Overall this hotel is average and pricey, but the location is really good. It could use some work because the overall feel was really outdated and with ignored areas, especially after you left the entrance area. Breakfast was mediocre. Beds were decent, not much water pressure and they need to improve parking lot spaces. I would probably stay here again but only if I knew the property had been completely redone or if there was nothing else available.
We were attending an Atlanta Braves game and chose this location vs. a closer HIE due to a much lower cost. It was only a $8 Uber ride to the stadium, so we will be staying here again for games. The hotel was clean with a few wears and tears here and there, if you inspect bottoms of bathroom doors you may be disappointed. As another reviewer had mentioned, I was thankful for the well lit parking area, until I got in the room after the game and it was lit up like the 4th of July. Maybe just a tweeking of the angle of the lights would help, I was on the 5th floor. The one security measure I didn't understand was the elevators. They said you needed your room key to enter, but then the door to the elevator area was propped open. Maybe there was a reason, I didn't research why. Just seemed strange. breakfast was until 9:30 and we arrived close to 9 and the supply of food was just as if we had been there at 6. Some places you only get picked over food, so that was great. Staff were very friendly. Biggest issue for me was the computers in the business offices. We were trying to buy our game tickets before arriving at the ball park. After waiting for such a long time for page to load, like 1980's long time we gave up and bought at the stadium. So be careful if using for game tickets, flight tickets or show tickets. Will definitely return.
Not the best hie. No recognition for being a platinum member. Toilet seat was ready to fall off. Could use some work. Breakfast was mediocre. Beds were decent. Location was good, I probably will stay there again because of the location or maybe try kennesaw HIE.
We stayed here for two night in the end of your visit to the US. I think it's a bit pricy for the standard, but it's far enought from the I75 to be quiet and it's leagues above the motels in the area. The service is very good! The rooms are clean. The fan in the bathroom is very noisy and so is the A/C, but that is very usual the US and far as we have experienced. We travelled with to buys and they shared a queen size bed. It would be great to have rooms with queen size and 2 single beds to a least have sheets for single persons. But again that has been an issue everywhere we went. Breakfast it fine. Again I would expect a but more at the price, but that's a small thing. We were happy with our choice,
The bed? Great - everything else very average. The sofa is icky, I wouldn't sit on it never mind sleep in it. Carpets in hallways and in bedrooms need shampooing - it's just got this older grubby hotel feel - I stay in many (many) HIE properties and this is just one of those real old ones. Hope not to have to stay here again. Staff are friendly - not their fault they are in an older run down property.
My daughter and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on the way back to Tennessee from Jacksonville, Florida. During our trip we also stayed at a Best Western and a Country Inn & Suites, but I must say this Holiday Inn Express was by far the nicest of the three. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the continental breakfast was delicious. In fact, I have stayed at numerous hotels over the years for business and travel and I would rank this particular hotel at the very top! Great job Holiday Inn Express! Thanks for making travel more pleasurable!!
Stayed here several nights for work. It's small for a Holiday Inn Express, which was actually nice - easier room access, friendly and non-frazzled staff. I was impressed with the staff's cheerfulness and professionalism. The room was good sized, super clean, and bed/pillows were comfortable. Only drawback is location - there's a Cracker Barrel across the street but otherwise not a lot nearby, mostly office parks.
We stayed on the 4th floor and our room was nice. The only problem was the AC quit in the middle of the night and wouldn't cool the room. Breakfast was good and included cheese and egg omelet and bacon. This certainly isn't the nicest express we have stayed in the certainly is above average. I appreciate the security they have and the parking lot is well lighted but it makes the room too light for a good nights sleep? Beds are comfortable and the hotel is quiet.
We stayed here Christmas night on our way from Fl to Nashville to see the grandkids. The staff was very friendly, even having to work Christmas. The hotel was very clean and the room was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was the standard Holiday Inn included breakfast. The food was good and the buffet was kept supplied. We will stay here again, a good location near the Interstate on the north side of Atlanta.
We were greeted by Tim, the night clerk, who was cheerful and gracious. We chose our room and were not disappointed. It had a refrig, micro, free coffee in the lobby, and all other amenities which you'd expect. BUT, four pillows on each Q bed with labeled cases: soft and firm. Very nice touch. After a great sleep and adequate breakfast, we saw Tim again, on morning duty this time. We will be back.
