Postillion Hotel Arnhem

Well located close to the motorway.Hotel is a bit outdated.Decent size rooms, quick service in the Restaurant but a limited menu. Breakfast sufficient, but room for improvement as to quality and choice. Large free car park, and free WiFi.

The hotel is in quite a remote location outside of the city centre with no shops or amenities around, but it is easily accessible on the bus route from Arnhem Centraal Station, as the 91 bus stops right outside the pathway into the hotel grounds. I chose this hotel as it is the closest I could find to Burgers Zoo, which was where I was heading the following day. There is a hostel closer, but I would not stay in a hostel. The hotel reception area, bar and restaurant appear smart and stylish and well cared for. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was very basic yet comfortable and spacious. It was probably due a little refurbishment here and there and would have seen better days. WiFi was free and did not require a password. There was no room service and no mini bar. For what I paid this was to be expected. We went for dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was pleasant. Service wasn’t overly quick and they did forget to bring one item that we had ordered, but there were a wide selection of items on the menu and the menu also had an English translation which was extremely helpful. Portion sizes were very generous. It was a comfortable and peaceful night all in all.

I would defintely not recommend the restaurant in case you stay at the Postillion. I was very disappointed. They served me cold vegetables and did not offer any replacement when I told them. The hotel is pretty old so do not expect too much. The rate is low so that makes up for the quality of the room.

Just back from a 2 night stay at this very well run establishment Although out of town, the 91 bus at the bottom of the road gave us excellent access to Arnhem for €2 Very enjoyable stay, enhanced by the very friendly and helpful staff

We are generally having a poor stay at this hotel - there for 4nights for business. On arrival reception was abrupt, it took over 20min to check in as none of our 3 credit cards were accepted, issue with their card machine, we were told to pay cash for the entire stay before checking in - company policy. We also had to correct the rate as we were charged higher than agreed when booked. Reception then took my card details to secure room and then told me my card details were taken down incorrectly and had to be done again. 1st evening at dinner we were told that we should expect long delays as they prioritise hotel guests, which we were! A female colleague arrived on the 2nd night, was given a room key that did not work and then given a room that was occupied - a man was sleeping in the bed.

The hotel is not bad but totally lacks atmosphere. Located in a green area but with the highway no more then a few meters away. No a historic building but not new either; guess it is some fourty years old. Relatively small and standard room and bathroom which both were clean. Breakfastreasonable, adequate for a three star hotel. Juice from machine, so not fresh. Would not hesitate to recommend if you have to be in the area the next day but not really for leasure

I can not think of a single thing that was missing during my stay. Friendly, witty, welcoming personell, tasty food, coffee and other beverages with top quality, and something to sleep in. What else can you ask for?

The hotel is nice, the location is nice and quiet but close to the city center. The staff was really kind, the breakfast could be more diverse. I do miss a small refrigerator in the room. The room was nice and tidy.

On arrival I found the receptionist very abrupt and not really helpful. The foyer was attractive. Our room left much to be desired and needs renovation.. It was grubby, the carpets needed a good clean or replaced, the furniture was battered and dated the walls were marked and grubby. The bathroom had been modernized and was roomy and well appointed. The hallway carpets were also grubby and marked. The dining room was fine and staff friendly.

Shower was dirty and black of moist, also carpet was very old and had many dirty spots on it, cannot recommend a stay here if u are looking for a pleasent stay. Also it is situated direct beside a motorway, but to be fair, you dont hear that much traffic. Breakfast was okay, but not more
