I can use only one word to discribe this hotel and it is "excellent". The comfortable room, the lavish breakfast, the modern lobby and conference rooms. Everything in this hotel is new, modern and shiny :)
I stayed at this hotel for a week and they were excellent. When I got to Turkey my luggage didn't arrive and they were so on board and did everything to make me happy. Since I don't speak Turkish I had them call the airlines and ask about my luggage. They kept up on this and gave me an update every few hours. Amazing staff!
Located in the center of Ankara, this 4 star hotel offers 5 star service. Excellent bar area, outside areas for eating and relaxing and panoramic views from each room. In-room food service was quite enjoyable as well.
Special thanks to reception staff Mr.Kaan & Mr.Samet coz of their helpful arrangement for any requirement. Location is great and close to central with easy access to many embassies shopping restaurants and more... Rooms are clean with good size and comfortable bed. Breakfast is okay. Quality of service is totally fair.
I stayed @ The Sheraton Ankara for 2 nights and 3 days for business purposes, I requested for a non-smoking room and I was provided one at the 6th floor with city view. It was a comfortable stay! Plus: - Comfort - Soft spoken & helpful staff - Amenities - Close to top restaurants Minus: - Distance from Airport - Expensive in-room beverages - Only one bottle of complimentary water!
I stayed 2 nights in this hotel. This is not my first Sheraton experience. I had loved their hotel in Dubai for instance. The target audience of this hotel is clearly upper class. The location, building and view are nice. Whatever view you can have in Ankara! The room needs definitely some renovation. It is very classically designed. And I have to say that it is high time to change those carpets that is very ugly and give an impression that it is not clean. When I was booking, I had considered that wifi was included as other hotels were charging for the service. I opted for Wifi and not for the breakfast:) When I was checking in, receptionist had to change his computer three times as the system was frozen. Overall, I am convinced that the price is quite high. In Ankara, you can find cheaper options, I believe.
I was stayed here for 3 nights on business. It is excellent. Lovely communal areas, great conference facilities, and a room that was compact, but beautifully decorated, comfortable and ultra clean. I couldn't fault the room (and I am hard to please). The bed was really comfortable too. However, I stayed on one of the executive floors, so not sure of the difference between an executive and a standard. It is worth paying a little more for the executive level though - you get access to the level 20 lounge, which we found excellent to retire to for post-meeting discussions for a few complimentary drinks and snacks - and a lovely view of Ankara. There are a couple of restaurants but we only tried the bistro. It was fine rather than excellent, so dinner was over the road at the Salt Bae steak place (Nusr), where the beef is to die for. The breakfasts were, however, exellent, with a large array of hot and cold food on offer. I'd happily stay again.
16 liras for a water from the minibar!!! It's about 1 lira outside. It's totally unacceptable. Breakfast was good, rooms are decent but it was a shock at the checkout. Choose another hotel chain that doesn't rip you off.
Centrally located, good hotel. Nice rooms, good breakfast, great gym, nice pool. Staff is attentive to detail as well. A couple of nice restaurants within the hotel, as well as restaurants in walking distance.
Great hotel and location. Great executive lounge. A lot of stuff with in walking distance. Turkey has some very good restaurants and very friendly people. Rooms were really nice. This is my second time at this same hotel.
