Bathroom was small and cramped with no place to place toiletries. Requested a ground floor room twice and never received word this was not to be.

Check in was easy, man at front desk was very friendly. Muffins, danishes, coffee and tea were available in lobby. Morning breakfast was delicious.

It was quiet and a nice change compared to a hotel with a more inviting room. More like staying with your grandparents (house/rooms are old). The breakfast wasn't as good as a traditional Bed & Breakfast but was better than the horrible breakfast you get at hotels.

Rooms are a little tight and very outdated. Still there is a certain charm to the Inn and I would stay here again.

Such a beautiful location, quiet surroundings! The breakfast buffet was amazing too.

The Echo Mountain Inn is a very cozy place to stay. The breakfasts were really delicious. They had quiches, breakfast casseroles, baked goods, fruit, etc. Definitely above and beyond the standard breakfast buffet food you might find at a chain hotel. We stayed in one of the rooms in the building behind the main building with the efficiency kitchens. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the bathrooms are a bit dated. We were disappointed to find that the pool had no water in it. I thought this property listed a pool in its description when we booked last winter, but I notice that now it's no longer listed. Hopefully the pool will be fixed soon. The back porch is a nice place to sit and play games in the evening.

It was a very comfortable room with a huge, comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The property is in a quiet, beautiful setting. The owners are very caring and friendly. The breakfasts are amazing. Today we had lemon custard pancakes; the best I have ever eaten!!

Quaint Bed and Breakfast. Nice and cosy. Good location. Staff very friendly. Room walls were very thin. Could do with a little TLC. Very nice Breakfast. Could do with a little TLC in the rooms.

Beautiful B&B with a wonderful view and friendly staff. Delicious food, most of which came from local sources. Comfortable and engaging main house with lots of places to sit and relax to enjoy to view. Entertainment items such as puzzles, books, and games were provided for all ages which I felt was very thoughtful and a nice touch. The room was clean and quaint. However, the mattress lacked support and the pillows were quite stiff. Better air circulation for the room such as a ceiling fan would have been appreciated to help cool the room. The plug outlet next to the air conditioner only had one working outlet and there were few other places to plug in other things such as chargers and laptops.

It was delightful. Enough is enough. Don’t push the limits of discourse.

Was told 2 times we would have queen size beds and they were not queen!!! For four ladies regular size beds were not very comfortable! Breakfast was great!

A cute little inn, with a wonderful homemade breakfast every morning, a nice fire going in the living area every evening. Nice staff to make your stay memorable.

Everything about this place made you feel like it was home. From the time we walked in until the time we left everything was very personable. We would definitely stay here again

Although it may be easy for locals to find, for somebody not familiar with the area and even with a GPS gadget it was hard to find. There a lot of of twists and turns to get there. Best exit to get off, is exit 49 on I26. No matter what your GPS says. The inn is not as impressive to look at from outside. Probably a little TLC is required on the grounds. Once inside and at first sight it does not appeal much but it grows on you. The inn is very clean inside. The rooms are relatively small but the decor is very cozy and beds are comfortable. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is one the best I've had in a bed and breakfast. It's buffet style but the dishes are not you usual boring breakfast fare. Just a wonderful variety of food and drinks. I would definitely consider going back to this Inn in the future

Echo Mountain Inn sits in a pretty spot up a twisty road high above Hendersonville and the surroundings, just three miles from Jump Off Rock with its panoramic views of the Blue Ridge. The Inn itself dates from 1896, so you've got stone fireplaces, some slanted floors, antique furnishings, cozy nooks, and a lovely sun porch. The breakfasts were uniformly excellent with fresh, local ingredients and a full selection of popular opinions. Our room was small with a tiny bathroom sink and an older style TV, but it was pleasant enough with an outside deck, rocking chairs, and a delightful view.

I rolled in around 9pm. No staff is there late so be prepared, the property is dark. The best part was the breakfast it was outstanding.

I'm sorry you were unable to get a ground floor. Every room is unique on Orbitz so when you book a room it's not part of a "pool" of rooms like other hotels. If you come again, book early and hopefully you'll be able to get one of our high demand ground floor rooms.

Thank you for your review. You're correct, our Inn was built in 1896, so definitely have an old, classic feel. We provide home made breakfasts every day aiming to please our guests. Our goal is to provide a bed and breakfast like experience with an affordable rate. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the wonderful review Holly. As we are in the process of taking ownership of the Inn, one of first items for renovation are the Little Echo rooms where you stayed. So we always appreciate feedback for how to make those better. We're very sorry about the pool situation, we were told a few weeks ago we wouldn't be able to use it this season because of the age. Fortunately, last week we just got approval to set it up for the Summer. We hope to have it open next week.
