Hotel was really nice! Worth it to be able to go to the private beach w the flamingos

It was excellent and the Restaurant "Aquarius" the entire staff was very good and the food was excellent.. we enjoyed the music and all the guest it was "Great". excited and we look forward to coming back again next year!

Everything was overall pretty decent..except the service was very very slow at all the restaurants, bars, and pool. I quickly learned to just go off the resort for better service.

Unlike what you would expect as gorgeous Aruba beaches, their beaches were small and man-made. Boat rides to their private island and flamingos were great, but many more people were flocking to only 6 flamingos, and we felt bad... Also, snorkel was not nearly as good as what we expected.

Must stay for Renaissance Island. Amazing breakfast, amazing views, flamingos:))) will come back 100%

Private beach is a great attribute and the water was amazing.

I stayed at the marina side of the hotel, this is the adult only side. It’s very clean, has a beautiful pool, luxury stores for shopping, A Starbucks, and is in close proximity to the market for souvenirs/food. Across the street from the hotel is the pickup location to take you, by boat, to the private island where the flamingos are. The staff are all so incredibly friendly, except the private island boat driver. Don’t expect too much help from them, if you have any questions just ask the front desk they are all so helpful. About two blocks from the marina hotel is the Ocean suites, the family resort with the big pools, and a small beach area. Wasn’t too thrilled with this area as there was a lot of ants on the beach, and it just didn’t compare to the beauty of the private island. The private island is beautiful, about a 7 min boat ride, and if you are staying at the renaiassance it’s free you just need your room key. just remember to bring quarters if you want to feed the flamingos! The flamingos are beautiful, I had so much fun feeding them- I don’t know where else in the world you can feed flamingos, so this was so exciting! You can order food/drinks at the private island, they have a restaurant but will aso have workers bringing you drinks and food while you are lounging out. Overall, great hotel and would definitely recommend The Resnaissance!

We had a great stay and wonderful time at Flamingo beach. Close to everything.

I BOOKED A "KING SIZE" BED OVERLOOKING THE OCEAN, AND I GOT TWO REGULAR BEDS OVERLOOKING THE PLAZA - ROOM #1316 ... ALSO LET PEOPLE KNOW EXACTLY WHAT FLOOR IS ROOM #1316 WHEN RECEIVING ROOM KEY.

First off, if you want to see the flamingos as we did, you want to def book this hotel and not another. We saw 2 groups of guests from other hotels come to get to the private island and much to their dismay, tickets are not sold on Sunday. We felt so bad for them. They waited at 6am and was turned away til Monday. Second, the facility was super clean and in great condition. We were at the Marina side not the Ocean side (there are 2 hotels a block from each other). True to their word, the boat comes every 10-15 min and whisks us off to the private beach. There is food for the flamingos (be sure to bring quarters!) and the water is so clear that even fish came up to eat the food. Absolutely dreamy with lounge chairs galore and the restaurant is open for breakfast from 8:30-10:30am. At noon, the green iguanas come out for lettuce feeding. We will def come back again!

Paid with Marriott gift cards for food, charge all the gift cards at once and now they have to refund me for 140 what I probably will never see!

Modern decor, located in the middle of Oranjestad. Nice pools. Shuttle boat to the private island and beach.

I feel bad for other travelers who didn’t choose to stay at the renaissance. I have explored the entire island and you just can’t beat the renaissance. It’s all about the renaissance island. We rented the cabana on the family slide and it was spectacular. There was even a water slide just for our cabana.

The Renaissance Aruba Marina was perfect for Adults looking for a nice get away. Located middle island - so you are never too far from either end of the Island. Also - not inundated with Kids and Families at this property. The private beach provides the perfect quiet escape from a busy life!

Overall, very nice. We enjoyed ourselves. Plenty of things to do.

First time in Aruba. There are plenty of things to do and see around the hotel. Plenty of food choices as well.

Hotel is in downtown so very close to airport, beach, shops, and restaurants. Room has modern look with nice set up. One other thing that stood out was iits own private island with flamingos. Will stay at this hotel again next time around.

I had an excellent time and I would absolutely go again!

It was a great trip. The hotel staff and accommodations were excellent and I’d definite go back.

Our stay surpassed all of our expectations in every way. Aruba is absolutely beautiful. You cannot do all inclusive on this island. We had amazing food on the island and were able to explore other hotels and beaches by eating all over the island. The Renaissance treated us like royalty our entire visit. There was nothing we needed that was not taken care of. The private island was amazing. Not only did the boat come into the lobby to pick us up, but the island awaiting was a private paradise. There were flamingos that posed for selfies, and a cabana where you could receive a beach massage right on the water. This was the highlight of the trip. This place is affordable and amazing, it should be everyone's first and last choice.
