Overall stage at Renaissance was wonderful. The room was clean and had everything that we needed. There was two refrigerators in the room.The staff was always polite and accommodating. The food was really really good. Especially the shrimp salad on the poolside menu. The only thing I could say I didn’t like was the fact that when I got there, I was told that I needed to purchase a meal packet. I figured that if I’m staying at an all-inclusive resort that meant that the money that I paid would cover my meal and drink drinks. But that was not the case. And I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one that this has happened to the couple that was in front of us checking in where surprised as well to find that they had to buy a meal package. Flamingo Island was wonderful. The boat ride over was really great. We also took a taxi over to Palm Beach, also located in Aruba. Palm Beach is in my opinion a more modern side and that’s where the nightclubs are. But during the day there’s really not much going on in Palm Beach. There is a lot of restaurants near the hotel, there’s also a movie theater and a casino.

We stayed there as part of our honeymoon and it was such an amazing location to explore Oranjstad. We love the hotel, the upgraded penthouse floors at ocean suites and the daily boat rides to Renaissance island. I would recommend anyone to stay here if visiting Aruba!

One entire section of the resort was under construction. that should be public knowledge and a discount should be offered. The fridge in the room is empty. my package was all inclusive. the fridge should be stocked with drinks Room service was not included with the all inclusive. That is unacceptable with the amount of money i spent The all inclusive experience ends at 12pm on the day of check out. that was never communicated to us. We left the resort to catch our flight on an empty stomach. If i knew the 12pm rule, i would have eaten at 11am.
