Northwinds Adventures - Nueva cabaña rústica de los leucomas

Sentado en la propiedad de Northwinds Adventures, un campamento durante todo el año, esta nueva cabaña "Walleye" está disponible AHORA.  En el interior, cuenta con 2 dormitorios; uno con una cama doble (ropa de cama incluida) y otra con una litera doble superior y un futón completo (sábanas bajo petición y con una tarifa de $ 10).  Para el espacio adicional para dormir, hay un sofá cama en la sala de estar (sábanas proporcionadas bajo petición por una tarifa de $ 10) o espacio para una cuna. Pisos de madera de roble blanco en toda la cabina, el baño es de baldosas con una ducha standup. Una estufa de leña está disponible para tomar el frío en las estaciones más frías, leña proporcionada por $ 5 / paquete.  La cocina está llena con todo lo necesario para preparar una gran comida después de un día al aire libre.

La cabaña está escondido en una arboleda de álamos a unos 100 metros de nuestro propio lago de amor privado.  Hay una cubierta para descansar y un pozo de fuego en el patio.  También hay una parrilla de carbón; Pero el carbón no se proporciona.

Siéntase libre de caminar los senderos alrededor de nuestras 220 hectáreas, paddle una canoa o kayak en nuestro lago, o pasar tiempo en nuestra playa privada.  

El lago del amor es un acre 10, primaveral alimentó el lago privado y hay un montón de oportunidades de pescar de la orilla.  Para proteger a nuestra población de truchas de arroyo y walleyes nativos le pedimos que use sólo señuelos artificiales sin barricas y gentilmente liberar a todos nuestros amigos con aletas en el lago para luchar otro día!

Tenga en cuenta que durante junio, julio y agosto acogeremos el programa Campamento de Keweenaw Camp Luther y en ocasiones nuestra zona de playa / playa está reservada para su uso.  Tendremos letreros y le informaremos del horario de playa a su llegada.  Los grupos de base de Keweenaw llegan el domingo por la noche y salen el viernes por la mañana para que la playa esté disponible la mayoría de los fines de semana.  Durante la semana, a menudo pasan tiempo fuera de la propiedad por lo que la playa estará abierta a veces durante la semana también.

Si usted está llegando a ATV o moto de nieve, le pedimos que no montar las máquinas en la propiedad.  Sin embargo, puede conducirlos directamente desde la propiedad hasta el sendero, un viaje corto y legal en las carreteras hacia el sendero Bill Nichols ubicado a aproximadamente 3 millas de distancia. * Debido a 2019 Flood Bill Nicholas Trail está cerrado y está a 5 millas del sendero 3.

Just as advertised

Perfect cabin, close enough to Houghton but far enough to enjoy the serene, beautiful area. Cabin was clean and well stocked. Enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely stay

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Only a short drive from Houghton, the cabin was a great location to call home for a few days. There are kayaks available to rent for an additional fee. I would highly recommend.

Another lovely vacation

This was our third stay in the cabins in Atlantic Mine. They have truly become our home-away-from-home for our visits to our son, a student at Michigan Tech. The cabins a very clean and comfortable.

Winter Wonderland

We visited our son for Winter Carnival and found this gem of a cabin. The owners are very kind and accommodating for everything we asked for. The fireplace and furniture were so cozy! Highly recommend any of their cabins!!!

Lovely cabin stay

My husband and I found this cabin near Houghton so we could spend a weekend with our son, who is a student at Michigan Tech. The cabin was spacious, with attractive, sturdy furniture and cabinetry. We had plenty of space to spread out, and the scenery was just gorgeous.

Cozy Cabin

Getaway- Nature and Close to Town

Well-maintained property that is away from everything with plenty of nature to enjoy. It’s just a quick ride to Houghton. You get the best of both worlds. Would definitely stay here again.

May fishing trip

Nice cabin for 4 guys on a spring fishing trip. Bunk beds are a little small. Kitchen/ living room is spacious and comfortable. Quiet wooded location. Would definitely stay here on a return trip.

All around great experience

The location, cabin and environment were very peaceful. The property managers were prompt responding to any questions and were helpful. The cabin was clean and set up nicely. My boys had a blast in the lake kayaking and fishing (they were catching nice walleye). Couldn't recommend enough.

Fun private property

What a great place this is! So much to do on the property alone. We were not expecting that. Our teens loved fishing and swimming in the lake. We were able to cookout. And everyone slept comfortably in the cabin. Everything was very clean. The communication with the owner was excellent. We would definitely stay here again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just what we hoped for & more

We were visiting our MTU son & wanted a place to relax after outdoor adventures. The walleye cabin was a perfect place for our family of 4 to relax by the fire, work & do homework (good WI-FI), cook, and play games. The cabin was clean, well organized, & the beds & furniture were comfortable. And the view out to the aspens is beautiful. Michelle was easy to work with & accommodating when we needed to alter our plans. We would recommend this cabin & hope to be back one day.

Peace and Quiet

This was our third time visiting the walleye cabin and per usual, it did not disappoint. We always felt right at home. This place is a gem. Even though my cell phone had poor reception (which I am usually happy about), the wifi was strong enough to facilitate calls without hitch. We also appreciate the gifted maple syrup from the hosts. We are planning on returning again!

What a wonderful find! I planned a spur of the moment trip to visit my daughter at Michigan Tech. Five of us stayed very comfortably in the CLEAN cabin. We cooked and ate all of our meals there and had everything we needed—pots, pans, appliances, dishes. The weather was beautiful and we were able to open all of the windows to enjoy the fresh air. The fire pit is a nice size and located very close to the cabin, and firewood chopped and ready for a reasonable price. The host was quick at responding and was very attentive. We look forward to coming back after the lake is melted so we can enjoy some of the fun there. I love the serenity that this property has to offer. We will be back!

Wonderful Views

My family stayed here while visiting my oldest at college. It was very clean and kitchen and family room were very comfortable. The couch was just positioned right to play video games from the couch after dinner. My kids playing games with us. Each morning when we woke up there were between 10-50 turkeys just outside the cabin. We went for a 2 mile hike and saw several deer on our hike. They also had a small apple orchard which we think helps to draw in the wild life. The orchard was nice while to walk through in the early snow fall. The ONLY thing we had concern was with the comfort of two of the beds. They were two hard for us. This was a bummer. This cabin was well worth the expense and the owners communicated with before, during and after our visit.

Hidden Gem

Northwinds Adventures is amazing. We stayed (family of 5, 3 kids ages 13, 11, and 8) in the Walleye cabin. There was plenty of room, the kitchen had all the dishes, pans, and utensils you need. Bathroom was adequate and small bedrooms we didn't spend much time inside. Firepit was nice and spaced privately from other cabins. There is firewood at each cabin for a reasonable price and it is dry, hardwood firewood. The lake is excellent with 2 platforms to jump off of. The cost to use the nice paddleboards, kayaks, and canoes ($15/person for the stay) is a steal! The equipment available is great. We caught a couple walleye and a perch on the lake too. Paying for the watersports equipment and firewood is easy, just venmo the owner at the end of your stay. The location is nice if you want to be just out of town and we strongly recommend heading to breakers for a sunset fire on the black sand beach. Highly recommend Northwinds Adventure as a base camp for your Keweenaw trip.

Cozy Cabin Stay

This is our third time staying at this cabin. It’s perfect for a visit to Houghton. Well equipped. Cozy and warm. Relaxing way to visit our son at Michigan Tech, and have some home cooked meals for him to enjoy! Will stay many more times.

There to visit our MTU Husky.

Son and his Husky friends hung out with us Saturday evening. Perfect amount of space for everyone. The cabin worked out great and we hope to have future stays there.

Great experience

The cabin has a cozy feel without being cramped. We loved the wood fireplace, and our MTU son was able to stay with us one night. We even hosted another small MTU family for lunch before heading to do some hiking! Great location close to the college with the amenities of home!

Perfect property!

We were pleasantly surprised by this property. Its somewhat secluded and very neat and clean. The best part was being able to sit on the deck or in front of the fire pit and have peace and quiet. I highly recommend this property! Its about a 16 minute drive to Michigan Tech, good distance without being too far.
