I wanted to be near the train station as I was traveling throughout Belgium by train so this was perfect. The room has excellent sound proofing which I didn't appreciate (as much) until my hotels after this didn't have sound proofing. The room has everything I look for in terms of cleanliness, coffee/tea maker, big towels, blackout shades, good sheets and mattress. Staff was friendly and efficient in answering my questions. I had one breakfast. The breakfast room is very big and beautiful. The quality of breakfast was fine and plenty but I am not the best judge as I don't care for buffets. The tip here is make sure you order anything special from the staff because that is where the excellent items are. I ordered pancakes and bacon and they were both great. Much better than the offerings at the buffet. Not sure why they do this and only reason I even knew was the kids at the next table kept getting numerous helpings of the pancakes! I only had one breakfast because there was no mask requirements in Antwerp and there were just too many people in the breakfast room for my liking. As a traveler, the last thing I wanted was to be sick on my trip and have to quarantine as Belgium makes you test on landing and day 7.
