We enjoyed our short stay here with family very much. The room was very clean and modern. The pool was excellent for the children. The view was spectacular. The walk to and from the beach was no problem for us, though it is a very steep incline and would be difficult with very young children or someone with reduced mobility.
This place is ideal. A nice family atmosphere in the hotel. The rooms are big and comfortable. Mr. Stathis was always very helpful. Tolo is a nice town and there are many things to do and see in the area. The view from the hotel is just so beautiful, no matter how many times you see it... The swimming pool is great (and has the view). It's a really short walk from the beach (which is also great). Highly recommended.
We stayed for 6 nights, with 2 kids. The view is extremely beautiful, The food in the tavern is tasty & in reasonable price. Breakfast is basic. Service was good, the children loved the pool. We highly recommend for families who want the best value for money hotel in Tolo
Being a travel professional I enjoyed my family holiday in Panorama in Tolon last weeks. The view was amazing, the service sharp, cleaning excellent (rooms and pool). We received ice advises about the area and the location was ideal and central enough. If you go by foot, please be aware that the number of steps are quite high.
We came from Israel for two weeks, and decided to stay in Panorama Hotel. Excellent idea! Christos and Statis are the owners of the place and they do their best to keep everyone happy. The rooms are big and comfortable, the food at the pool restaurant is cheap and tasty, the pool itself clean and inviting...and the view is breath taking. Couldn't ask for more....
This hotel really deserves his name. It has a great view from 2nd and 3rd floor mostly overlooking the sea side. We stayed in a medium sized apartment with one bedroom a small kitchen area and a small living area. The kitchen was well equipped. Ai conditioning available in all rooms. Breakfast is included, with good food but don't expect too many choices. The beach is close but I recommend taking the car as the hotel is on a hill. Walking for me was 15 minutes to the beach going down and 20 going up. The reason I gave 5 stars to the place is that it makes you feel good. Starting from the owner which is a really helpful person, a local that can recommend you the best places to go, a good taverna or he can just smile and say Hello. The second reason is the nice pool with a nice good size area for kids (60 cm ) and a bigger area going from 1.4m to 2m. By the pool there is a nice bar, really cold bear, lemonade, ice coffe or snacks. The third reason is of course the view but that was already mentioned. This is a true family hotel for family guests. I would not recommend this hotel if - you don't have a car and you have difficulties walking - you beleive 5 star rating means a 5 star hotel - you don't like the noise from a pool full with children Other than that I really recommend Panorama hotel as good value for money especially for families.
This hotel is the reason we came to Greece. The owner, Christos, donated a stay to a cancer charity event and our friends “won” it in the silent auction. The rooms are nice with beautiful views of the Aegean Sea, the air conditioner works great, and the kitchenette was useful. The pool and poolside bar/restaurant are great. Getting there early would be a good idea since many of the family members get the primo shady spots. Shade is a necessity when one of our days there it was 11 0F. The prices for cocktail, beer and food are reasonable and Christos does a great job of being a host. Stathos, who I believe is Christos’ uncle, is also a good host. The breakfast leaves something to be desired but it is adequate and well stocked. I found the coffee to be great and the view excellent. We were able to travel to three excellent tourists sites from Tolo. Tolo is a nice place to stay, hit the beach, or shop as well. I plan on staying here again the next time we travel to Greece. We cut our stay a little short to travel and wish we had stayed a couple of days longer.
We were treated like family by the hotel owners during our visit earlier this month. Stunning views, fantastic pool, and beautiful view from our room. Tolo really surprised us; we also spent time in Athens and Santorini, but Tolo was my favorite area--great beach, close to many historical sites, beautiful town and warm, friendly people. We could not have asked for a better visit.
I only gave five stars for all the services, because I couldn’t give even more. Each hotel rooms have a very nice view to the sea and nearby islands. The rooms and beds are very comfortable with big teracces. There is also a nice view to the nice sky-blue pool. The bar at the pool is awesome. Even though the hotel is on the hill, you can take a few minutes to the beach and to the center of Tolo. The truth is, that I couldn’t find any negatives, because there was none of them. I think we found the pefect place to stay for our next year summer vacation. We will go back to Tolo, and definitely to this hotel. We surely recommend Hotel Panorama for everyone. Once again, thank you for everone – especially our host, Christos – making our holiday unforgettable.
The Panorama in Tolo is first rate. After a few initial technical problems were sorted out by Christos, our stay was most comfortable and relaxing. Christos (Manager/Owner(?)) did everything possible to sort out our requirements. The Panorama is not quite sure whether it's a hotel or self-catering apartments and websites do not always make this clear: we did not realise that breakfast was included in the room price. It was. As there were a few initial problems (mentioned above) Christos offered us a choice of three different rooms but we decided that we would stay in the room initially allocated, but with the provision of a few extras - frying pan, bread board, extension lead, sink drainer, and extra pillows. This did not take long to sort out, and nothing was too much trouble for Christos and his staff. We have holidayed (self catering) in Greece (islands and mainland) over a dozen times, and the rooms, bathrooms and facilities at the Panorama are most "un-Greek" in that they are modern and pleasantly decorated, large bathrooms (not a cupboard) with sophisticated showers that work, and ample lighting throughout. Air conditioning and use of valuables safe are also included in the room price. We also received on a daily basis more clean towels than you can shake a stick at. Forget the breakfast complaints in previous reviews. If you want fresh eggs (cooked however you wish) you just have to ask. If you want fresh oranges, just ask. And so on. Otherwise, the buffet is typically Greek, but better than the norm. The sea views from all rooms are brilliant, though it's better to be higher than the ground floor to enjoy the views of the gulf and harbour to their fullest extent. As far as the walk up the hill is concerned, it's stiff but not a killer. You can't get the view without the phew! Even better, hire a car, then it's no problem at all. In the final analysis, if everything else is OK, it's the people around the place that make a difference, and in our experience, Christos and his staff made that diiference and made our stay memorable. Thanks and regards to all at the Panorama. PS - Why do web sites pressurise potential bookers with messages like "Only one room left", "70 people are now looking at this property", or even "You've missed it. No availability"? We thought we had lost the booking because the Panorama was full. The next day there was availability so we booked. When we arrived (Early in the season) it was half full. If in doubt, contact the property direct. It's not rocket science.
