It bills itself as an airport hotel but it is 15 kilometers from the airport, a 20 minute taxi ride. The taxis back and forth cost more than the hotel. There is no elevator so we had to lug our bags up two flights of stairs. The desk clerk did carry one of the bags. The bed had a bottom sheet, but the top sheet was in the closet, so we had to make our own bed. The room was clean but crowded. They say they are three star, but I would not give it more than 1 1/2. I would not recommend this hotel.
Our purpose was to have a quick airport connection the next day. That was quite OK since the X96/X97 Bus pass by very close to the hotel.
Stayed a night here. We needed something close to the airport and this fit the bill. The hotel its self is a little odd. The decoration is a mix of stuff from Mexico, Africa (think Egypt, and Kenya) and reggae Tiki Bar. The room we stayed in was somewhat comfortable. But, again, with the strange theme, there was a HUGE mirror right in front of our bed that made me think I wasn't this hotels main type of clientele. Also, the area around the hotel wasn't anything special, if you need to be close to the airport, you're probably better off finding something else.
This was a spot we picked traveling home from the Greek islands for a stay close to the airport for travels the next morning. The location is good as it's in a less conjested area of Athens (Vira) and about a 25 Euro cab v 35 Euro cab to downtown. Also the price was excellent [...] vs $200+ dollars for an airport hotel (6 miles still away). They even added an extra bed at no cost. Would recommend for my scenario
