Our tour guide took us to this nice hotel for a night stay. The hotel is situated in a busy are but there is no noise. The room we occupied was quite spacious and calm. We had nice Indian food brought from outside to this hotel and slept calmly. Over all this is a good hotel
We arrived at the hotel with riviera travel on the 15th october, and could not believe the air conditioning had been turned off for the iwinter, despite temperatures of 25 and 26 degrees all the week..this made for a very un omfortable stay.food was very mediocre. Most of the dining room staff we great, but our visit was spoiled by one very surly and unpleasant waiter, who never smiled one.we were on a table of six, and one evening he dumped a salad course in front of three of us, and then just vanished.luckily the other three were not bothered. Not the point though, as it as very rude. Would not stay at this hotel again mainly because of lack of air con.we realise it is normally turned off in october, but as the temperatures were exceptional, this should have been taken into a count.
Me & my husband came for 4days 3 nights business trip. The room is spacious. Restaurant food is great. Service is excellent. Great hospitality. One thing that i have to thank them so much especially Frencesca (both of them actually) at the reception (both are very friendly) saved us. There were a couple of us waiting for our shuttle bus to the airport but it wasn’t there at designated time. Luckily she was alert enough to call the shuttle bus driver and he says they have changed location without informing us! Immediately she calls taxi to pick us up. Otherwise we would have missed the flight! Everyone has been telling me Minerva is one of the best hotel, now i’m convinced.
Stayed for 3 nights and the hotel staffs were all very friendly, helpful and attentive! Dined in the hotel’s restaurant and the food was delicious too! Many thanks to all hotel and restaurant staffs for making our experience a wonderful one! ;)
We visited on a Riviera Travel Classical Italy holiday four nights here. We were very pleasantly surprised with this small town which is quite beautiful and quiet after Florence. As has been said not in the best area but just a short walk away from the town and old town. The hotel staff were all helpful. The rooms were adequate if on the small side. The food is good but limited choice at breakfast and no choice for dinner only a set meal. However the quality of the food is fine. Our tour manager Carlotta always there with any information we needed.
The Hotel is easy to find, near to the main road. parking space is free and sufficient even when fully booked. The staff is friendly, rooms comfortable and very clean and quiet. The City can be reached at the best by car, Walking a Little bit to far. Buffet breakfast excellent, bar and Restaurant in hluse also perfect, no reason to go out after a Long day sightseeing. To recommand for travellers travelling by car and looking for a very good Standard at a resonable Price.
We stayed for four nights on a bed, breakfast and evening meal bases. This was arranged through Rivera Travel and we thought it was a good location to be based for touring around Tuscany. All the facilities at the hotel were good and all the staff very helpful
My wife and I have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Minerva Hotel on a half board basis. The hotel room we had was very comfortable and quiet, very clean and the bathroom appeared to be recently refurbished. The staff were very friendly and polite. The food could have been a little better....breakfast was very basic, with limited choice and the evening meal was a fixed menu with no choice! Overall though we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.
Have just returned from a four night stay at the Minerva Hotel as part of a Riviera tour. The hotel was very pleasant overall: it is very clean with comfortable beds, effective showers, good meals, good (free) wifi, and friendly and helpful staff, particularly the waiters at the evening meal. The hotel is approximately one to one and a half hour's drive from Florence and Siena. Arezzo itself was a real surprise - the hotel is situated just outside the old town walls and a fifteen minute walk takes you to the fascinating and beautiful town, which is well worth a visit. I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel or staying there again.
We were given a junior suite for our 8 night stay and it was excellent; large bedroom, sitting room and large bathroom. The air conditioning was most welcome as we were in Italy towards the end of one of it's hottest summers. The staff were brilliant from reception desk staff (Francesca), to bar staff (Errik) and the restaurant waiters, in particular Simone and Lauren so, we're all friendly and helpful and spoke quite good English. If we have a grumble, it would be with the food in the restaurant. This IS a 4 star hotel but is let down a little by the standard of the food served in the, often very busy, restaurant. It was indifferent rather than excellent. Overall, a great hotel on the outskirts of this lovely town.
