We stayed at the doubletree on our way to wadi rum, having spend the day at Petra the hotel have a very good breakfast & WORTH the money good & central location in Aqaba near to the beach, restaurants & stores.

My friends and I went to Al Diwan for the first time tonight , it was awesome , the view is amazing and breathtaking, Tania the waitress is definitely the best 👍 and the shisha guy was very nice ! Over all the service was great so thank you ❤️

I am not sure if the prices in October were lower but anyway I think the hotel is not overpriced and offer good service & value for the money I have paid. The room was nice and we hade a nice breakfast. Not to forget the good & central location in Aqaba.

We stayed at the doubletree on our way to wadi rum, having spend the day at Petra. This hotel has been voted Jordanian hotel of the year 2016. Due to the short stay I can only review the basic. For example, the bathroom was not 100% clean. The hardware of the room (furniture etc) were a bit overused, shouting in fact that its time to be refurbished. Matress was a bit floppy so you had to place your body diagonally in order to be able to sleep. Other than that, reception staff was efficient and polite and the parking of the hotel efficient as well.

Everything about this hotel is great; the location, the staff, the rooms, the service, .... Tareq at reception was very friendly, quick and efficient and offered us a nice upgrade as there was no non-smoking twin room available. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Wifi works perfectly. The area around the hotel is nice, with many restaurants and shops at walking distance. There is a free shuttle bus between the hotel and Berenice Beach Club and the entrance to this day resort is free for hotel guests. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious.

We visited Al Diwan lounge it's very nice place to spend very nice time with your family, the service was amazing and the food was tasty also the drinks with reach menu also the entertainment during Ramadan month with authentic experiences I love this place The view of the lounge amazing you can see the city of Aqaba and the sea from different locations

Very clean and very nice rooms, good amenities and very helpful staff especially the front office manager, the roof top is very nice place with a nice view to the city but food was not good there, especially the fish and ships was very bad I had stomach pain for two days after eating it

When i first checked in i didn't get my cookie so i was a bit disappointed as i was pretty hungry and looking forward to the doubletree cookie. They made up for it though. The rooms are very big and so are the bathrooms. They are also clean and mine came with a huge balcony that looked towards the sea and swimming pool. Although there was some random dirt parking lot too. The staff were nice and accomodating. The hotel is located right in the heart of downtown near wonderful restaurants and shopping. The security guards are also very nice and the valet people were quick too. I'd definitely stay there again when I go back.

The hotel is a true gem. It is located in the midst of everything. Surrounded by the true local life, coffe shops, restaurants, grocery shops and even a 24/7 bakery (an excellent one) just across the street. Reception processing was swift and very pleasant. We were greeted by Mr. Alaa Shishani, Front Office Manager and his team, with smiling faces and warm chocolate cookies (their custom...). The room we got was in perfect condition, very clean, with a very comfortable bed - facing the sea side and the local port. it had all expected 5 stars amenities (including free water bottles, coffee and tea and free WiFi). Breakfast was, again, as expected from the hotel: enough items to chose from, fresh fruits, good quality and fast service. The hotel has a small pool but, the best, if you are a "sea and beach lover", is to catch the shuttle the hotel suggests and go to the Tala Bay area (20 minutes drive), where you can find a peaceful beach and even several big pools, and during afternoon time, get back to the hotel with the same bus. As planned, the hotel is also a good starting point for a visit to Petra. You can do it with a guide or without, a rented car or just with one of the local Taxis. And, yes: it is a MUST see... The fact the hotel in located so centrally was a real bonus: everything was in walking distance, especially if you are (like us) local gastronomy freaks... We sampled some very good restaurants during our stay - all of them were walking distance. All in all, it was a perfect stay. We'll be back.

Breakfast is bad The rest of the services and location of the hotel are very excellent too The price is a bit high Meals are excellent The health club is excellent The bar clock is bad The design of the hotel is very, very, very, very
