Excellent & Recommended
White City Pension and a family-run business. The hosts are incredibly nice and helpful. I have been to Antalya 4 times and this is by far the best value accommodation I have stayed in. I had a double-aspect room that was bright, clean and minimal in design. The bed was comfortable with adequate sheets and a blanket.
No room TV or fridge. But the wifi was excellent and I streamed everything. There is a communal fridge and a TV lounge.
The bathroom is ‘wetroom’ style. Meaning there is no show curtain and the shower is the old-style cord type. The hand basin is small but that is a common theme in the places I stayed before.
A couple of nights I had a mosquito that liked the take chunks out of me, but the host bought me a mosquito cream and that problem was gone. You can get mosquito spray cheaply in the shops. There is a nice garden where you can smoke, eat or chill out and a beautiful dog called Hector.
There is a nightclub/pub close by that plays music until 1 am (ish). I had earplugs so no problem. Anyway, it was not that loud. It's in Old Town and in one direction it’s 6 minute's walk from the harbour. In another direction, it’s a 6-minute walk from a main street from which you can walk north, east or west to almost all of the interesting parts of Antalya.
It’s a Pension, not a hotel, so If you need clean towels, more toilet paper or anything just ask and you shall receive. It’s a definite 5 stars from me.
