When checking in, the receptionist noticed there were 3 of us and I had to confirm we had a triple room booked. He said the booking platform had not provided them with the correct information. This is clearly an issue which needs rectified for future guests. An extra bed had to be brought to the room. It was brought into the room carried by the porter in one hand - it was so light because it was a camp bed and the mattress was so thin. This hotel should not be advertising triple rooms if they cannot provide proper beds for 3 people in a room.
We were told to scan to pay for car parking yet our friend was asked for her car registration - a very inconsistent service!
The shower in our room did not change temperature and was so scolding that we could not use it on our first morning. We were told it could not be fixed as the maintenance man worked Monday - Friday. Eventually, after asking twice, someone came to look at the shower and fix it. The first receptionist we spoke to did not do anything to help but thankfully the receptionist in the evening took the time to look at it.
Also, on arrival, we were given half a toilet roll and had to ask for more. We only had 2 towels and asked for a 3rd. The 3rd was taken away by housekeeping and we had to ask for another towel once again on the second evening.
This may sound like we were being fussy but it was really just a bit of a hassle and not a comfortable stay.
