Located directly next to a stunning church - and just a 3-minute walk to a major shopping area, the Dunlin is the best value hotel in Central Athens. It is within 100-meters the Greek National Theare - and the hotel’s excellent breakfast buffet on the Top floor offers a stunning 360-degree view of Athens as well as the Parthenon / Acropolis. Negatives? Glassed-in showers are not for the modest at heart… and there are some homeless folks throughout Central Athens (and in most major cities worldwide). I would definitely stay at the Dunlin again!

We had a nice stay. The breakfast is pretty good and the staff was helpful with everything we needed. It's only about a 5ish minute walk to the Omonia subway stop. Our only issue was that the immediate neighborhood can get a bit sketchy after 9:30/10pm. I would recommend that solo travelers plan to be back at the hotel by 9 and stick to the main roads.

Very kind reception staff, who offered assistance if needed. The room was spacious. Buffet breakfast was delicious. Breakfast is served on the rooftop, with views on the city and Acropolis. Ladies in charge of breakfast area are extremely nice. The same area serves as a bar in the evening. Bathroom was clean and never ran out of hot water.

The Dunlin Hotel worker well for our family of 4. The room was clean and minimal. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast area is on the top floor giving a beautiful view of the city and Parthenon. We were close to Omonia Square with restaurants and shops.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Dunlin hotel. The location is great. Only 5 minutes walking distance to the metro and close to many attractions. There are some homeless in the area, but we never felt unsafe. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was a good size, the air conditioning worked great and was very clean. There was some noise from the street, but it did not bother us. The breakfast room is on top floor with nice city views. Breakfast was good. The only thing we did not like was the coffee. There was a coffee machine , but the coffee tasted like instant coffee . We would stay at this hotel again.
