Very cute Cabin! It is small, but honestly, as long as you push the sofa bed back in during the day, my husband, daughter, and dog did not feel like we were on top of each other. Listening to the creek everyday all day was amazing. Especially at night, fireside and in the hot tub! Saw lots of deer walking past the property and we walked by many that seemed unbothered by us and our dog. I would definitely come again, but maybe make it a little more romantic and leave the rest of the family at home.

Clean, well stocked, coffee pods provided and a bottle of wine! Great location close to park. Toilet was issue. Yes it is clearly explained in the description of property. But when you get there, there are signs everywhere reminding you to use liners and telling you if you do not you will be fined. I think it was the threat of a fine that bothered us. However it was clean and comfortable. Hot tub was amazing after a day of hiking, but not all jets were functioning.

We had a wonderful and peaceful stay at this location. It is a short distance to the Mt. Rainier Nisqually entrance! The peaceful surroundings were exactly what we were looking for, and we especially enjoyed unwinding in the hot tub on the back deck surrounds by trees and wildlife. The host did an incredible job of making us feel at home. They provided an impressive amount of cooking supplies, from various oils to spices, as well as coffee and snacks. We really appreciated the helpful tips about the local area. The internet was a major plus, as there is no cell service in the area, and it worked perfectly throughout our entire trip.We do have a couple of notes for future guests. The water pressure was quite low, and the hot water tended to run out quickly if we took showers back to back. Also, the full-size bed felt a bit small for two average-sized adults, and one of us ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which wasn't ideal. As a general tip, we highly recommend stocking up on groceries before you arrive, especially since there is a full-sized kitchen and has everything you need. There are only a handful of restaurants and grocery stores nearby, and they all close fairly early. Lastly, the incinerator toilet was an interesting and new experience for us, but the host's instructions were very clear and easy to follow. We were also able to get quick answers to all our questions.Overall, it was a great stay in a cute little cabin in the woods!

Nice cabin with great location near the entrance to Rainier National Park. Responsive host, quiet, clean, lots of amenities, and well equipped. As others have commented, the incinerating toilet had an occasional odor, and the price was high (I did book last minute and it was a weekend in peak season)

Great place to stay
Very cute cabin close to the national park! The outdoor space was lovely, we especially loved using the hot tub.
Only downside was the incinerator toilet, which stank rather badly and caused us to move inside from the deck on more than one occasion. To be fair, this may not be an issue on a breezy day, but on a still day it became unpleasant. That, and we ran out of toilet paper on the last day and could not find any stocked in the house, which was a bit awkward.
Other than that this is a great place and I would stay here again!

Great Mt. Rainier Pit Stop
Spent 2 nights at this lovely cabin. Great spot with amenities and everything you could need for a comfortable stay including supplies for cooking.
Hot tub and fire pit were great to use after a long day of hiking. Only night is that I didn’t realize the toilet was incinerating which was a new experience as someone adventuring from NYC. Facilities were clean and it wasn’t a problem, but was definitely a learning curve.

Great property, exceptional host
The property is perfect for a solo stay, small family, or couples get-away. A lot of care clearly went into the construction and decoration, including homey touches like nicer dinnerware and flatware, enough dishes and utensils to cook a full meal, games to play, and robes for guests. I also loved the creek running behind the property. It is very close to Mt Rainier National Park - it was easy to do a day hike starting later in the day and then head back to cook a full meal.
As nice as the property and location is, this stay was even more notable for the exceptional communication and assistance of the host, Rick. Rick went above and beyond to resolve an odd (ie, likely one-time) technology issue that was preventing the reservation from fully processing, including multiple calls to IT/reservation support to resolve the issue. This was a special get-away for my milestone birthday, and Rick made it possible for me to have this experience. I would definitely stay here again.
