Wonderful

Great view, rustic cabins, fantastic food. Rooms were quite warm without air conditioning. Would recommend this as a go to place to stay on Manitoulin Island.
Nice area, very remote and quiet. Place to stay for more than a night, as the room has a kitchenette and there are a lot of options to hike and canoe.
Lots of information provided by the staff, and a lot of “don’t do this, don’t do that” that gives an impression that some guests have not respected the place and that the staff is a little bit stressed…

The setting is beautiful and our cabin had a good view. We found the cabin to be too basic for what we were paying.
Red Lodge is a serene property…beautiful lakeviews, clean rooms, wonderful outdoor sitting areas. Our meals at the onsite restaurant were fantastic … Jean was amazing host !
Highly recommended

The Expedia listing was entirely inaccurate. There was no mention that there was no AC, wifi, and TV. We had to leave early because I was suppose to be working but couldnt do it becuase there no internet connection. The beds were extremely squeaky and the mattress had a dip which made the already uncomfortable experience even worse.
Worth it!
Staying at Red Lodge reminded me of summer camp when i was a kid. A communal campfire was a great way to get to meet other people. It was very tranquil at night and great for sleeping.
First time visit last week. Red Lodge captures the spirit of Manitoulin and Lake Manitou while offering well furnished and appointed rooms and a top notch dining experience! I definitely plan to come next year !
My husband & I stayed for 2 nights. First night we had dinner there. One of the best meals we’ve had dining out. Staff are very friendly & welcoming. Our cabin, the grounds & restaurant were very clean. Restaurant had that old school cabin feel. The view from the dining room is perfect. Beautiful sunrises & sunsets, so many stars in the sky & we even got to see a shooting star! Disappointed we ate dinner elsewhere the second night. Definitely wanting to book a cabin next year with friends.
Its a never again. No television no radio no wifi. Nothing at all. Never ever again

Location is great but... Super squeaky beds, can't make any move without waking up everyone. There is no wifi in the cabins, only in the restaurant but for staff only. No AC in the rooms and we were there in the hottest days of the summer. It was also the most expensive stay in our 2 weeks trip.
