This is a lovely hotel. We arrived late and were met at the door by a sleepy but friendly cross-pawed dog. We received a warm reception from Pauline at the front desk. Our room was clean and bright. Each meal was delicious and Anna is a pleasant server. My only complaint would be that the hallway carpets need to be replaced and need cleaning and vacuuming.

Very nice newly renovated hotel, with good view(the sea view rooms)! The service is very friendly(the reception and the maids)! The room is a little small but very nice and cosy.Value for money!Highly recomended!

Excellent location, nice rooms, perfect breakfast, great conference room, outstanding service, kind & smiling personnel. Pre arrangements for our conference were gratefully assisted by Mrs. Tzanodaskalaki Katerina to our complete satisfaction.

I stayed eight nights at the Amarilia, both before and after the Athens Marathon. The room and bath were not large, but very clean and serviceable with a nice balcony overlooking a quiet sidestreet. The staff was very friendly and helpful to our group of marathoners preparing for the Athens Marathon. The morning buffet was very good; I especially appreciated the variety of protein foods offered, like eggs prepared about four ways, great yogurt and topping, baked items, etc., and we just about wore out the coffee machine. Much appreciated! The only negative I can offer is that the bathrooms have a ventilation duct that connects right into the next room, so you can hear everything that is going on or said next door, whether you want to hear it or not. Probably a design flaw that can't be fixed, but a small bother considering the value of the rooms provided. Thank you Amarilia! Opa!

Affordable price, lovely place, hard working and kind staff! My husband and I enjoyed our stay there. It was the second time we visited this hotel and we can't wait to be back. The view to the sea and the friendly faces are worthy.

3 nights, business purpose trip ... hotel close to nice beach ca 150m, close to restaurants and taxi distance to nearest city with shops and restaurants, 45-60 min fromAthens airport and ca 45 min from Acrolpolis of Athens with diffrent transportation options, good hotel for short stay near Athens center, good place for swimming in the sea (also small outdoor swimming pool) and close to marinas where you can rent the boat, good rooms and clean ... good for business meeting purpose. I liked it but assessed as average based on the value vs price ratio.

This is a nice but basic hotel. Beds are very comfortable. It's close to the beautiful Mediterranean! The rooms have refrigerators which is perfect to keep your drinks cold! They also have good size safes so your laptop will fit. The only downside with the hotel is that you hear everything from the other rooms so earplugs are a must!

The hotel is fine, it looks like most hotels, great breakfast! Staff is nice and friendly but doesn’t seem to know much about the sights and options in the area. GREAT beach just around the corner (swimming pool was a bit boring, but like the pictures). The Vouliagmeni thermal spa lake is wonderful! Quite an experience! However The area was a bit funny, maybe because it was off season (October)? There’s hardly any shops or cafes like most other places in Greece and apparently no public transport at all!? In the reception we were advised to get a taxi everywhere, which was quite expensive and annoying. We only stayed one night, so I might have missed something. The shoppingarea 10 minutes away is good for shopping real designer goods and going to all the well known western foodchain restaurants. But it wasn’t what we went for.

Located in one of the Athens seaside, the hotel offers inappropriate service. The management should definitely think about how to improve the service. For example, when my room was cleaned after first night, the cleaning personnel forgot to provide me with new bathroom amenities and towels. The room had a small balcony, that was good, but the soundproofing of the room was so bad, that at night you can easily hear snoring coming from the adjacent room and if you are in the bathroom you are hearing everything what is going on in the neighboring bathroom.

This hotel was a bit disappointing. Far from the center, looked a bit cheap to be honest. Corridor carpets had stains on them (I mean come on, how much does it cost to clean the carpets? Make a minimal effort). On their defense, rooms seemed pretty clean, though i'm not such a clean freak so not really sure about that. Beds were uncomfortable, decor was super depressing in my opinion, and the rooms were a bit cold. When we asked for the heating to be turned on they said it was impossible that time of year, and they brought us some blankets, which were pretty thin and didn't do the trick. Staff was friendly and helpful.
