Upon arrival, our cases were taken to our room and we were offered a welcome drink, met by very professional receptionists. Every communal area was spotless, staff very friendly, pool area in particular had lovely sheltered spots under the trees to escape the midday sun. FOC shuttle to Porto Cervo available at reception during the day. Our room had a sea view and was very comfortable. One point, make sure you take ironed clothes as cost is 10 euros per shirt, no iron/board available due to H&S. Breakfast and Dinner every day offered very good quality food and the waiters were very attentive, although a bottle of Wine with dinner was €45. Overall a well managed 5* Sardinian style hotel, for a relaxing holiday, set in a beautiful location. 30 minutes from the airport. Please note, there is also an additional new daily ‘local tax’ to pay on checkout.
We arrived from London on a BA package of bed and breakfast. The hotel is 25 minutes drive from Olbia airport. Easy drive and very well sign posted. The car was unloaded and taken away, and we went to reception to check in. Whilst the paper work was done, we were offered complimentary drinks in the open bar, which was a very nice touch. We were taken to our room; our luggage already there. Extremely pleased with the size of the room, balcony with great sea view, and spotlessly clean. Good size bathroom, with everything you need. Very good quality toiletries. Our room assistant, Florina , was so very helpful and friendly. The grounds and swimming pools are immaculately kept and extremely beautiful. In the seven days we were there we never saw any litter out of place. The breakfast was amazing. Huge selection of quality food, plenty of fresh fruit and wonderful home made cakes. Excessive charge for fresh orange juice. Superb staff, very well turned out and so gracious. Lovely bar next to the main pool, with good service. We went to the private beach ,which is shared, and it is quite small, however you have free use of sun beds and a lifeguard on site . The main beach is a 10 minute stroll, well worth the walk. It is beautiful, particularly early in the morning. Sun beds have a charge. There is a shuttle, but it was quicker for us to walk. The reason for the removal of one star was due to a few issues. Firstly, the coffee, tea, milk facilities in the room were never replenished adequately, despite speaking directly with reception and the staff member who was responsible. Secondly, work on the wall of the adjacent room was carried out, however , the debris was left on the floor, in a mess. We had to advise reception of the situation. Finally, the encounter of an extremely rude and unhelpful pool attendant, who suggested rather than getting some towels for us to get them ourselves, when we were half way to the beach ,having left the hotel with no towels, due to the staff not being on site. Just to make it clear it was not any of the younger staff, who were excellent. I speak fluent Italian so it was not a language barrier. We always loved this beautiful island and we had a wonderful time. Surely, we will be back.
A wonderful hotel experience. The staff are incredibly professional and warm, the setting and the facilities are exemplary and the food and drinks are first class. It is a very relaxing setting with a glorious pool and nearby beach.I felt honoured to be a guest at CPH Pevero and would recommend it very highly.
We spent great time with my husband. It’s not our first time in Sardegna, but I can say it was the best one. This hotel is really fantastic, including food and area. Special thank you to Svetlana, she was very kind and polite with us. We’re very satisfied with professionalism of personal and highly recommend this place to everyone. Definitely thinking to come back next summer.
The Hotel offers a nice quite place where to stay with all comforts and top service. Porto Cervo with all its restaurants and night life is just 3 minutes away by car, but it is not a Hotel for the ones that love night life and top beaches. It has its own beach but it is not one of the best and it is a 5 minute walk outside the hotel property. The cuisine is elaborated but not much cared for. Nevertheless we had a top class stay. The many swimming pools, with their dedicated space, were a nice substitute for the beach, the Mediterranean scrub that surrounds the hotel gave us the needed relaxed atmosphere. I liked the hotel and I will come back!
I arrived in the hotel on the 20th of April and I stayed 5 nights . Warm welcome to me and my family make us feel like at home .The breakfast and the dinner was perfect quality and variety of many things , fresh fish and good quality of meat . The service people in the restaurant are really very good , very polite and take care of everything .! Reception always smiling and friendly to help . The concierge girls help us where to go and they know Sardegna very well . The room very clean and daily two times cleaning but also the family room with a great view .! Thank you everybody in the hotel for the high standard of services and for sure we will come back .!
the hotel is located in a very convenient position in the centre of Costa Smeralda. You can reach all the famous locations including Porto Cervo which is just 5 minutes by car, there is a good shuttle service not running so often though. some of the rooms have a good sea view (piccolo pevero beach), hotel a private concession in the colonna pevero beach which is nice but not outstanding. it is anyway a short stroll to grande pevero beach which is a stunning beach until 10am and from 6pm onward (otherwise it is really overcrowded especially during peak season), we enjoyed lazy days relaxing by the few swimming pools the property has located in their garden space. the concierge service is v good and we organised also private motorboat tours to the stunning islands of budelli , la maddalena etc. we usually had dinner outside and they can book all the best restaurants which are usually 10-20 minutes max by car. it is not a 5 stars L hotel though but it is almost there. for instance shuttle service should run more often to porto cervo; private beach doesn’t have a proper bar but just refreshments etc. Also if you travel with many luggage you need to make sure to book a room with a decent cabinet space. otherwise you will end up asking for changing it like we did. rooms are anyway nice. from the hotel there are plenty of healthy walks to do passing by beautiful beaches. service is in general very good and made us feel always happy about this. all in all we were satisfied by our staying and we will be back again. ps. they also accept pets which is not common in Sardinia also for close by 5 stars hotels which still have an old fashioned backward mentality
We enjoyed our 5 nights at this hotel, awesome service from staff who could not do more to make the experience more enjoyable. This comes at a price, remember you will be staying in Costa Smeralda, the playground of Billionaires, luxury here comes at a high price but it is all done very well. Special thanks to Jessica, Alessio and all the restaurant staff.
This is nice hotel with lovely surroundings with a few shortcomings. Breakfast is decent but you face a battle with the wasps for the food. It’s an issue that seems to belong just to the hotel as I rarely found another wasp on the island. The buffet dinner was always fully booked due to those on a package holiday otherwise it was the nice, but highly priced gourmet restaurant. The concierge was very helpful and suggested some very good local restaurants. The private beach is a short stroll and easy to find. Swimming pool very nice and complex of mini pools very pretty and great area to chill.
Everything about the hotel was perfect but the stand out was the amazing services. Very rare to find a place these days with such amazing staff, giving exceptionally warm service. Will definitely be back and recommend to all!
