Nice clean rooms , warm blankets , welcome drink , free Coffe, friendly and helpfull staff. A simple nice and Cozy hotel ideal for a short stay using the Airport . I highly recommend that hotel , suitable for low budget travel
Old hotel that smells like cigarette, I turned on the AC but that only made the smell worse since I didn't think it was ever cleaned. Even though the front desk guy(s) were nice, I would have spent a little more to sleep better. I felt disgusted by the bed and bathroom, fortunately I stayed for a night, I could not wait to wake up and go to the airport next day which I did way earlier than I had to. I didn't even check if there was breakfast, but I would not eat there. I can't understand how people rated it a "very good quality".
The hotel is placed a little far from athens (around 15km) but it's not so tiresome because you can take the 171 bus to Eliniko metro station, and that will take you like 40 min to Athens center. It's actually better that way because you are placed in a calmer area, the beach is 2 km away, and you have a lot of restaurants just downstairs. The hotel room was nice, clean, with air conditioning, a nice view outside. The hotel staff helped us with whatever we needed. They always had tips about what bus to take or what beach we should visit. It was really nice. I recommend it! :)
The hotel is located right beside a bus station (X96 or X97) taking 25 minutes to get to the airport or to the hotel. Sadly that is the only positive to staying here... Firstly, the hotel is located in a dimly lit alleyway behind a bunch of restaurants making it scary and hard to find in the dark. Further, the help at the front desk is not useful at all, when we arrived the ATM machine didn't work which forced us to pay cash. And the rooms were filthy. It was obvious that they did not clean the sheets or the room at all itself. The floors were disgusting, the bathroom was unclean (the shower foot towel was very black with dirt, and there were hairs from previous guests in the sink and on the floor). Further, the area in which the hotel is located is in a sketchy area and with the walls being paper thin we heard everything going on outside making it very hard to sleep. To top it all off, when I rolled back my blanket to get in bed I found a dead bug. Please if you have other options, stay there. This is a very low budget hotel!!
It is a very good choice for an airport hotel, very good quality/price. Close to the airport (about 20-25 min by bus), bus station is about 200 meters from the hotel. Perfect choice if you only need to rest one night (or few hours) before you continue your journey. Clean, AC, hot water,TV. A minus: no breakfast, no coffee; but it's true that you have to walk only few meters to find a restaurant with a tasty lamb steak, or a mini market and a coffee shop. A nice surprise: the bed had an electric mattress
We stayed here on our last night in Greece as we were looking for something not too far from the airport but also not in Athens. Our first choice got cancelled and so at the last minute I was able to get a room here. The good: 20-25 minutes from the airport on an express bus X96 or X97. Buy your ticket at the booth for 6€ and validate it in the orange box on the bus and get off at Dilofo. You can tell the bus driver and also see the stops announced on the tv screen. When you get off, cross the main street go left then right. Don't worry everyone will point you in the right direction if you have luggage. The bad: there is no lift and the rooms are on the 4th floor. You can take what you need out and leave your bags at the reception. The walls are thin and you can hear everything in the hallway. The room was clean but dated with a balcony facing a small wooded hill. Alex at the reception was very helpful and pleasant to chat with. The restaurants nearby are all soliciting you as you pass and offer tastings to get you inside. The hotel is fine for a short stay and to discover this suburb. Enjoy!
First of all, it's so far away from the airport that it shouldn't be counted as an airport hotel. Secondly, arriving in the middle of the night it's a far cry from hospitable area. Walking around there by myself in the middle of the night, a deserted area just off a 'highway'. Two men came out from a night restaurant and I was relieved to be encountered with their helpful directions instead of something entirely different... Entering the 'hotel' the mould smell was horrific. Outdated to say the least, rancid I'd say. They couldn't provide me with a time the buses would pass by, it all depended on whether or not there would be people along the route ...(?) The buss stop was literally on the road itself, not even diverted to another lane, but simply on the 'highway'. The door of the room I could barely lock. So much for taking a room instead of staying at the airport to be able to feel safe in the event I would fall asleep...car alarms were going off several times in the 5 hour time I spent there laying fully clothed under a towel and my sweater. The only things to cover myself with in the room...
Les Amis is not very far from the airport. To stay one day and/or a night is a good choice. The rates are not very expensive. Staff of the Hotel is helpfull and friendly. I think this Hotel in a summer time, may be considered for a longer stay as the beaches are not far away!
The staff are welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. The balcony was great with a view of Dilofu. Wifi is very good and it is for free. There are nice restaurants within 1-2 minutes of walking, and breakfast is great in the coffee shop across the street. The hotel is some 200 metres away from the bus stop of X96, which goes straight to the airport. That makes it really convenient for travellers. They do wake-up calls.
I like the service of the hotel staff. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room rate is so cheap and cheerful. The location is not far away from beach area and airport. I really don't like the twin bed. We had a double bed plus the roll away bed. It's not a proper twin bed. My roll away bed is so old and outdated and in need of replacement. I didn't sleep well as I sunk in the middle of it. I could also hear the people chatting in the corridor. The pillow is so old and stinks it should be replaced urgently.
