We enjoyed staying at the Fresh Hotel in Athens, finding it convenient to site seeing, restaurants and shops. The roof top bar and restaurant offers nice views of the Acropolis along with good food and cocktails. The rooftop pool is quite small but big enough for a quick dip to cool off on a hot day. The breakfast buffet had many selections including fresh squeezed orange juice.

The Fresh Hotel had all the amenities we needed-large, 2 room family room at a good price, a lovely pool, a delicious breakfast included in the price of the room, a business Center, and room service. The neighborhood was great- minutes away from the many restaurants of Psyri and the food markets. We would stay there again!

The location was a little farther from the Plaka than I would have preferred so they should tell folks it is a good 5 block walk. On the other hand it gave us a chance to see a different part of the city life that is more of a local vibe. The street markets with spices and dried meats. The Plaka was gorgeous and definitely more a tourist spot. The view from the hotel rooftop was a highlight and especially at night. What a treat. The receptionist gave me invaluable advice on buying spices from the spice shop across the street and were beyond friendly.

Nice place to stay near the center of town. Friendly staff, clean rooms, restaurant with good food and great views of the acropolis and city.

Everything was fine with the hotel, we were just less impressed by the neighbourhood which was rather grubby and did not feel safe when walking home at night bec the streets were dark and dingy.

I did one night in Athens and stayed at Fresh Hotel. I travelled alone and was weary of staying here because it's in a dodgy area. However, I am glad that I did. The hotel itself is really nice and you can't beat the rooftop. I did the red bus hop on hop off tour and the hotel is one block away from the market stop. I would definitely recommend staying here. But if you are a girl traveling alone I wouldn't go out in this area at night. During the day it is lovely and felt safe but at night I opted to stay in the hotel and have dinner on the rooftop.

Very good location, excellent rooms and the breakfast was a wonderfully nice surprise. Helpful desk staff provided with restaurant suggestions and directions.

Very nice breakfast, good central location and close to Metro stops. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable. Great view from rooftop deck/restaurant. Would stay here again.

Location was great, very central and close to historic sites and nice restaurants. Breakfast was great. Rooftop restaurant/bar with great view. Very good stay and would definitely stay again. Check out at 12, no stress. Recommended.

Excellent hotel, area becomes a little seedy after dark but not necessarily dangerous. Overall a good stay and good value.

Great roof top restaurant and lounge area with pool. Food was delicious and great view of acropolis. Very close walk to downtown markets, attractions, other restaurants and shops. Had breakfast ready for our 4am flight. CONS: Rooms are small, didn't have a great view. Overall good experience and would recommend to travellers looking to see main tourist sites in Athens.

It's not the prettiest building in the prettiest neighborhood, but it's close to all of the action and you can get a sense of how locals actually live - something you will not experience if you only hang in the Plaka neighborhood. Rooms and hallways are very good. Bathroom amenities are very nice - 5-star hotel quality. Breakfast is excellent! Anyone with experience living in large urban areas will be totally fine here. Overall great value!

the hotel is in a great location for sightseeing in Athens. We had one day in Athens, and were able to walk easily to the acropolis and surrounding sights and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and nice. Would highly recommend this boutique hotel!

When planning for my vacation I looked for a centrally located hotel for all the important sites; also needed a gym and sauna - Fresh Hotel provided all that and a very helpful staff. I decided to walk everywhere I could and they suggested the best routes in order to experience the city. Helpful with every plan that I had, good directions, and they noted highlights that I should look for - very informative, very capable lobby staff. Breakfast had a wide variety of dishes, especially Greek yogurt and fresh fruit. Loved the bread too much! A great experience that I will repeat in the future with Fresh Hotel.

Basically, this is the perfect spot in terms of location and design. Just minutes from Monastraki, Plaka, and Acropolis, it has its own serious art gallery with pieces that would be accepted in any modern art gallery in the world. The lobby is always filled with gorgeous couples kissing each other -- everyone is happy to be in the Fresh Hotel in Athens. :)

Not a luxury hotel but very clean, comfortable and affordable. Close to the metro, the Acropolis, in an interesting part of town- really nothing bad to report. Great staff, fantastic free breakfast and all at Motel 6 prices. I would stay here again and give it my highest recommendation.

You would be crazy to stay anywhere else! Wonderful new hotel, clean, very interesting hip decor, great breakfast and great staff. And so reasonably priced for what you get you will be amazed. And don't forget you get a wonderful lighted view of the Acropolis from the top floor where you can also have dinner and drinks. Go for it!

Great room--modern, big, clean. Nice gym. Free wireless in room. Terrific location. Great price!

I had severe back problems and had to cancel the trip. I lost all I paid for the hotel because I COULD NOT make the trip. However, in looking at the Hotel Fresh website I saw I could reserve the same room for the [...]price and cancel up to 24 hours ahead of time & loose no money.Fool me once... Next time I'll do a lot of research before I pay up front through [...]or anybody else.

The concierge and hotel workers were the best. They were very helpful and super friendly. The hotel is located near metro stations and cabs are also available. The rooms are "European size" but modern. I would recommend staying here.
