The place is very fascinating but we were there for a Wedding Party. Staff was pleasant and the dining room looked very, very nice. The food was very tasty and we all enjoyed it. I found out there is a dining service at the spa and at the swimming pool.

We booked this space on spec for the last night of a two week trip to Greece - the Margi exceeded expectations in all ways. Exceptional service, great restaurants and drinks, lovely decor. A definite highlight.

Our 2nd visit to this wonderful hotel, it won't be our last....we adore it! The ambience is beautiful and the food superb. The give you an idea of the level of husband and I are cooling off in the pool and one of the hostesses sweetly wanders over and asks if we'd like our drinks topped up and brought over? Moments later our drinks are placed poolside and the delightful lady informs me that my glass is on the right, with 2 ice cubes and my husbands is on the left, with 1 ice cube....she'd remembered our preference for ice cubes, unbelievable! The staff, without exception, can not do enough for you. On our previous visit my husband and I booked an executive sea view room, which we found to be small but perfectly formed and completely adequate for a couple. On this occasion we were celebrating and our daughter accompanied us so, we took a large in take of breath, and treated ourselves to the premium was divine, incredibly spacious and the views every bit as good as the photos. Thank you, team Margi, for an outstanding stay and a truly memorable celebration for everyone in our party.

I stayed here three nights during a short visit to Athens for my friends wedding. Nice boutique hotel with great service and good atmosphere. The pool and bar area are amazing. Rooms not so much. Rooms are small and a bit old on my opinion. Great stay but rooms are overpriced.

We stayed four nights at The Margi in July 2017 and had a perfect start of our holidays in Greece. The hotel is so nice, the reception smells so good, the swimming pool is one of the most beautiful, the Malabar restaurant very trendy and the brand new spa a delight. We can only but recommend..!

I always suggest to visitors to Athens that they stay in Voula or vouliagmeni. This was my first stay at the Margi and it's simply a perfect hotel. It feels like a small luxury boutique hotel but actually has about 80 rooms. Location is perfect and walking distance to several tavernas, restaurants and the beach. The courtyard with pool, bar and lunch restaurant ate fantastic. Rather than do any exploring, we spent the day lazing around. You'll feel like you're on an island a million miles from downtown Athens. It is an expense option tough. Not just the rooms, but lunch, drinks etc. worth it if you can do it. We were there for a one night special occasion.

We stayed at the Margi Hotel as a family of four ( my husband, and our two sons 16 and 14) in July 2017. The hotel is a pleasant surprise and decorated well. I loved the linen slips and the pool area. The service was good and food at typical European costs and standards. The salads and fresh goods come from their own farm so they are the real organic deal. The beaches around the hotel offer from the extravagant to the more humble family non paying beaches. There are no views of the sea from the hotel. We particularly loved the pool area and the breakfast was superb. The only negative I have is that at a VERY specific time the pool has to be cleared and time made for drinks. I understood the rational of it but found it irritating that we could no longer lie on the beds where we had been most of the late afternoon. I found it annoying that as a paying resident of the hotel I had to move to accommodate other visitors etc.

We stayed for one night at the end of a week long break in Greece and this was undoubtedly our highlight. The Margi has managed to create it's own intimate stylish ecosystem that completely encapsulates you. Beautifully decorated throughout, the centrepiece is the olive tree lined pool with it's vibrant bar and splendid restaurant. The rooms themselves are comfortable but not spectacular, ours was on the first floor looking on to the pool and was perhaps a touch on the small side - it also gets a little lively in the evenings so if you want an early night you might be best to ask for a room on a higher floor. We ate in the Malabar restaurant in the evening and the meal was excellent, as was breakfast the following morning. The complementary valet parking and poolside ice creams are nice touches. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed at The Margi for 5 nights and it was nothing short of a 5* boutique hotel experience. From the valet staff to the guest relations manager Afroditi to the very hospitable and friendly staff around the pool and Malabar, everybody seems part of The Margi family willing to make your stay memorable. The rooms have beautifully been renovated to modern standards and our room facing the pool and overlooking the Athens Riviera in the back made it even better (I recommend booking a room on one of the higher floors facing the pool for the best views from your balcony). The only recommendation I could think of room wise is having a topper on the bed so the entire bed becomes one instead of feeling like two separate beds. The third generation of the Stavridis family has created an absolute secluded sanctuary in the Athens Riviera, close enough to Athina for daytrips, yet far enough to feel you are away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The spa in the basement of the hotel is design wise definitely one of the most beautiful I have every seen and Giagkos Agiostratitis can be proud of this major project which recently finished. Though treatments, how to execute them and punctuality (a 60-minute massage should be a 60-minute massage not 50 minutes or less) need some attention to make it a 10 out of 10. Other common areas (for example the staircase, carpets and elevators) compared to the rooms, pool and spa seem to have been missed during the rest of the renovation over the last couple of years and come across as outdated and maybe even a bit claustrophobic (the elevator that is). If you are choosing The Margi for an absolute peace and quite retreat, than be aware that the hotel had quite a number of kids at the pool during day time (when we stayed it was obviously still summer holiday for most kids) who produce some noise now and than. The breakfast at Nilaya every morning included everything you may wish for and the Greek do like their sweets! At night the bar and pool area look like a fairytale and coming 'home' after a dinner outside the hotel make you want to hang around till closing sipping cocktails. It would be nice if the boutique would sell some local food products like locally produced honey, The Margi Farm olive oil and some local wines. And last but not least our Margi Farm visit for a private farm to fork lunch on Thursday afternoon is a memory which won't leave us anytime soon. An absolute highlight at the end of our stay just before our flight home! A big thank you to The Margi team!

Small boutique hotel on the south Athens bay community of Voulagmeni . Several beach clubs in easy walking distance. Smart restaurants and tasty treats st hand. This is my third stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great morning breakfast buffet. Food to fit any pallet. Produce comes from their own farm. Love the pool. Location near airport, tram to the center or the metro makes the hotel and it's location the perfect place to stay.
