Villa Argiro

A beautifully restored village house, Villa Argiro is a mere 100 m from one of the excellent tavernas that border the shady square in delightful Plaka. High stone walls ensure privacy in the pool and surrounding gardens. The living space is exceptionally spacious, combining modern facilities with lovely stone arches spanning the ceiling. A lovely feature of this Villa is the first floor terrace with sea views between the neighbouring rooftops and gorgeous mountain views.



Location - Plaka

1 km uphill from the sandy sweep of pretty Almyrida, with its tavernas almost on the sand itself, the village of Plaka, has a mini market and some very good tavernas whose tables and chairs spill out onto the square, bringing it to life in the evenings. Villa Argiro is just a short walk distance from this square. For a change of beach scene, the small resort of Kalyves and Georgioupolis are within easy striking distance. Chania Venetian Harbour is 25 kms away and Rethymnon 40 kms.

NOTE: The 7th person can be accommodated on a simple folding bed, suitable for a child up to 10-12 yrs old only.



Housekeeping

Your Villa will be prepared for you on arrival with fresh bath and hand towels and all beds made up.

For stays of 7 nights or more - house towels will be changed every 3 - 4 days.

For stays of 14 nights or more - bed linen will be changed every 7 days.



Pool/beach towels - one per person for the duration of your stay.



Parking - There is parking space for two cars at the rear entrance.

Fantastic Villa in a fabulous location

Villa had everything we needed and was to a high standard. Plaka had more to offer than we expected, loved the Tavernas and the Sports Bar. The Italian was an unexpected bonus! Short walk or drive to Almyrida, 6 euros for a taxi back Will absolutely be visiting again

The stay at Villa Argiro was everything we could've ever wanted! Check-in process was smooth with printable directions and there was a little welcome basket waiting for us. Beds were comfortable and walking distance to some great restaurants in Plaka. Best part of this place was the outdoor areas with a very nice pool, patio, and balcony with great views! Thank you for your great hospitality!

As a family of 5, the villa was amazing, enough space for everyone to enjoy, the beds where so comfortable and we even got to watch the sunset from the top balcony. It’s a shame there isn’t a proper shower upstairs as it was too hot to enjoy the jacuzzi bath

Great relaxing stay.

Great house in the centre of Plaka with 5-6 restaurants with 2 min walk. 10 minute walk to beaches and loads of beach side bars and restaurants. Houses is lovely 3 out side eating areas. Roof top terrace with sea view. Would recommend free lance holidays as well.

Beautiful house with swimming pool, central in a lovely village. Plenty of choice for restaurants and bars and good local supermarkets. Great to have dish washer and washing machine pods provided. Cleaning service excellent. Easy parking. Wrap around outside area and upstairs veranda means you can find the sun or shade at any time of day. Our 2nd visit and we will return. A hands free shower needs to be implemented

Spacious villa, great pool and outside areas. Nice village location with plenty of tavernas and supermarkets. Nice beaches down the hill but you really need a car to get back from the beach unless you're good at climbing! The garden would be improved with underplanting or grass under the trees and shrubs as in the pictures. The bare soil was not very attractive

Proximity to the Town. The sun terrace. Air con in the lounge, it was a struggle to use it in the heat. Chairs on the upstairs balcony should be supplied. The grass wa never cut so if we had more guests the outside space would of been a problem.

Fantastic villa in beautiful village

This is our first holiday with Freelance Villas and they have been excellent from the start. Extremely helpful on villa choice for mobility reasons and help support my parents on their return with all extra paperwork during the pandemic. The villa is beautiful, so much outside space, fantastic views from the two terraces upstairs, two area outside also. The owner was there to meet us, a welcome pack with essentials provided. We’ve stayed in a lot of places in Crete but this has been the best villa, we hope to return. Perfect thank you
