Nice clean hotel with basic but good amenities (though their Internet is a bit slow). Just outside of Oshkosh; quiet and out of the way. The staff is friendly and helped us with a special request, which was much appreciated.
This Hotel is more like the Motels of the 60's Where as the staff is pleasant but the rooms are not at all worth 133.00 a night charge. Sadly uncomfortable bed n sofa, TV remotes didn't work, No pool, No Movie Channels or High Def., Breakfast was just ok at best, even the computer for guests took ten times longer to utilize. I wanted to like this hotel (motel) so badly as the reviews prior were so favorable. So terribly disappointed.
Small, nicely decorated, pretty quiet, decent commons area and free breakfast just south of Oshkosh. Front desk was very helpful. The people who work here really seem to care about the place. We will definitely stay here again!
Food was hot and delicious!!! The room was very quiet and clean and provided a restful night of quality sleep!!! The lobby was welcoming and cozy--very travel let of die nd my!!! Steve, the front desk clerk was most helpful in procuring my WiFi connection!!! The Wolfgang P coffee was a delightful added touch!!!
We stayed one night. Room was clean except for the tub that looked like it needed to be scrubbed. Found out the ring in the tub was most likely due to a very slow draining tub. Hot breakfast was average. We like to sleep with our window open. It was noisy being right off the expressway but if closed the noise diminished nicely. Would stay again.
Very nice lodging and personal, very friendly and priced right! Food is OK and close to EAA facilities. I'm not a big fan of these reports and short and to the point is what I do. So writing long reviews is not my expertise.
We were impressed. This has been one of the cleanest hotels that I have visited. The breakfast had a good variety and was very tasty. There was something for everybody. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. We felt like valued guests. Highly recommended.
We spent two nights - four adults in a two queen room - on a recent family trip. We found it a comfortable stay, keeping in mind that we weren't paying a lot for the rooms. The entry lobby/breakfast area is small with a sitting area by the fireplace as well. Fortunately this is a smaller hotel, so there were no big crowds during breakfast. There is also a bar for evening refreshments with reasonable prices in lieu of any sort of manager's reception I assume. I would grade this between a Hampton and Super 8 in terms of quality and amenities. You do have the advantage that this is new chain, since 2008, so you are dealing with newer properties, this one built in 2011. As described elsewhere, the hotel is tucked away behind a truck stop, but still plenty close to 41 to pickup some traffic noise. We were placed at the west end of the hotel, so really didn't hear anything while sleeping. The rooms were comfortable and we had no trouble with the Wi-Fi. Lots of plug-ins which is always nice and Direct TV (but no HBO/premium) as well. The beds were comfortable and good water pressure in the bathroom. Don't plan on doing too much on the fitness end, especially if someone decides to do some washing (machines in the same, small room). But at least you have both options. You will have a longer drive into Oshkosh versus most of the other chain hotels but in reality probably no more than 5 extra minutes depending upon your destination. Most of the hotel properties in Oshkosh are a little tired, so this is a suitable option for a little less money than the better properties, and in relatively good shape.
Stayed here with my wife on a business trip. Easy to find, quiet even though it is near freeway. Quick easy trip to downtown or other places. Breakfast is adequate and wasn't crowded when we were there. Friendly workers at the hotel. Be sure and visit the waterfront downtown if you have time, nice walk and restaurants.
We stayed here at the end of April for a family party. The hotel is only a few minutes from the busy shopping area but was very quiet and pleasant. The evening staff was very helpful and the hotel was clean and welcoming. Fishing season opener and we did not hear anything from the early risers!! Breakfast was usual hotel breakfast, (cold food on Sunday but thank goodness for microwaves) nice little 'store' inside for incidentals, always hot coffee and tea available. Only suggestion is to bring your own pillows unless you like hard and flat! Clean and comfortable beds though!
