Aparthotel with very clean and spacious rooms and adequate facilities, however air conditioning in main room faulty. Room very hot during night and very noisy given overlooks rail line on approach to Arezzo Station. Free parking and very good location to walk into town. Self catering but with free breakfast and juice/water/coffee in room.
The hotel is near the train station so basically you can travel to anywhere. The room is big and good shower the breakfast was good the good coffee. Also you can cook your own food. The staff very helpful and they have really good wine and fine olives.
Nice hotel with friendly staf. Clean and big rooms with balcony. Hotel is next to the train station (you can hear it) and very close to the city centre. Free parking, Wi-Fi. Good choice. / čisté, světlé pokoje s balkónem, kuchynkou a koupelnou. Dobrá lokalita kousek od centra a vedle nádraží. Vlaky jdou slyšet na pokoji, ale není to nic hrozného. Zdarma parkování a Wi-Fi. Sladké pečivo, nápoje, káva a čaj na pokoji pro přípravu snídaně. Dobra volba.
Double room was adequate in size and furnishing. The staff was friendly and helpful. Some minor problems. Wifi did not work on 3rd floor, but did in lobby and other floors. Air conditioning did not work; however, was able to remain comfortable by opening windows (was not able to report as our schedule did not match with hours of office). Train noise was a negative, amplified by having to have windows / balcony doors open for cooling. Overall adequate considering price.
My wife and I decided we needed a change of scenery after spending the holidays in Rome. We wanted to explore a cool city in Tuscany. Our friends recommended Arezzo and we booked with Le Corniole the very last minute as our plans had to change due to the frigid weather. The staff at the Corniole did an incredible job making our weekend great. They arranged a wine tasting (the tasting cellar is a gem), truffle hunt and pasta class with the owners. The owners even had us over for dinner where we cooked the pasta we just made and ate the fresh truffles we had just found. Everyone was incredible and made us feel so at home. The Corniole is now our go-to place when we want to get out of Rome for a bit. We highly recommend the place.
Good location to travel by train. Breakfast was good and the room so clean and tidy. The staff very helpful. Good value for money and one can easily buy products of the region such as wine and olive oil.
The apartments are well equipped with everything you could need. It was very clean and the wifi was reliable and fast. There are supermarkets nearby so you could take advantage of the kitchen, or there are also many fabulous places to eat in Arezzo. Residence Le Corniole was very easy to find and only about five minutes walk from the train station. Yes, you can hear the trains but they aren't very regular. I had no trouble sleeping. Also, it was only a five minute walk to the start of the city centre. Arezzo is quite small so you can walk around very easily. The breakfast is packaged foods but they are very generous with them. If you don't want it for breakfast then you can take it for a snack or for a quick lunch on the go. As other reviewers have mentioned, the gelateria Violetta is a must! I was very happy with my stay here and I would recommend Residence le Corniole to my friends.
First of all, I wanted to rate le Corniole with 4.5, but Tripadvisor only allows me to choose between 4 and 5 stars. The appartments are lovely and clean (daily room cleaning service) and include a completely furnished kitchen (with a basic breakfast kit) A/C, TV, free Wifi, balcony etc. Look at the pictures, what you see is indeed what you get. Staff is very friendly, multilingual and helpful. An advantage in our case was definitely the free car park. The price-quality is also okay. The old town centre and main shopping streets are only a few minutes walking distance away from the appartments. Next to the appartment, you'll find one of the best pizzerias of Arezzo. So far the five stars. We knew that the appartments are located next to the railway and sitting outside on the balcony, you can definitely hear the train noise very well. But inside, with the doors and windows closed, the train noise was barely noticable (another advantage of a well working A/C). And 4 stars because not everything is perfect. Although the building is rather new, some minor maintenace is advisable to keep everything in good condition..
Good : the hotel is 5 min walk till the old center. Bad: Hotel is very simple, the noise from the trains are disturbing, do not advice this hotel for those who likes comfort and quite. The only one plus is the receptionist, good and friendly guy.
This Residence is just a short walk from the station. The walk from the main road to the hotel has high jasmine plants each side. This was in bloom while we were there and the perfume was wonderful. Opening the windows every morning filled the room. The apartment had everything we needed in a spacious room. Everywhere was very clean. Each day a packaged breakfast was left for the following day - ground coffee, milk, butter, cream cheese, honey, jams, crackers, toast, cakes, fruit juice, etc. The free wifi was good. The shower is efficient but the small cubicle might be a challenge for a larger person. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The one downside might be the proximity to the railway, but after the first night I used earplugs and had no problem. The room would be accessible to a wheelchair user (we were on the first floor) as there is a lift. There is a small lip to overcome to get onto the balcony. However, the shower is a standard step in cubicle so that might not be accessible for anyone needing handrails etc. The apartments are just a few steps to the best ice cream shop in the city. Next door is a supermarket selling everything you might have forgotten very cheaply. Food is not sold there, but there is a large Conad close to the station. The location is very convenient for this wonderful city. Remember Arezzo is all up and down - comfortable shoes are essential.
