This hotel is amazing, great staff! Super friendly, personal and the rooms are a bit basic but very clean and big. Best hotel near Porto Cervo and Abbiadori. Lovely pool, housekeeping is very kind as well.

We stayed at Monti di Mola for one week at the start of July 2018. From the moment we arrived the reception team helped us with everything we needed and gave us some incredible local tips. They were so friendly and helped make our meal reservations in the evening, as you have to book at most places in the summer it seems. They also recommended some local restaurants away from the yacht crowd! This level of attention from the staff made the holiday for us and the team are a testament to the hotel. The bar/breakfast staff took great care of us (so friendly) in the day and we loved an evening drink by the pool from the very kind bar man. One point we didn't realise at first, there is a great little lunch menu - so we enjoyed that a few days under the veranda. Breakfast had lots on offer, pastries, fruit, cereal etc and the best coffee - nothing was too much trouble, which was a recurring theme here :) The hotel is lovely and quiet and even when full during our week, there were periods when we had the pool to ourselves. Plenty of sunbeds and we hired large blue beach towels from the hotel every day. We felt very much at home every time we came back to Monti di Mola and had a quick chat with the reception and bar team. There are two large supermarkets across the road which help for picnic items for the days at the beach. The best gelato shop is also straight across the road and couldn't be closer! Petrol station behind the supermarket we used once, no attendant you insert card/cash into machine and pick pump number. There is also an ATM to the right of the large supermarket behind the first, in case needed. The room: We had 107 on the ground floor with a large terrace. Room was very spacious and comfortable bed and clean. Large bathroom and great shower. Lots of wardrobe space and air conditioning was fine to keep the room cool from the hot sun. Cleaning staff came in every day about lunch time and were very kind. Also did a turn down service each night which we thought was a very nice touch. This is the sort of treatment you get from a lovely small family style hotel. Excursions: We took the day long ferry trip to the archipelago, which departed from Baia Sardinia at 9:30am, a walk along the path next to the large left hand hotel to the dock. We parked in the shade back up the hill under the trees which was free (tip from reception staff!). This was a great trip and chance to visit some beautiful beaches, although a little crowded, we had fun. One day we also drove down to Cala Ganone which is about 2 hours if you take the main roads and took the ferry to Cala Luna which is a stunning beach which huge natural shade from the large cliffs. We also went inside the caves as a tour, which were very interesting and only 9 euros. Some tips from us Best local restaurants: La Briciola (we ate here 3 times!), Antica Gallura (great local set menu - very good food) Best beaches: Grande Pevero Beach, Liscia Ruja, Capriccioli We will definitely return to this lovely hotel, thank you to all the staff, from Sam and Rebecca

We booked this trip 12 months in advance, and despite printing out our confirmation, we weren't on the hotel computer due to a new system being put in place since the booking. When we checked in they went out of their way to put us into the only remaining room - the bridal suite. Extremely helpful, attentive, genuinely friendly staff. It's only day 2 of our stay and we feel very much at home and comfortable. The location is very much central to the Baia Sardinia region, with all of the local attractions within a short drive through some truly memorable scenery. The breakfasts are a substantial affair with fresh produce on offer and will set you up for the day. Very well appointed rooms with air con, ironing board and very nicely equipped. Good bar that's open whenever you want it. This is a really pleasant hotel that really has ticked the boxes we wanted, and exceeded our expectations. Thoroughly recommend that you consider trying it if you ever want to visit this very beautiful island.

Very bad internet. Very nice greetings from staff. The room was spacious, ok. The bed was very soft - if you have back problems, forget it. Very very bad air conditioning. Although they said it was working properly, it wasn't. The window stayed opened and we were literally eaten by mosquitos. The breakfast was very nice, fresh pastries, etc. We loved the swimming pool. Very good location. If you consider you need a car to go everywhere in the island, there are at least two big supermarket in a really small walking distance from the hotel, which was very convenient. Maybe if I go back to Sardinia, I'd look for another place to stay.

The staff at hotel were extremely helpful . They organised a transfer from the airport for us and when our flight was delayed organised a new time for the pick up. They also sorted a hire car and restaurant booking during our stay. This is a lovely small quiet hotel. The room was large as was the bathroom and had everything u needed. It was fairly basic but very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. The only downside for us was that it was a long walk to Puerto cervo about 1 hr. only a 5 min drive but if we wanted to go to town on evening was a long walk and 25 Euro taxi ride home. There are plenty restaurants in walking distance though as well as supermarket and bank and chemist so everything you need. But you do need a car still I think

This is a really great hotel. The staff are exceptional - super helpful and friendly. The rooms are nice but basic - this really didn't bother me as it had everything I needed: mini bar, safe, wifi, a comfortable bed. The bathrooms are modern although beware that the shower is very small (this was no problem for me but may be for others). The rooms overlook a lovely courtyard with a pool. My room also had the lovely backdrop of the mountain. Breakfast is great (a buffet selection of fruits, pastries and cakes, cereals, eggs, cheese, bread, a few veggies) and the coffee is great. Breakfast is on the terrace near the pool - a really lovely setting and great start to the day. In terms of location, if you have a car (a must if you really want the freedom to fully experience Sardinia) it's a stones throw from the incredible beaches of Costa Smeralda. Without a car it could be a bit tricky. I loved it and will stay there again when I'm next in Sardinia.

We stayed her for 3 nights recently, its a small but lovely hotel a few kilometres from Porto Cervo. The thing that makes this hotel is that staff, they are all wonderful, even the cleaners. You leave you room for breakfast and come back and the room is all immaculate again with large fluffy clean towels. All the rooms have a pool view although not all have a balcony or terrace. Breakfast was lovely and fresh and plenty of choice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The only downside to the rooms are the small shower cubicles but I certainly would not let it stop me returning.

Picked this place because of its location and from reviews on Trip. The hotel is very comfortable. The staff are excellent from check in to people who looked after us during breakfast. Great choice of restaurants nearby. Rooms are very comfortable. Clean. And priced well for what they offer. Get a room next to the pool

We have just returned from yet another wonderful stay at Hotel Monti di Mola. We have enjoyed two prior visits to the hotel on our own but this year we traveled with another couple who also enjoyed the hotel as much as we did. The rooms are spacious (the bathrooms are modern) and our room included a balcony with table and chairs overlooking the swimming pool. The front desk is extremely helpful (especially Kathya who is wonderful!) and they will help you with restaurant reservations and anything else you can think of to make your trip more enjoyable. The breakfast selection is really good and all the patio tables overlook the pool. A word of warning that you do need a car in Sardinia since most of the restaurants and shopping are not within walking distance of the hotels except if you stay in Porto Cervo but those hotels are very expensive. There are some wonderful markets and a cafe (also an ATM for cash) across the street from Monti di Mola for picking up snacks or toiletries. We are looking forward to returning in the very near future!

Lovely hotel, welcoming and helpful staff, clean and inviting pool, though very cold. Rooms are comfortable, bathroom spacious, though shower very cramped. Location is fine, but only supermarkets within walking distance, you have to drive to everywhere else. Hotel pool and snack bar are very relaxed, however may benefit from livening up a little in the evening. We arrived in the evening when it was already dark and found the hotel sign very difficult to spot - needs illuminated signage.
