We have spent three fabulous days there and are still wandering how for just over 100 Euros someone can offer such a great accommodation? The villa is in the middle of a large property that includes a small wine yard to make their own wine, a small olive garden, a well maintained golf course, a very clean and in good shape pool, and a garden with the variety of trees and bushes that could be enough for a small botanic garden. Our room was spacious, clean, with two windows, but a bit worn just to make it styled up for a real bedroom in the old Tuscan home. During our whole stay there the staff was very friendly and eager to help with such things like a shirt ironing or booking the restaurant in a town. What we have cherishing the most was the view of nearby Cortona. This beautiful city is visible from the ground of Villa B. from all the corners around. Absolutely amazing! Overall, the Villa B. is worthy to be considered either as a place for quite retreat or as a base to explore nearby cities of Cortona, Arezzo or even Sienna, which is less than 100 km away. Highly recommended!
We wanted to stay our entire time here...and unfortunately, were only ablke to stay one night. We stayed in the Suite and our friends in a Deluxe room...both were magnificently appointed while at the same time being casual elegance. The grounds outside beckoned us to stay and relax...the rooms called to come and kick back with a book or gather for drinks. Inside the main house/lobby, it was again refined yet casual. When we return to Tuscany, we'll book two weeks here!
We are on our 35 wedding anniversary trip and spent 2 nights here. We loved it! Built in the 7 th century as an Italian summer home it has been restored to its original form. It's like stepping back into time with the exception of modern pluming and an elevator. The gardens and pool area are stunning and breakfast is served outside if you like, in the garden. The pool is very clean, cold and refreshing. The is a small golf coarse on sight as well as a small vineyard and multiple fruit trees. So peaceful and romantic here. I wished we could have stayed much longer. What a treat to sit in the garden, listen to the birds and sip your favorite Italian wine!
Stayed here for 2 nights at the end of July. Lovely relaxing hotel friendly staff and lovely breakfast. No dinner available but a short trip into cortona for some fabulous restaurants. Rooms very clean and comfortable, pool are a great
I love Agritourism type hotels. Baldelli is no exception, nestled on a property that has working wine grapes for wine, beautiful grounds around the hotel and a three hole practice golf course - this place is beautiful. The room we stayed in was quite spacious, had air conditioning and a nice bathroom. The staff are very helpful in arranging anything you need and we're available 24/7. I recommend enjoying a nice bottle of wine on the beautiful patio or by the large pool that is available as well. Meals: Breakfast is included and it's good. We did not have lunch or dinner on property as we found other local interesting places to go. The front desk is really good at finding you a good table out. Best way to get to Baldelli: Take the train from Florence SNM to Roma Termi and get off at Camucina-Cortona and take a cab 2.5 miles (12 Euros) to the property. We will return to this beautiful property again.
Beautiful estate with nice garden and decently sized swimming pool, providing the right context for a relaxing disconnect. Breakfast offers a nice variety of options including continental, and can be enjoyed both inside and outside on the terrace with a fenomenal view. The smaller room on the ground floor could use better lighting. Most of the staff is very professional and friendly.

Practice golf course with 3 holes + drivinh range just besides the hotel with putting green for golf lovers which is very nice! Own wine yard with very good San Giovese grape! These people made are holiday very good! Grazie Team Baldelli!!!! Complimenti a tutti!'
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. The grounds are magnificent, with a view of Cortona up on the hill in the distance. Our room, was very spacious, and beautiful, with an exposed beam ceiling. The breakfast was in a beautiful room, and it was sensational!!!! Scrambled eggs, fruit, meat, cheese, sweets, etc. Wonderful coffee, any way you want it. We were there in early May, so it wasn't quite nice enough to sit outside and dine, but that would have been lovely. Anyone staying here must know that it is just outside of town, so you must drive into Cortona to eat, if you don't want to eat at their restaurant. We ate there one night, and the food was ok, but not wonderful, like the breakfast. Lovely staff, quiet, peaceful place to stay if you want to get away from the town. The wifi is very week in the rooms, but ok in the lobby, which is beautiful. Thank you for a beautiful stay!!
A gem of a property in cortona, Tuscany, it has a limited number of rooms for it give a feeling of a private sort of villa rather than a busy hotel so that's perfect.. It has its own vineyard and a lovely pool!! The breakfast is good. The city of cortona is just 15 mins away and the hotel has a great view of the city. We stayed in a private hut with a private little garden. The local priests dog usually comes and hangs around at the property and is adorable!!! Highly recommended hotel!!!! And ya the staff is great very helpful !!!
Quaint old Hotel in the middle of nowhere. Visit in early May. TV reception (for News)was miserable, no CNN and Fuzzy BBC was "Due to the weather". we were there for 4 nights. The ice machine only worked 1 day. Was nor impressed
