Hotel and staff were phenomenal. The only problem we had was they work with taxi drivers for a set price no fault of the hotel but the taxi drivers are not always honest and managed to charge more than what they’re supposed to even if they have to lie about it. It’s best just to use the taxi through Uber.

Everything was great!

Check in was fast. Employees are friendly. Breakfast was really good. Breakfast attendant offered to make me eggs anyway I like. Room was clean. Bed was good but slightly more firm than what I like.

In general as other reviews the hotel is very conveniently located, nice and clean rooms, only issue is that staff was not as helpful and accomodating with some requests. I believe it was because i didn’t purchased a tour they offered me.

Great location, amazing breakfast, but very loud. Rooms are too close to each other and can hear everything from under the door. Construction outside our room windows made it very difficult to sleep in. People arraigning to their room past midnight slamming door was not appreciated.

I highly recommend the Acropolis City Life Hotel and will stay again. We arrived at the hotel at about 7:30 am after an overnight flight just hoping to leave our bags so we could go explore Athens until check-in time. The staff at the hotel were so incredibly accommodating! In addition to storing our bags, they graciously offered us breakfast, a place to change and went out of their way to get our room ready early so that we were able to check in before noon (regular check-in was 3:00 pm). The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The breakfast buffet wasn’t fancy, but there were plenty of options including some yummy house-made dishes. The location is excellent with countless restaurants and shops nearby as well as access to public transport. We were very happy and will definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!

The location was easy to find. Great location. The breakfast was amazing! And we were greeted by the kindest gentleman, in the late wee hours. He made us feel very safe, as we were two ladies traveling. I would recommend my friends to book a stay here and I would definitely come back!

Wonderful staff and stay. Great view of the Acropolis from our room. Very walkable from hotel to sightseeing in Athens. Felt very safe. Hotel arranged taxi pickup at airport and departure to bus station so we could catch our bus to Delphi. Both drivers were excellent. Lovely rooftop spot to watch the sunset from the top of hotel.

I absolutely loved staying at Acropolis City Life BH! This hotel had us right in the middle of everything — walking distance to the Acropolis (yes, you can literally walk to ancient history), surrounded by great food options, and close to plenty of souvenir shops. The staff was so friendly, the rooms were spacious and spotless, and the hotel even organized affordable transportation to the cruise port. Talk about excellent service! Now, to be honest — our room view wasn’t exactly “picture perfect,” but that’s our fault for not booking the Acropolis view. The rooftop was cute and relaxing, though they did have a “no outside food” rule, which was disappointing because I had Greek street food ready to enjoy up there. My husband tried the breakfast and said it was “edible,” which basically means it was fine but could’ve used more flavor. However, the unlimited bottled water made up for it — staying hydrated in Athens heat is no joke! Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. Great location, clean rooms, kind staff, and free water — just maybe bring your own seasoning and snacks for later.

Great hotel in central location

Great small hotel in the heart of Athens. Convenient to the Acropolis, cafes and restaurants. Staff is very helpful with directions, arranging taxis, etc. would definitely stay there again.

The hotel itself is very modern and on a pedistrian street. There is a lot of noise which was the only deterant. The breakfast was nice, the roof top patio is great as you can see the Arcropolis and the Parthenon. Just across the street is the market and an easy walk around the area. There is some areas that looked "interesting" around but all in all it was a nice stay.

The property was in a great downtown location close to tons of restaurants, shopping areas and some historical sites. The hotel is small, was very clean, staff friendly, rooms small but very comfortable and well appointed. The included breakfast had a wide variety of choices and was tasty although basically the same every day. Would highly recommend the hotel!

Pre-cruise Stay

From check-in to check-out everything was great. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location. Shops, restaurants, the flea market and the Acropolis are all a short walk away. The rooftop bar, even when not open, is a great place to catch views of the Acropolis during the day and especially at night. Anytime in Athens, this is a wonderful place to stay. Thank you for a great visit!
