We stayed here 3 nights, half-board, while on a tour. It is an easy drive from Florence or Sienna and Arezzo itself is a little gem of a town - with a medieval jousting competition in June and Sept which is more colourful than the Palio in Siena. They also host regular antique markets in the town. The room was comfortable and the staff were excellent. The food was a combination of Tuscan specialities and above expectation for group set meals.
We stayed in this hotel for one night when travelling through Tuscany in spring 2017. The room was large (double + single beds), as was the bathroom. Everything (including aircon!) seemed to work nicely. The reason we chose this hotel (except for the late booking of course...:) was that it had free onsite parking, which is a bit of an issue in Tuscany. WiFi worked well in the room, and breakfast was ok but definitely not amazing. If you are staying for a bit longer, the hotel also has a gym. A few things that were not so nice: - there were ants in the bathroom. Not colonies, but enough to notice them crawling around - the hotel is really, really noisy. I don't know how it got that bad, but the sound insulation is pretty much non existant, and every single room door bangs really loudly when it closes. Not to mention other travellers with TV on at max volume all the time, but you can't really fault the hotel for that Overall, it was OK. Would probably not go back if I could book somewhere else early enough to land a hotel with parking
Arrived here early evening for 4 day stay with group of Solos, so not my own choice of hotel. However, I was very comfortable here. The room was clean, the en-suite shower room (I asked for shower only) more than adequate with nice big marble counter joining the handbasin and a good hair dryer. Also plenty of large mirrors. I was on the 4th floor to one side looking on to next door petrol station and the main road leading to Arezzo town. No noise, except from eastern (Thai ?) visitors who shouted to one another in the corridor very early in the morning. Hotels should display large notices in their corridors asking visitors to keep the noise down there! My room was large enough with a very large, clean double bed which was comfortable, though the pillows were too "bouncy"! Ample wardrobe space and an easy to operate safe, once I had got Reception to send a man to open it, since it was closed with the instructions inside when I arrived. NOTE TO MANAGER - check on these things between guests! The AC was not efficient and it was very hot indeed. No problems with the staff and the simple, regional restaurant food was very good, The two passenger lifts were fast and efficient too. Breakfast, buffet style, was good although, since I can only drink decaffeinated coffee, it was a nuisance to have to wait to get it from the bar. I'm sure others would appreciate it being available more easily too. Since my group were bussed around sightseeing all day every day I cannot say more about this hotel as I only slept and had dinner there.
I stayed at the hotel overnight on the way to Florence. The hotel is confortable, modern rooms, confortable beds, clean bathroms, free wi-fi, and a relatively tasty breakfast, it was perfect for my purpose. No problem parking at the Hotel. Its location wasn't important for me. I recommend this Hotel.
The whole hotel was clean. Friendly staff, several of whom speak good English. Excellent food, often with a local element. Level walk into the old part of Arezzo. It has a decent sized car park. Free wifi. I would have no problem recommending it to my friends.
Very comfortable hotel with very friendly staff and good traditional Tuscan food. Look forward to staying there again as part of an independent tour as Arezzo is a lovely place to visit. Very good wifi
We chose this hotel for parking combined with an easy walk into town. We were offered an upgraded room, the receptionist Francesca insisted we look at both rooms before deciding. She also printed our boarding cards at no charge and was generally helpful and friendly so top marks for the staff . Not sure why the hotel bothers with cooked items at breakfast as they are kept barely lukewarm but the standard pastries etc were fine. The bed was comfortable and the room modern and clean. Would stay here again.
Hotel rooms are a bit small but very clean. The service is excellent. The staff is very helpful. The hotel is located very close to the Old Town. It is a short walk up and if you feel like doing more the piazza de Monaco is also in walking distance.
Staff was very helpful and professional. Breakfast was very good. Rooms are very clean. Windows block out noise very well from the street. Parking was safe and well maintained. Very handy to the old centre as well as to downtown and Piazza de Monaco which was lovely.
It may not be the closest distance to Arezzo centre, but we though it was a lovely hotel. The staff were very attentive. We had bough some wine to sample for my wedding and they provided us with glasses of wine and a bottle opener - didn't mind that we hadn't bought it from them. The breakfast was good. Great range from a cooked breakfast, to yogurts, fresh fruit and cereal. Bed's were comfy and we really appreciated the huge parking that was available.
