Pegasos World Hotel - All Inclusive4.0 out of 5.0

We stayed at pegasos world for 2 weeks in August. We stayed in a family suite with balcony, the room was fine, clean, clean towels daily we had no problem with it. The hotel and grounds are beautiful the staff are constantly cleaning, gardening, collecting rubbish they work HARD! The pool is fantastic there is plenty of sun loungers to go around no need too get up early if you don't want to but people do it's quite relaxed. The beach is lovely and literally a 30 second walk away from the pool. The waterpark is great good choice of slides. The food is absolutely fantastic! I have never had such delicious food on an all inclusive holiday ever! that is an absolute winner for us I can't believe they cater for such a vast amount of people and manage to do such a great job. There is a huge variety and even the most fussy eaters could find something they like. The waiting staff are friendly and attentive, Muhsin in the restaurant especially looked after us he was a joy to see always had a smile and extremely attentive would always make sure we had everything we needed. The bar staff are friendly and always smiling they work really hard their whole shift they never stop serving people. Ebo, Bilal and Ali were fantastic they looked after us extremely well we were always greeted with smiles and they remember what you had 3 lovely lovely guys really a credit to the hotel. We were so impressed with the place we would go back in a heartbeat and we are not ones for going back to a place twice BUT this place has really won us over. The entertainment is good it's a shame that the teenagers have to be 16 to get involved with a lot of the activities during the day. The arcade is good my son and his friend enjoyed it. Now just a couple of gripes; the shop is absolutely EXTORTIONATE!! there are no prices on anything! We paid €35 for 1 pair of goggles and a football disgusting that they charge people that amount for cheap tat. My advice would be make sure you buy and take everything you need or a short walk away there are local shops which you pay the same as a local person. DO NOT BUY TOBACCO! it was sold to us under the pretence that it was real and it was fake we returned it with no problem only to be told we could buy the real one for €15 we had payed €10 for the fake one which we did not know was fake had we been informed OBVIOUSLY we would buy the real stuff. We reported it to public relations as we were very angry that in the grounds of the hotel you would expect it to be a safe place to buy tobacco products. Anyway we had a meeting with the management and they did remove it all and handled the situation very well we were happy with the outcome. Gaby was brilliant. You do get the hard sell for photos and spa which does get annoying when you're on holiday you just want to relax. If only the spa would give you the offer of a Turkish bath at a good price on your first day more people would book, when they come at you with a €140 (family of 3) on your first day that could be a bit portion of someones budget and less likely to book it. Anyway other than that we had a fantastic time and highly recommend going to pegasos world you won't be disappointed.
This is my honest review of a 2-week holiday in August 2019. Check in on arrival was quick and easy. Arrived early hours, given sandwiches as a snack (OK not the best but filled a hole and was a nice thought.) Taken to block 4, room was perfect. Stayed in 2 bed deluxe which was a great size with 2 teenagers. Room cleaned every day and topped up with fresh bottles of water in the fridge, appreciated having cold water in room. Room was in a quiet location and honestly cannot fault it. The Pool is enormous. Plenty of room and sunbeds for everyone regardless of what time of day you get there. The pool is set in three different areas. Children's area, shallow pool, pirate ship and little slides. Quieter areas, not as loud with music but still plenty of room. Main zone with music and bars close by. Pool area clean and lifeguards are on duty all day. Perfect for all ages and tastes. Water slides are great for the whole family. I've never been to a water park with no queues before, it was fab. Lifeguards are always ensuring safety. Area clean, snack bar close by for burgers, nuggets, pizza etc. Restaurant has plenty of seating to cater for everyone, we were always seated without having to wait in busy times. Meal times could chaotic however this is to be expected in such a large resort,( If you don't like people go smaller or to a villa) I struggle to see how anyone can go hungry here, there is so much choice to suit all dietary needs. I have a veggie in our party, and she ate very well. Themed nights every night ensured variety. Bars offered all the usual drinks and cocktails. Waiter service in the evenings, if you give a little tip your glass will never be empty! Beach was gorgeous, be aware the sand will burn your toes!!!! shoes are essential. The current could get a little strong at times. again, lifeguards are always around. There are beach sports available, Jet ski, parasailing etc, however they are very costly, and they are not that interested in negotiating. my advice, go to Side, more competition ensures better prices. We had a Turkish bath whilst here, it was lovely. Do be prepared for the up sale though, a simple no works if not interested. The spa team and the photographers walk around the pool during the day, they can be annoying, but I found a polite 'No' works well. That said if you do want either they will negotiate very well, so get haggling!! Shop on site is a disgrace. Nothing is priced and it is beyond expensive. I wanted a small bottle of sun cream, 35 Euro!! This I believe should be addressed by the hotel, there property, they should have some influence. Walk 15 mins to the village and you will find pharmacy and various gift shops for all you have forgotten or need at a fraction of the price. My only other negative is the entertainment team. Both the daytime and evening entertainment was the worst I have ever seen. A lack of activities and enthusiasm. Travelling in a party with age range 12 to 20 all sociable and ready for fun, who were less than enthused by the very poor offerings. We are very capable of entertaining ourselves and had the best fun doing so, but if you want to be entertained this is not for you. Massive let down in such a big family resort. Please look at your competitors for inspiration Pegasos. We had a fantastic 2-week holiday and overall it was 5 stars. I have given 4 stars with the hope that someone will listen to feedback regarding entertainment.
Just returned home, myself, my fiancee, 20 year old daughter-with 20 year old boyfriend, 16 year old daughter, 12 year old son, 18 year old son and his 18 year old friend, from an amazing holiday. The best pool ever - a huge sprawling pool complete with an island with cocktail bar connected by bridges. I think at times the lifeguards could be more lenient with pool antics - but I understand they have to be cautious with health and safety issues. It had a very varied and great playlist pumping out - albeit at various volumes. The leader\MC of the entertainment team was great and a very amusing man. The surrounding gardens were a joy to walk around and the sandy beach was a dream - I regret not spending more time there.. The waterpark is a great extra, adding to the options - everyone enjoyed multiple goes on most of the slides. There was a lot less queuing than you'd expect with an independent waterparks. Due to financial restraints we could not do as many activities outside of the hotel, only exiting the hotel 5 times - BUT this did not spoil our time has the resort itself had so many things to do - the size of the pool meant we could choose different sun bed places every day and experience the different sections of the pool. The food was varied and vary tasty - and everything you'd expect at an all inclusive and could be very busy at times - we have a vegetarian daughter who never complained. The majority of the staff were great, from the bar staff, the waiters and the cleaners etc. They worked tirelessly in some extremely hot and humid weather. Four of us had a deluxe family room and it was very spacious and perfect. Whilst daughter and boyfriend - Son and his mate, had standard rooms that were also very good. The only complaint worth mentioning was the additional costs with pure orange juice and ice cream etc. And overpriced/expensive shops, photo services, spa and water sports - I really think more money could be made if the prices were a LOT more reasonable. But, all in all a very perfect holiday and we did not want to leave.
Arrived late on a tuesday night after no drama's and a fairly quick cab ride from the airport. Room was ample and suited us perfectly for our ten nights, we were 2 big ones and 2 little ones, not so little 14 and 15 year old boys. After trying to set WR unpacking our stuff we had a quick reccy of the resort bars and pool complex, wow - heaven. The place was grand on first impressions and after we became more familiar with the bar staff we really enjoyed our time by both pool - during the day and bar during the night. The weather was top notch- when isn't it in Turkey. Did white water rafting and the pirate boat/market/waterfall excursions but not through the reps. Great family holiday and couldn't help making friends at the bar, english mostly and some russians. The staff really can't do enough for you with some great touches, disco on the beach for late drinks - free til 1am I think, foam party in the pool which the kids loved. Next time we will try the infamous red party on the beach. Thanks Pegasos World xxx
That was the second time we stayed in this hotel. It was good stay this summer, we got perfect room as Mervan promised us but the bathroom need to renovate. The quantity of the food was too much but the quality was not good. It could be better (delicious) if they care of the food specially Turkey is the most famous country with delicious food. The disappointed issue in this stay was ... nobody informed us about including of free dinner at La Carta restaurant, we knew about it by mistake. The reception should inform us at checking in. The most thing that I loved this time was Bayram festival, everything was wonderful.. I wish really to be there in every Bayram time.
Just arrived back from an amazing stay here! The hotel is massive with large pools and a vast private beach. Rooms The rooms were big enough for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. We requested mattress toppers as the beds are quite hard and that was no problem. Bathroom was of a decent size but the walls are really thin so you can hear your neighbours have a sing a long in the shower! We kept the bathroom door shut a lot of the time so that they didn't hear every word of every conversation! The balcony was of a good size too. All rooms had aircon that worked very well. The cleaners were very good and they came everyday bar Monday because thats normally their day off - you can have them cleaned on Monday but you have to ask. Pool The pools are enormous! We had sunbeds in the pool next to the activity/entertainement pool connected to the pirate pool. The entertainment pool is where all of the pool games go on and sunbeds go quick around there if you go in peak times. Only problem that we had with the pools was the fact that at least every other day a pool was cornered off because of a CODE BROWN. Luckily, it was normally in the pirate/baby pool but towards the end of our holiday (end of august/start of september) there was beginning to be regular occurrences of some of the main pools being closed off due to CODE BROWNS. A few tips for the pool: 1. YOU DO NOT NEED TO GET UP RIDICULOUSLY EARLY FOR SUNBEDS UNLESS IT IS PEAK SUMMERTIME! So many people complain about there not being enough sunbeds but we were a party of 8 and one of us would be up at 6:30/7 to get all 8 sunbeds and there were plenty! The entertainment pools sunbeds are usually filled up by about 7/7:30 but that was because we went in the school holidays so other than in the holidays i doubt it will be filled up. 2. Don't hang onto the bridges going across the pools because the lifeguards for some reason don't let you hang onto it and they'll blow their whistle. 3. Dint swim under the restaurants that go over the pool because yet again the lifeguards don't like it. Restaurant The food was amazing! always something for everyone! Outside, there is always pizza and chips and nuggets on offer and inside is a range of foods including allergy friendly. Every night was a different theme and it was listed what each theme was just outside the restaurant. If you are a large party, i would reccommend that you speak to a waiter in black uniform. We did so and they reserved a table for us every night. A La Carte We loved the Italian restaurant but there was also a turkish and asian to choose from too. We were told that we could only visit each one once but we spoke to guest relations and we visited the italian twice and didn't go to the Asian. The only problem that we had with the restaurants is the fact that they wasn't very good with my dairy intolerance. All desserts contained lactose and even after speaking to guest relations asking for dairy free ice cream to be taken to the restaurant, i still managed to end up with a fruit salad both times. Water Park It was great! The kids absolutely loved it and visited everyday. Entertainment Our first few days were a bit dry with no real interaction with the team but after we went to archery, we met Andrey and Sabina! They were amazing! Both really funny, friendly and outgoing. They would often try to encourage us to join in with pool games which was on after archery but we didn't go until our last day and OMG i wish we had done it sooner! It was hilarious! We loved every minute of it :) My brother did football most days with Maksym (Max) and he was incredible too. Not all of the kids understood english so he would speak to them in their language and in english as well. He also made it fair by making sure that not all of the 'big kids' were on the same team. The evening entertainment was good around the pool bar - we never went to the ampitheatre in the evenings. The entertainment team would run a range of activities each night on there like karaoke, family games night etc. I really can't thank Andrey enough for making our holiday full of fun, laughter and for all of his work, he really is a credit to the team! All Inclusive Ice Cream Parlour. This is located behind the kids snack bar and is quite hidden away as the hotel would rather you spend money on the ones conveniently based by the pool side. Lactose intolerant problem When we arrived, we didn't bother to make a big deal about my intolerance as i thought it would be easy to get dairy free foods but with the ice cream parlour i was proved wrong. First of all, the wouldn't give me diary free ice cream unless i had an allergy card from guest relations. This was quick and easy to sort out and wasn't a real hassle to get. Then when i had it and went to get ice cream, they tried to tell me that it was lactose free even when the manager had told me otherwise. After a quick chat with the manager he to the people working the place to give the ice cream and he explained that it was dairy free. After, it was no problem. This is my honest review on this amazing hotel and i am happy to answer any questions about it.
We all had a great holiday at this hotel. It is spotless and the staff work very had to make our stay great. We especially want to thank the bar staff, especially Tugray the manager was very friendly and helpful. The maintenance people who look after the grounds do a fantastic job keeping this hotel beautiful. Would definitely visit again and recommend.
Just returned from a magical holiday to Pegasos World, from the moment we arrived at the minute we left we were treated like royalty. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself is vast with a massive swimming pool and private beach (which it shares with sea turtles). I have broken down the review into parts and left the niggles at the bottom. Rooms Big enough for a family of 4 including 2 teenagers. Fair size balcony, Good size bathroom, excellent water pressure in the shower, walls a bit a thin as you hear the next room having their shower. Good Aircon, in fact maybe too cold, but, atfer retuning it and getting extra blankets all was fine. The large double bed was comfortable but the kid's beds were a bit lumpy. Maid service every day except Monday unless requested. Resturant. This is very important to my family as my daughter has Celiac Disease and struggles to find anything to eat whilst on holiday. At Pegasos World resort this was not a problem. From Day 1 after talking to customer relations we were introduced to Turgay Onder (Asst Food and Beverage Manager). He made it his mission to make sure my daughter had everything she wanted to eat from gluten-free waffles and pancake in the morning to Gluten-free pizza's, Pasta, chicken, jacket potatoes, fries in the evening. I have never seen my daughter eat so much on holiday for many years. I really cannot thank him enough for what he did. He even arranged a Gluten-free picnic to take to the airport as he knew that there would be nothing for her to eat there. Because of my daughter allergies, we were assigned our waiter for the 2 weeks we were there. Turgay arranged for us to be looked after by a young man called Mehmet Nane, he was amazing, greeted us with a smile when we arrived in the morning and had the same smile when he greeted us for our evening meal and showed us to our table. Brought through my daughter's meal, made sure we had drinks. I cannot fault him. Food in the restaurant The food was excellent, many different choices from steaks and chicken to kebabs and pizza. Every night had a theme, Turkish one night, fish another, Mexican, Italian, even roast lamb, and Yorkshire puddings. Our first night they were cooking beef tenderloin on massive BBQ's. Always something to eat, always tasty and always a plentiful supply. But be warned The restaurant gets very busy if you want a quiet dinner go early anything past 7 pm and it's like a rugby scrum, and this is when people start pushing in. The snack bar-restaurant serves excellent food at lunchtime for those who only want a lite bite or salad. The Hotel also has 3 La Carte restaurants which you can use once, Italian, Turkish, and Asain. We only ate in the Italian due to my daughter's allergies. They made her a special menu. I can safely say the Italian is delicious. Pool One word "Massive" with 4 zones, First zone as we named it is the waterfall. An area near the waterpark that had fountains in the pool, great fun for the children to swim through. The second zone is the entertainment zone, this is where the mid-day pool games are played, beware it can get very noisy around this part. The third zone is the quiet zone, this is where my family stayed. Forth Zone is the kiddies pool where the pirate ship is. Unfortunately, this is also the zone that had to be closed off the most as the little kiddies had accidents in the pool or "code browns" if you get the gist. **First gripe** The pool has 2 bridges that go over it and about 4 terraces which jut out in the pool. The lifeguards do not want anyone swimming under the terraces, so every time someone goes near them then they are constantly blowing their whistles at them. Could I please ask the hotel that if you don't want people swimming under the terraces then close them off and put up clear signage instead for constant whistleblowing. Water Park Great Fun, my son had a ball. Well worth the money. Expertly run, well guarded. Opens at 10am close at 5pm. I went on a couple but I'm not as young as I used to be and the stairs killed me. Entertainment This is the only thing I found a bit flat. Not really to our liking. The entertainment in the evening is in two places, the first part is in the amphitheater where the kid's disco is held followed by a dance or acrobatic show. The second part is on the stage between the 2 outside bars. This is where the flaw is because if you went to see the show at the amphitheater then you will not get a seat at the bars to see the second show, and if you save your seat at the bars you miss the show at the amphitheater. That is a bit of poor thinking in my opinion. During the day there is a full program to keep you amused from water polo to archery and from football to water aerobics. Once a week they do put on a spectacular show on a Tuesday, one week its the red party where they encourage everyone to wear red and have a big disco round the pool, that was good fun, and on the second week they have an evening foam party on beach which was also great fun, again be warned the foam party is very wet, do not wear your expensive clothing and do not take your expensive phones or cameras to the beach they will get wet. Bars We had a brilliant time at the Long John Silver Bar with Ali and Bilal every night. These guys work exceptionally hard, most times they would wait on your tables but when they get busy it wasn't really fair so you went and got your drinks yourself. Both outside bars close at 12, the lobby bar closes at 1 am, there is a night club (I never went) this is all-inclusive until about 1 am after that you have to pay for your drinks. Cleaners Work so hard keeping the whole restore spotless up to and beyond the bars closing. Sweeping paths, moping toilets. Always polite and working with a smile. Now Come the Gripes I understand that the following gripes are nothing to do with the hotel, these are concessions that rent space from the hotel but I feel it's only right that the hotel knows and maybe do something about it. Supermarket Grossly overpriced, buy with caution. I brought a 50-gram jar of coffee, a bottle of conditioner and a small bag of Haribo's. The total price of the purchase was 84lr which according to my exchange rate roughly works out to be £13.48. Nothing is priced so effectively they can charge what they want. People we met were sold fake tobacco as well. If you want a fair supermarket then there is one about a 15min walk from the hotel. Photographers Constantly bothering you around the pool. They tried to take pictures of my sixteen-year-old daughter without her or our permission until my wife stepped in. Again, people, we were talking to agreed to have their photos done with them when they went to view them was told that the package would cost them 400 euro's(that is not a typo). Disgusting Then you still have the Tattoo parlor, water sports, beauty treatment, hairdresser all coming round the pool when all you want to do is relax. I believe this is a fair and true review, I will be happy to answer any questions. Finally, we are looking to book again for next year because the place is brilliant.
Wow! What a fantastic time we had at Pegasos World. The complex is huge and from the minute we checked in, staff could not have worked harder to make our stay fabulous. Our comfortable and roomy family suite with balcony was on the top floor of block 3, which was convenient for everything. It was clean and comfortable with an excellent shower. The buffet restaurant was air conditioned (although could get a little warm at times) and, although it was clearly busy as it was the middle of August, it never felt too crowded and we had very few problems with people pushing in. The choice of food was varied (if a bit different to our tastes at times- it is Turkey and not the UK) and everything was well prepared and tasty. The puddings and cakes were amazing. My fussy 8 year old always had plenty to eat and even tried a few new things. The waiters and cleaning staff were brilliant and especially Mithat who was our waiter most of the time. Breakfast was excellent too. Around the swimming pool area were loads of sunbeds. If you want one right by the pool, yes, you probably have to get up early but we like to be under the shade and there were plenty of sunbeds under the big canopies. The only mildly annoying thing was that people shove their front row sunbeds really close together making it difficult to get to the pool at times. Perhaps the hotel could look at setting aside places near the ladders which are sunbed free (maybe with different coloured flooring?) The other issue I noticed with the pool is that it is not accessible for people with limited mobility. We thought about bringing my dad and I was glad we didn't. There are steps into the pool at one end but one of them is very deep and difficult to get back up. I ended up getting up on to it on my knees. I'm sure the hotel have a way of helping people into the pool but the pool is so big, it could easily be amended to have a slope or some more gentle steps. Waterpark was excellent. Again, even though it was busy there were rarely massive queues. Beach is lovely but water is a little deep- nothing the hotel can do about that but there were lots of lifeguards on duty for peace of mind. The navigator snack bar had a super range of food throughout the day and for quick snacks there was the moby dick bar. We never made it to cake time! Night time entertainment was excellent. My son loved the multilingual mini disco and the gold and fire and Alice in wonderland show were fantastic! The entertainment team were so enthusiastic but not too in your face or pushy! Reception staff were brilliant. They sorted us a late checkout no problems (we only wanted 3pm) and were polite and kind. I would highly recommend a holiday at Pegasos World. It is a superb family place with plenty to do.
So sad to be back home after our amazing holiday last week. Travelled with children aged 10 and 7 and we all had a fantastic time. The hotel has an army of staff tending the beautiful gardens and keeping the grounds clean and well maintained. We had a spacious, bright and airy 2 bedroom family room. The pool area is huge and split into various sections, some with activities and others more peaceful. I was down before 7am putting towels out so I could sit appropriately to be able to watch my younger child in the pool, but there were always sun loungers, plenty for everyone, if you didn’t mind where you sat. 7am was also a lovely and cool time to go for a walk on the beautiful beach which goes on for miles. Take aqua shoes as there some pebbles on the high tide line. I can also recommend the banana boat and para sailing - great fun, professional service and reasonably priced. The water park was fab - we all loved it! My youngest was 120 cm tall, so got on all the rides in a double ring with an adult. The rules say no under 10 years for some of the rides, but as long as children were tall enough and with an adult the age limit wasn’t enforced, much to my son’s joy! Mini disco was super every night. The entertainment staff were hard working and really dedicated. The professional shows afterwards were a bit hit and miss. This is the only criticism I can find. We ate in the buffet restaurant. Lots of choice, good quality food and my fussy youngsters always found something they liked. The waiters all work super hard - please tip them! Our waiter Ilyas made us feel like royalty. He decorated a table for us each evening, chatted to the kids, refilled our drinks before we had finished them. Such a hard working, professional, polite and welcoming member of staff. We will never forget him. Enjoy a wonderful staff here - we cant wait to go back.
