In February 2017 I had another stay in my 'second home' as some will call this hotel. As usual a welcoming word by all staff members. Sometimes there were that many guests that there was more than one restaurant for breakfast and dinner buffet. Thanks to conferences this hotel receives groups in different extend, mostly Egyptian guests. All that arranged by the very capable hotel manager. When I had a little problem with some returning bird droppings in front of the door of my chalet I mentioned this to the hotel manager. Subsequently houskeeping cleaned and chequed the spot every day. Once again - 40 years I visit upper Egypt - I accentuate that Aswan and Luxor are as safe as the Red Sea resorts! So do not hesitate to come and visit Upper Egypt and this peaceful and quiet hotel island.

the hotel is not a 5 * but a 3 plus but the staff make it a 5* they will do any thing for you from the room cleaner to the bar staff and pool staff and the manager went with saga for a month good value for money did have a problem with the shower but was sorted out very quickly as was the tv channels the room was very good you need the room on the top floor and try to get the ones on the even numbers as quieter no noise in the morning when the mosque call for morning prayer the breakfast are good if the thing you want are not there ask like yoghurt cold milk fresh juice eggs fruit sometimes not out it was quiet the first two weeks then it was full because of a bank holiday and visit from the president of egypt visiting aswan but still only 12 people round the pool the gardens are very good and the main ones kept up to a good standard the weather was warm in the day but cold at night we did have heaters in the room it was 31 during the day the only problem was the time of the flights do not get to the hotel till 11.30pm and leave about 3.30am would recommend this holiday for jan/feb

despite its amazing location on an island in the beautiful Aswan, the hotel facilities were very old and poor, staff totally un professional and stay prices are massively over rated, i was shocked from the level of low standards of managing a touristic facility like this and i highly believe that it has way more potential then the bad experience that i have witnessed. wouldnt recommend it to anyone honestly

Asswan is one of the most beautiful places you can ever find around the world .. the amount of peacefulness can not be found anywhere else in the world .. The hotel is situated on an island in the middle of the nile ,that can be reached by a 8-10 mnts boat ride which is provided for free every 5 minutes or so, The scenaries from anywhere around the hotel is breath-taking , the place is very quiet and you can relax and have long walks or enjoy sunbathing in the hot sun , The staff is more than friendly and will go out of their way to make your wishes come true , and treat you like royalty . They sometimes even prepare foods that are not on the menu to satisfy the tastes. The breakfast buffet is really basic , nothing too fancy . But certainly has a big varity of foods , The place is like a gem in the nile with a few downs here and there but with that value of money it's a real catch . Totally recommended

Although the resort rooms are not up to date but the calue for money is amazing. This place is one of the best places in the world i have ever been. Perfect dry weather, warm in the morning and chilli at night. The river nile is everywhere arround you. The food is amazing, these people know how to make your trip a memorable one.

Room too bad Room service too bad Food not platable I dont recommand it for any person Location average Room need to renew and the bed is so bad Realy it's bad expierence for me and to my friends I decided finish my vacation here

I was in this 5 star hotel with my boy-friend during a trip in Asswan and it was One of the worst place i ever been we arrived there very tired at 8 pm and we had to change three different room before find something "confortable" in all the room was dirty foor (moquette) dirty sanitaires full of hair, dust everywhere (including reception main bar and restourant) we couldn't had the chance to had a shower becouse of the ugly condition!!! Never again it should be 2 stars no more.

Pyramisa Isis Island gave me everything I needed for my stay in Aswan. Egypt is a spiritual country, I needed the right surroundings for inner deepening in a combination with exploring ancient sites. Coming alone, I felt the hotel treated me like a queen. The service was excellent, and so was the food. The island is like a jewel in the middle of the Nile, with the most beautiful sceneries around. A garden where you can enjoy flowers and birds. Watching the boats sailing around, the beautiful colors in the night shining on the Nile. The sunset. I already miss the kindness I met here, the beautiful people. I will be back.

The hotel has a great location is well laid out but appears that it needs better maintenance or major renovations. The doors of the rooms still have key locks and the carpets are showing wear. The bed mattress needs to be harder and the pillows with more volume. The bulky TVs need to be replaced with flat panel TVs.

It's really a very bad experience the hotel not exceed 3 stars not 1 star the room was shocking the bathroom not working good no cold and hot water the service is very slow and not inderstanding Ur need this was a very disappointed visit.
