I want to thanks all members in this hotel especially the front desk Manager and his professional teem . I advice all tourist people to come and stay in this hote they have clean rooms and very helpful teem also they have excellent location in Aqab and when you go there you must taste their fantactioc cookies

Even though it’s slightly expensive, this is a really nice hotel. The beds are large and comfortable, the television works well, the pool is lovely and the bathrooms are spacious. The welcome cookies are a really nice touch as well.

We stayed 3 nights in a deluxe room and loved it. Of the 5* hotels in Aqaba the DoubleTree has the best location, short walk to restaurants, shops and the market. The room and bathroom were spacious and had everything we needed. Air-conditioning worked flawlessly. Service at the front desk was top level, professional and genuinely friendly at the same time. Good gym with modern equipment. Pool is small but was big enough for us. Very good breakfast and great (paid) massages. Internet has two levels, the free one was quite slow, a bit of a let down in 2019 where you expect fast free internet to be obvious. They have welcome cookies that are out of this world, and here's the tip: Send your child to get more cookies every day. You'll thank me for that. The 'private' beach is a bus ride away in Tala Bay. It costs 9 Dinars for an adult. It's a nice place to spend a few hours. The DoubleTree is not a resort, the pool is small and families with young children will probably not find everything they need here. But if what you want is an excellent hotel with perfect location for exploring Aqaba, look no further.

The hotel is fine, rooms are clean when you ask for a non-smoking room. I got at first a smoking room, which was terrible (smell). The breakfast is ok, but could be much better. Not much fresh food, no fresh orange, bread is not crunchy etc. For a 4-5 star hotel, you could expect a better quality. The receptionists are ok, but couldnt handle our big group. Waiter for a long time. There is much to win in this hotel. About the location: its in the city, not much to do here, apart from going to some shops. If I was you, book an hotel near the coast, like the Mövenpick or something like that. That hotel is really 5-star, the DoubleTree would get 3 stars compared to the Mövenpick.

+ Positives: 1. Location is in the center of Aqaba city, close to all shops, Souqs and services. It was easy to find a barber just crossing the street from the hotel main entrance. 2.Not as pricey as the other hotels. But still.. Some stuff I bought: -2 beers and 1 wine at the Diwan "the bar at the roof" 25jod. -Beer at the room :5 jod. -Cokacola at the room 2jod. -Big hamburger with 3 beers at the pool 19jod. 3. The pool is just what you want, ask the frontdesk for a room on the first floor, its on the same level as the pool for easy lazy access. 4. They have very good cookies "they make them at the Hotel, when you are the front desk look to your right side you will find a small bar where they sell you those amazing cookies. 5. Service was fast but please look at my negative points below. 6. The pool is 1.5m, small but good for a swim, it has sunlight until sunset time, good for a tan. 7. Room is big, the bathroom has a shower and a bathtub with shower, couches, a desk, a big smart TV, two phones, safe, iron and iron bord. 8. The hotel is safe for children, but could be enhanced with a good eye spotting all sharp slippery angles. 9.Wifi was fast. - Negatives: 1. The Hotel looks and feel out dated, they need to reinnovate, and they need new colors, decorations to give it a fresh, clean 2020 look. 2. Tiles in the floor of the room need fixing, they have a crack that you can feel it when you step on the floor barefoot. 3.Genrally the room and especially the bathroom was not super clean, I found some hair (not a pile of hair more like 1 or 2 in the shower, 1 near the sink) blackness in the corners of the bathroom and the room caused by just wiping without thorough cleaning. (You know that feeling when you dont trust its clean so you check everywhere you touch??) 4. The bar on the roof (Al Diwan) was good, a bit overpriced, the singing was annoying (they have live singers) it would be great if a DJ was there instead, with a more youth kinda lounge vibe and not an old cafè Arabic songs kinda vibe. 5. Room service or someone working in the hotel with a room key tried to open our door by mistake without knocking thankfully we had the lock otherwise he could have ended near my bed at (9 in the morning today October 6th 2019). And then apparently he wanted the to enter the other room across the corridor from our room, so he entered and started fixing something to the wall with a drill, which was very annoying to hear. Also you can hear the other room door opening and closing loudley. We were at 109, the sound was coming from 110. 6. No balcony. :( + Positives: 1. The best hotel staff it was a wonderful stay in doubletree by hilton aqaba all staff are the best I dealt with . food was nice . room are clean . WiFi is good . The hotel management was very helpful . Front desk staff also very professional . thanks all

We just came from a 5* hotel in Amman and had a wonderful stay. Arriving here was quite a disappointment. I gave it 4* because of the staff, especially the breakfast staff was very friendly. I have to say that the room was very spacious but very much outdated, not sound proof (you wake up because of the traffic and the call for prayer at 05.00am) but most shocking, so dirty. See photos. Defenitely nog a 5* but at the most a 3*. Breakfast is just OK. No nice fresh cut fruit and please, invest in a better bread toast machine.

We stayed here during our visit to Aqaba, visiting Wadi Rum and Petra. The hotel is far beyond from being a five-star place. It's more of "old glory" in need of some urgent revamping. What surprised me the most is the low level of cleaning standards. Our bathroom and bedroom also are in needed of some maintenance. Not everything is bad yet, but if they don't do anything soon, it can easily become much worse. Some of the stuff are very friendly, others are very indifferent. We had room 317 and the nearby rood and mosque can wake you up if you are a light-sleeper. The swimming-pool area and roof-top are nice. Unsure if I would stay here again if I ever come back.

Top hotel, the service, the team, the food everything was amazing, I enjoyed my time with my whole family and also all the group that were with us enjoyed , I recommend this hotel , it’s in the middle of the town

Very nice hotel. Nice staff, nice rooms and super well located. The pool is more than welcomed and very clean. Can be crowdy sometimes, but it's totally understandable. The parking is safe. Hotel is well located, close to the sea side. We wanted to scuba dive on our stay in Aqaba. And we did, and it was amazing! We went two days in a row with M. Frogman, super close to the hotel. The staff there is knowledgeable and follows PADI requirements. We had a wonderful stay.
