My daughter and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on the way back to Tennessee from Jacksonville, Florida. During our trip we also stayed at a Best Western and a Country Inn & Suites, but I must say this Holiday Inn Express was by far the nicest of the three. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the continental breakfast was delicious. In fact, I have stayed at numerous hotels over the years for business and travel and I would rank this particular hotel at the very top! Great job Holiday Inn Express! Thanks for making travel more pleasurable!!
Stayed here several nights for work. It's small for a Holiday Inn Express, which was actually nice - easier room access, friendly and non-frazzled staff. I was impressed with the staff's cheerfulness and professionalism. The room was good sized, super clean, and bed/pillows were comfortable. Only drawback is location - there's a Cracker Barrel across the street but otherwise not a lot nearby, mostly office parks.
We stayed on the 4th floor and our room was nice. The only problem was the AC quit in the middle of the night and wouldn't cool the room. Breakfast was good and included cheese and egg omelet and bacon. This certainly isn't the nicest express we have stayed in the certainly is above average. I appreciate the security they have and the parking lot is well lighted but it makes the room too light for a good nights sleep? Beds are comfortable and the hotel is quiet.
We stayed here Christmas night on our way from Fl to Nashville to see the grandkids. The staff was very friendly, even having to work Christmas. The hotel was very clean and the room was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was the standard Holiday Inn included breakfast. The food was good and the buffet was kept supplied. We will stay here again, a good location near the Interstate on the north side of Atlanta.
We were greeted by Tim, the night clerk, who was cheerful and gracious. We chose our room and were not disappointed. It had a refrig, micro, free coffee in the lobby, and all other amenities which you'd expect. BUT, four pillows on each Q bed with labeled cases: soft and firm. Very nice touch. After a great sleep and adequate breakfast, we saw Tim again, on morning duty this time. We will be back.
I want to bring attention to the Night Manager Michelle!!! She is what you want to think of as customer service oriented. As a rewards member I had book my room with rewards. When to check in she noticed my membership level and made notice of that. When I booked my room on their App it switched me from rewards to paying. She made all the necessary changes even called and talked with customer service so I didn't have to. That attention to detail is not seen anymore. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. They have the same breakfast at every Holiday Inn Express, They kept if full so even though their were a lot of people you didn't have to substitute what you wanted to eat.
Very clean even smelled clean. Courteous staff but then everyone in Georgia was so polite. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Standard fare for free breakfast. Our first time in Georgia. We really enjoyed our vacation. Very handy that a Cracker Barrel is right across the street for suppers.
Great place, nice view from the 5th floor. Many near by places to eat at. Close to the interstate and many local landmarks. Will come and stay again in the future. The parking and WIFI signal were my only two negatives from this hotel.
The more times we visit Holiday Inn Expresses, the more I appreciate the chain wide service and quality. The room we had was large, comfortable (sleeping and for watching a little TV before bed), quiet (even the HVAC system ran efficiently with little noise) and had all the amenities one could ask for (coffee maker, fridge, microwave) and a modest bathroom which was clean and neat. By the way - breakfast was good too.
We stayed at this hotel as a result of the Hurricane Matthew evacuation. We were quoted one price. As a result of the storm we had to come a day later and were told it wasn't a penalty involved. Little did we know the entire reservation was changed and we were charged fluctuating prices throughout the 5 DAY STAY at this filthy place. Not only were we ripped apart by the Hurricane, but by this hotel as well. They informed us that there was nothing they could do, bc even though the hostess ensured us there was no change they sent an "email". Poor customer service, poor rooms.
