We had a wonderful stay. The home was exactly as described—very comfortable with thoughtful details throughout. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, which made cooking easy, and the beds, furniture, and linens were all excellent quality. We also appreciated the convenience of having firewood available for purchase on-site. The view from the porch was beautiful and made for a perfect place to relax. We truly felt at home here. We had a wonderful stay at Abundant Joy! The property is tucked away up a winding mountain road, offering a peaceful and private getaway with beautiful views. The fenced-in yard was perfect for our pups, and the home itself was spotless and well stocked with all the essentials.The location couldn’t be better—just a short drive to Brevard for great restaurants and shopping, and perfectly situated for exploring the area’s many hikes, waterfalls, and scenic drives. There’s so much to see and do within 30–45 minutes, so plan ahead to make the most of your stay.If you’re looking for a quiet retreat to relax and unplug, Abundant Joy is the perfect spot.

What a perfect house. The best stocked house have stayed in! We came up for some relaxation, biking and hiking and this house was the perfect landing spot. The pool table got lots of use and we also enjoyed the hot tub daily. We would book this house again in a minute. Oh- and our dog loves the fenced in yard.

This was a great house with plenty of space to be together in one area and to spread out if we wanted to have some alone time or privacy. It was clean, nice view, and the property manager was easy to access via text message if we needed anything.

Great visit to the mountains

The location of this property is great. It is close enough to Brevard and Pisgah National Forest but far enough away to feel like you are really in the mountains. Everything about the home was as advertised. There is a lot of space and is well equipped. The fenced in yard was just enough for our dog and the deck was a great outside space. Luanne was a great host and checked in a few times to make sure everything was great. We definitely recommend this property!

Thanksgiving

The house worked out perfectly for us and family. Cooked a thanksgiving meal and had everything you could possibly need! The house was central to waterfall trails, Brevard, hendersonville, and dupont forest. Luanne was a great host. We had a great time. Would not hesitate to return!! Thanks Luanne!

Chasing waterfalls

The house is gorgeous and the view is stunning. Peaceful and pleasantly secluded. Luanne is a wonderful host and the cookies she provided for us upon our arrival gave us a taste of the local flavor. Delicious! This was our first time staying in Brevard to hike and see waterfalls and the woods are whimsical. You will not be disappointed. Looking forward to returning next year.

What a Welcoming Visit

The property is gorgeous. We thought we would be way out in the middle of nowhere, but we were close enough to town to enjoy. Luanne made us feel so very welcome from the minute we thought about making a reservation. The property itself is gorgeous and exactly as in the pictured. It rained the entire time we were there, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoors as much as we would have liked, but the inside was well furnished and supplied for all needs. They had everything we needed and so much more. The 2 queen bedrooms are downstairs and each has its own bathroom, which was really convenient. They do not, however, have tvs. No problem for us, but just so you know. The yard is lovely. There is ample parking The hot tub is located where we could not enjoy it with all the rain, but it also looked wonderful. It was so nice to have a fenced yard for our dogs. It isn't such that they could run the yard, but it was enough to sit out with them and let them enjoy some freedom. I have never stayed a place where I felt so welcome and truly like I was staying at a friends.

Mountain Song

Traveled with friends for the Mountain Song Festival and tacked a couple of extra days for fun. We were all comfortable and the house is well stocked for basics (that we frequently forget) The hot tub was the added bonus! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great home base for an adventure vacation!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The deck and hot tub are excellent for relaxing after a day of hiking or biking. Luanne was thoughtful enough to drop us off pastries one morning, which was greatly appreciated! The entire family had a fantastic week, from grandpa to the baby and dogs.

Friends Weekend

Great getaway spot!

The pictures don't tell the whole story. This house offers total privacy with a long range view of the mountains in the distance. You cannot see another house in any direction from anywhere on this property. We drove into Asheville for a concert (45 minutes) and into Brevard (15 minutes) during our stay, and both were very easy trips. Very roomy house with everything you could need. Will definitely try to book again in the future.

I cannot say enough about this well stocked home and the cleanliness throughout. The view from back porch was stunning. The property manager here is the most responsive i have encountered. We travel alot. The house is secluded into the forest We will be back and this is my favorite stay.
