We were very disappointed in our stay over Easter break. We were NOT informed that there would be major construction on the roof during our stay. The playground area was closed the entire weekday. Two of the days the hot tub was closed due to construction equipment in the area. The workers began at 7:30 in the morning and usually worked until seven at night. I had several grandchildren with me and were awakened to noise. On Friday, the workers began at 7 o’clock with the beeping noise of moving equipment. While having coffee sitting in the the living room I looked up to see a worker in a cherry picker at the sliding door. Access to the beach was quite a feat figuring out which direction to go in. The condo is at the end of the building and by the time you would get to the beach access area you were instructed to cut across to another area. The owner was notified of our disappointment with pictures sent. Her response was it looks like the construction moved onto a different section and how fortunate we were. Also, that she had checked with Management and there should not have been a problem getting on the beach. Maybe she should’ve asked other renters over Soring break their comments. There was plenty of complaints shared on the beach.
