Positives: The hotel and room were clean and modern. Great location. Negatives: The air conditioning unit was so loud that I had to turn it off and open the window. There was a lot of noise from the property next-door. The mattress and pillows were not comfortable.

The Cove is in an excellent location. It is a very well maintained hotel with old charm. The only improvement I would suggest is a ramp from the street to the entrance and an interior elevator.

Disliked that I was constantly harassed with emails And texts to complete digital registration when I expressed that I would be checking in at front desk. That is an option during certain hours but they discourage it. Rooms were sparse but clean. Enjoyed the porch and coffee in the lobby . Staff was nice and helpful

The beds have no box springs and are super low to the ground. Door had huge gap under neath and along the sides. We didn’t stay. Only 25% of reservation was returned.

The king bed room and bathrroom was renovated and was clean , however it was very tight and small. there”s no chair to sit , i was in my wet clothes from beach. the bed frame was dangerous , i was injured with those sharp edges sticking out, have to pay attention with the small space. you could hear peoples conversation from the hallway and people inside their rooms. Dont bolther using the washer dryer- it was disgusting, nonemployee went their for weeks. dirty 20 empty big tide bottles all over, showers in the back gross they should remove info at the desk about washer and shower. no option to upload photos as proof, not a hotel more of a bed and breakfast wothout the breakfast

Don't waste your money

We reserved a night at the Cove and added trip protection in case we needed to cancel. There was inclement weather and we, unfortunately, needed to cancel. Management refused to refund me my money and offered a pathetic $100 credit for any future reservation.

I did not like being on the 3rd floor with no elevator. It made my stay very difficult as I am 66 years old and have difficulty waking up so many steps. The room was very clean and the bathroom .

Beware of the rooms you book. Our room was supposed to have 2 queen beds in it. Well it ended up being 1 queen bed and a cheap Amazon gold out futon couch as the other bed. The lady at front checking us in was extremely nice and did a great job getting us another set of towels. Every employee was extremely friendly and helpful minus. He just kept saying you’ll have to contact Expedia. I’m assuming he was the manager for a few of the properties as he had a polo shirt with another hotel on it. Also beware if you are on the 2nd or 3rd floor there is no elevator if you have a lot of luggage. Other than that the place was pretty good.

Very relaxing stay for 2 nights

I enjoyed my visit, the place was clean and the pool was nice. Also, the parking lot was great. The room temperature was comfortable- the in hall air conditioner was very good The stairs were carpeted, this way I was able to drag my suitcase up step by step without damaging it. It was helpful there was a in room refrigerator for water and small microwave. Although not a dealbreaker, it would have been beneficial to have a desk for writing and/or working.

We really liked our room and the bathroom was really clean but there was leftover food left in the fridge from the previous renters and trash under the bed. Also, the lobby door handle was broken and completely pulled out from the door. When we got back to the hotel we were locked out and when we called they said nothing could be done and was told it would be fixed tomorrow. Thank God we could go up the fire escape stairs or we would have been forced to sleep in our car or find somewhere else to sleep.
