the area with a dark center today. If no better by tomorrow, I may have to go to the doctor cause it looks like a possible spider bite.
