Quality Inn Atlanta Northlake

2.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Picked due to proximity to Northlake mall. Was reasonable. I would recommend staying on front side of the hotel and on the top floor - no exterior entry ways.

This is an average Quality Inn. My biggest complaint is the air in the room must not have been functioning properly because the room felt humid, sticky and wet. Even the carpet had a damp feel. I had to put the air down where it was way too cool to pull out some humidity. On the plus side, the breakfast was good, with good choices; hot items like biscuits and gravy and waffles, and continental items like cereal, yogurt and danish. If I were to visit Atlanta again, this probably would not be my first choice, but for the price, it was okay.

Too noisy near swimming pool to sleep. As we are entering parking several young men that were standing about 15 -20 feet from road but on adjoining property made us feel unsafe and insecure. As we parked in back where room was located...did not like lottering of these people..DH

The room was quite clean. It's difficult for me to give a rating above 3.0 for a hotel where the rooms open to the outside. But, this is a good budget hotel. And, if all you are doing is sleeping, all you really need is a clean, comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. This hotel provides those.

The hotel is recently remodeled. The bathroom is in tiptop shape. The bed mattress is very comfortable and comes with several plush pillows. The bed linen, bed cover, blanket, etc look and feel like they are unwrapped just for me. There is an ample supply of toiletries and clean bath towels. The continental breakfast is warm and tastes as it should be. The hotel employees are nice, polite and effective.

always clean when I'm back i did enjoy the quietness of this hotel. the service was lit and the pool was so relaxing...

My stay was very comfortable. The only problem I ran into was the staff wasn't very hospitable. The staff that was on the older side were very welcoming. The younger staff was rude and couldn't answer many questions. Overall I would stay again.

Can't beat the price. Fairly close to Buckhead, though at rush hour its not very close.

proximity, convenient n walking distance to uscis Atlanta office...

The hotel was clean and welcoming! They allowed us to print documents in lobby, and had a great healthy breakfast with variety. The room was nice and cool upon entrance with a clean smell, sheets and towels. It was a great pitstop for my wife and I.

Great friendly staff. Clean room, best hotel breakfast ever. Would return and tell a friend. Thanks for making my last minute booking a wonderful experience.

I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel and the location especially with booking in the last minute. The staff were very friendly, and the room was very clean. My family and I were even able to stay on the floor of our choice. Although, the room was clean the tub had stains from over the years, and it didn't look appealing. The photos on the hotel website should be updated. The rooms had flat screen tv's instead of the regular televisions that were displayed in the photo's,

I reserved a non-smoking room and it was not booked like that. It was booked as a smoking room and a special request of non-smoking!!!

Clean, staff was friendly, not busy on a Thursday. Had our pet and stayed in first floor room. Didn't stay for breakfast this time, but it is ok. Ver good location for us, close to northlake mall. Had cheap but newer televisions, reception a little fuzzy. Will use them again.

This is a 2 star hotel, so it is a bit run down and the room is a bit small and the air conditioning in my room had trouble keeping up with the hot weather. On the other hand, my room was clean and comfortable, there was a desk and some easily accessed extra power outlets, the staff seemed orderly and responsive and my stay was uneventful and comfortable. The room had complementary wireless and there was a small outdoor pool - neither of which I ended up using, but they also had a complementary breakfast that I did make use of which was actually good (they didn't just have cold cereal and sweet rolls; they also had scrambled eggs and sausage patties).

This hotel was clean with friendly staff and the continental breakfast was pretty good as well. I would stay here again if I'm ever in the area again. Good close distance from the Aquarium, the zoo and Stone Mountain

Room was rated on line as a 4 star, actually according to this email it was only a 2 star. Will never trust your firm again.

Starting with the competent staff and including room cleanliness and functionality, for the price this motel is unbeatable. Easy access to the great amenities in Decatur as well as to the airport.

This isn't the best hotel around. It shows it's age and needs some major TLC. There is paint missing from some of the doors, steps etc. plus they lock up their loby tighter than Ft Knox at night. Still the rooms were clean, and quiet. The breakfast was acceptable. This is an ok hotel for one night. I would not want to stay here for long!

Clean close not a lot of extras and priced right. I will be staying there again.

Dear Guest: We appreciate your response and are sorry that you were not feeling comfortable on the first floor. May we recommend that you consider staying on our third floor, that is on the interior and totally secure during a future trip. Some of our guests prefer the easy to reach exterior rooms and our interior rooms are available at just a lightly higher rate. Sincerely, Mo Hamidani General Manager

Dear Guest: We appreciate your comments. Please know that our hotel was originally built as a Fairfield Inn and therefore the first 2 floors are on the outside but the third floor is on the interior and the rate on the interior is still a very advantageous one.
