I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The room had a very strong, unpleasant smell and the bedding felt stale and musty. I had to keep the window open all day and night just to make the room bearable, which was far from ideal on a cold and wet February weekend. Cleanliness was also a major issue. The walls were visibly dirty, the bathroom had not been properly cleaned, the mats appeared unwashed, and the floors were stained. On top of that, there was no proper hot water for showers — we only had lukewarm to cold water throughout our stay. The small kitchen area was also a shared space, which was not clearly communicated. There was no privacy, and we did not feel comfortable using it. Overall, the condition and facilities fell well below acceptable standards. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made to hygiene, maintenance, and guest communication.

Was a cosy home from home. A nice base for us to visit family and a couple days away with our young baby. The couple of kitchen appliances were enough for our needs and small touches like towels provided and complimentary biscuits was lovely. Great, attentive hosts but gave us our space during our stay.

One night stay to visit local family. Very welcoming, met on arrival. Coldest night of the year so far and it was warm, cosy & comfortable. Owners live next door, attached house, easy parking, easy to find. Will possibly be return during 2026, central location for all our needs.
