Very nicely located right on the Aegean sea. Hotel needs a bit improvement, however location and the beach is unbeatable. Hotel has a nice swimming pool. Would recommend the restaurant near the sea. Close to nice fish taverns. A bit pricey in the season.
We cannot thank the Plaza Resort Hotel enough for the amazing conference we just held there this November. Catering to 400 delegates from all over the globe, the service and amenities are exceptional for both business and leisure stays. We had a number of families attending and they were able to enjoy relaxing by the pool, playing on the private beach and beautifully prepared and served food daily. The conference management was superb! Catering to our every wish and need 24/7. Fro the reception staff to the catering - the comfort of the rooms and stunning views, It was truly a blissful experience had by all. I've attended many retreats of this nature and as an event coordinator, I can say the Plaza is a very friendly, attentive, highly professional and perfect place to stay for business or leisure. Rooms include breakfast and the price is very reasonable for the luxury offered. Lovely area to walk to local shops and tavernas making this a relaxing, accessible stay for one and all - Thank you Thank you Plaza Resort for making this one of the most successful Retreat our global community has ever experienced. We Will Be Back!
We only stayed here for one night before flying back, after spending few days touring the whole country last thing for us was to relax by the pool and enjoy some downtime! Our flight was at night on the next day. As we had arrived late for checkin it was nice of them to extend our check out time till late evening on the following day! Cleanliness can be improved especially railings near the bathtubs but nothing major! Small things as they are a five star resort these things do matter:) nonetheless a very positive experience! Prices should perhaps come down during low season
Just came back from a 5 day yoga retreat at Plaza Resort and I'm really happy with the experience! The place is just beautiful - I loved the lounge but most of all the garden - pool and beach - it was so great relaxing there! We were on an intensive 5 day retreat of 400 people and everything run smoothly. Conference rooms were light colored and lovely with a view and direct access to the garden that was both beautiful and practical for doing our daily exercises outside. Also since it's not a very big resort hotel it was very convenient that everything was just close by and we could walk from one place to an other in 2 mins max. Food was good but most of all it was the staff that was very very kind, friendly and helpful at all times!!! There were always a lot of staff attending to our needs and all our requests were taken care of happily and fast, it made a real difference for a retreat on a tight schedule. Extra bonus for the local handmade soap they offer at the room, it smells like heaven <3 I highly recommend the place, especially for retreats and conferences.
After having driven around and visiting ancient sights for a week, we wanted to spend the last day of our holiday in the sun, by the sea, and yet a relatively short distance from the airport where we had to be the next morning. The hotel with its nice pool area and private beach served this purpose well. Since already low season, the big hotel compound felt empty. Service at the reception was professional and impeccable. We got a spacious room with a balcony and lovely sea view. The double bed and the sleeping quality were excellent. This said, the overall cleanliness and maintenance could be a bit better. For instance, some of the sun beds were dirty or broken, the safety box in our room did not function, and the hem of the shower curtain was blackened. Small things, but they matter. Also, the breakfast was mediocre rather than five star. If this was a three star hotel, I would rate it excellent. But in the demanding category of five star hotels, the Plaza Resort still has some work to do.
Very nice, renovated hotel. Located at the southern Attica, by the sea. The staff are professionals and very helpful. Very good food. Excellent beach and pool with garden. Very convenient for business meetings.
I would not leave a negative review if the hotel price matched it's service and quality. Our queen bed was two very small beds pushed together, they would slide apart when we slept. This interrupted our sleep quite a bit and left us tired during the day. The beach area is very nice and hip, definitely the best part of the hotel. The restaurant food is not good and the breakfast was not even worth going to. Breads were stale and the food was not fresh or good. The room mini-bar had items missing, and wine and water half emptied already. The bed cover smelled of mold, and needed to be washed. We had the "do not disturb" sign on the entire time, but still every day the cleaning staff walked in the room, not once, but 3 times every day! i had to call management and tell them after 3 days of multiple morning interruptions , and we took photos of the "do not disturb sign" before going to bed each night to show them we were sure it was on. The room has stains all over the floors. Door and luggage staff were very friendly, lobby staff were indifferent. The price of the hotel is too much for what is provided.
The location as a resort was very nice and the setting with pool and beach very good. The season in Septemebre was low season, so it was very relaxing and not crowded. The rooms were a bit too compact with little place for suitcases. View was fabulous. Breakfast was great and the people there were friendly and service minded. When you jhave breakfast 7 days in a row, would have liked a little bit more variation of greek specialities like they did with the fruit. The restaurants nearby were OK.
We visited the hotel only for a long weekend, but from the very first moment the peolpe in the reception (and the whole staff in general) were very friendly, accommodating and polite. Clean and comfortable rooms. Beautiful location right next to the beach, very good food, though we found the dinner a bit pricey. Very possitive that the hotel lends beach towels for their customers. Finally, no complaints at all for the whole facility, it just could be a bit cheaper for a 3-star hotel. We recommend this hotel if you are in the territory.
The hotel lobby is nice, the rooms not clean , our bed sheets had stains we asked staff to change them , an item of my clothing went missing , no one seemed interested to help or to care , the staff not very client oriented, the only nice thing was the pool and the breakfast rest was average , a 3 star hotel definitely not a resort hotel. The staff need majeur training to be a 5 star hotel in terms of service very over priced for the quality and the fact it's very very far from the center .
