"The Holiday home of Eude, in the historic center of the city of San Francesco, takes its name from the owner, Veronica's father, Andrea and Stefano who have recently lovingly renovated it, preserving the unique and exclusive style of a typical Assisi house.
In addition to its central location, what makes the house that Eude bought years ago unique is its panoramic terrace overlooking the valley below and with a breathtaking view over the rooftops of Assisi, from which you will enjoy unique moments on the roof of a unique city.
The apartment is located on the second floor, consisting of two welcoming bedrooms, a living room with a view and a kitchen from which, via an external staircase, you access the terrace, a magnificent private space where you can enjoy an aperitif at sunset thanks to the furnishings supplied."

This apartment is exactly as advertised, a spacious place in a great location in Assisi! We were there for several days and appreciated the ability to spread out. One of the bedrooms, especially, is very dark and was perfect for sleeping. There are no standard kitchen items -- such as salt/pepper, coffee, sugar, etc -- so guests will need to bring or purchase those. Overall an outstanding stay!

This place was beautiful! The rooftop patio was beautiful to watch the bells ring and look over the valley. The home had all we needed for our stay. The beds and the home were very comfortable!

This clean and beautiful apartment perfectly suited the needs of our family of four for a week. We loved the views, using the kitchen, and being able to do our laundry. The owner was very responsive. Highly recommended!

Great base for enjoying Assisi and Umbria

You won’t do better than this place! It has everything you want for a great visit to Assisi. Wonderful apartment. The big plus is the rooftop patio accessed via stairs (not a fire escape, actual metal stairs) from the back balcony with seating for 4 and an umbrella. The views from the front rooms and the patio are astounding. You have a great view over the valley, and of the Basilica of Santa Chiara, and of the bell tower of Santa Maria Maggiore (where Carlo Acutis lies in rest), which is a block away. The building backs onto an alley with a small boutique hotel at one end (barely noticeable) and across from the back of the police station, which makes it very quiet (and safe). It fronts onto a small, one-way street typical of Assisi. A little traffic in the morning “rush hour” around 7-8 AM, but not a bother. You are maybe 50 m from a little cafe, and less than 500 m from some very good restaurants, about 500 m to Santa Chiara. Santa Maria chimes every 1/4 hour from 8AM - 9 PM, but it is not obtrusive, and actually was quite charming. The hosts are helpful and responsive. The place is part of a network of rentals called “Skappo in Umbria” (escape to Umbria), who will contact you after you book it to get your details and send you the rental agreement. For those traveling from the US, they will ask for a copy of the picture page and the last page (with the number) of your passport. This is required by Italian law, so don’t be skeeved. You will love it here.

Assisi Experience

Our time in Assisi at this property exceeded our expectations. The apartment was lovely and the roof top was a very nice bonus. The apartment is centrally located and services/restaurants are all very close. The town is charming and the apartment provided us with the old world experience with modern conveniences. Our host was excellent and vary responsive to our needs.
