Judging from their fascination with old Hollywood movies gaudily painted all over their dark and musty ballroom, I'm betting their rooms are below-par as well. Good thing I followed my gut and had a nicer, more modern room in a nearby hotel.

This was a replacement accomodation given by Agoda as the original hotel that we booked was damaged from the earthquake. I didn't had the time to look for another hotel because they emailed us the same day we are flying out of Italy. So i just accepted the altenative option hotel. We arrived at the Stotsenberg Hotel Clark and I must say we are completely disgusted and unsatisfied to this property option. Toilet needs alot of improvements, you will hesitate to use it. Not even a paper roll was placed in the toilet, housekeeping said it is out of stock. Everything is old and dirty. Super ugly and used bath towels. Lift was not working as we have so many bags 2 staff needs to go up and down twice to carry our things. All the furnitures are stained specially the sofa, even the beddings are extremely old. 2 staff seating under the stairs were just playing with their phones, very unprofessional. Breakfast was ok. We decided to just check out and ask agoda for the remaining 3 nights for a refund. It was too uncomfortable for us.

Pls think twice as this hotel is under renovation, we chose this as it is closest to airport. The rooms were clean though the restaurant is not at all good. Their Massage services are excellent, my wife and i were very satisfied.

We love the room- huge (Executive suite) as well as the bathroom. With separate dining area and living room. We like the interior. But..looks neglected, badly needs maintenance. Almost everything in the room- old and worn out. And the beddings, doesn't smell clean. With complete toiletries, bottled water and coffee though. The whole facilities are poorly maintained. Huge swimming pool, with lifeguard and towels available by the pool. Sadly, the pool water is dirty and needs vacuuming. The elevator doesn't close smoothly, it creates eerie sound. Food- quite expensive, but taste good, except congee. But they have nice and accomodating servers. Hotel staffs are kind and helpful.

We stayed for one night at the Stotsenburg, in order to catch an early flight from Clark and although there was nothing special about the hotel it was fine one night. Unfortunately as we arrived late the restaurant and bar had already closed which would have been good if they had stayed open for us, it wasn't that late- 9pm.

I left my wallet at Central garden. I realized after an hour that I left my wallet when I was already at our hotel room. I went back to the Central garden to locate my wallet but the guards told me that they have already surrendered it to the front desk. I went to the front desk to get my wallet back, the receptionists returned it back to me. I am very happy that the staffs of hotel stotsenberg are honest and does not take advantage of the personal belongings of their guests.

Booked the hotel for a brief staycation with my family but it was a stressful experience. Hotel is poorly maintained, rooms had an old, musty smell and beds smelled like it was peed on. Tissue box was already half empty, which compromises hygiene/cleanliness. A kettle was provided but looked like it hasnt been cleaned since its dispatch. Phone was sticky and had pungent odor. So sad to see very poor maintenance for a well thought of hotel design/concept.

front desk women are not friendly they hardly smile. even their house staff do not even greet the guests when they see them in the lobby. management should have a training for their staff. this is the first time i've been to a hotel where the staff are not smiling at all!! bathroom tiles should be scrubbed well as there re stains. rooms need refurbishing.

Now I know why this hotel has a low overall rating. We booked 2 deluxe rooms for our family's stay cation during a long weekend. Security at the entrance was tight, although the guards were courteous. The parking area was huge and secured. We arrived 30 minutes before check-in but the receptionist told us to wait until check-in time (2 PM) before she would check us in, even though she was doing nothing. After checking in, nobody offered to carry our bags nor showed us to our rooms and we had to find our own way to our building (there are 4 buildings - A to D). Our room was quite small, with 2 single beds, a personal ref, 32-inch TV with limited cable channels, a desk and a large wardrobe cabinet. WiFi inside the room is very erratic and slow. There was no safety deposit box. The split-type air con though was comfortably cool however. The rooms really needs a complete overhaul. Some of the floorboards of our room were split open on some points. The bathroom mirror and ceiling are stained. The hot and cold shower though was OK. Even the pillows and linens are old and had a musty smell. The bed was a bit stiff but otherwise acceptable. We were given free basic (but incomplete) toiletries - no shampoo and conditioner. Even the toilet paper has been used already (half its size). Also the facial tissue box is half full (used). The facilities of the hotel though are nice - large and clean swimming pool with a lifeguard, although the slides were not functioning. There is also a gym with complete work-out equipment. Our accommodation came with free buffet breakfast with a fairly decent menu, although not child friendly - no hot choco, juice, or cereals for the kids. This hotel could have been a very nice hotel, with its very nice facade, a sprawling well manicured inner garden park with a fountain, a very nice swimming pool layout - but sad to say they are all in disrepair and in bad shape. A total and complete renovation is badly needed that would probably bring back its glory days and would make this a very elegant and ritzy hotel. Because of the cheap price and a nice pool which our kids enjoyed, perhaps we will be back again some day.

We stayed in this hotel for the last leg of the Petron Motorsport Philippines..held last Oct 19-21 at Clark Speedway. The hotel is huge, it has a big parking lot and is quite old already. Check in was fast and we were given a room just near the restaurant. It was in building A. Room was nice, although dimly lit..bathroom was ok although old. There was room service and prcies of food was average..not too expensive although limited. We availed of the free breakfast, nothing to rave about but it was fine and adequate. They have a small reataurant despite the hugeness of the hotel. The pool was very big and nice and they provide a gym for the guests. The staff were very friendly and they always went out of their way to help their guests. Each of them greeted me everytime I passed by. Now that is a plus..well maybe except for the guard who always inspects your bags. It is ok when you first enter the hotel and about to check in..BUT WHEN YOU ARE ALREADY A GUEST OF THE HOTEL, while going back and forth from the hotel to the racetrack, it is somewhat annoying when he wants to inspect your personal bag everytime you enter the hotel. Price of the rooms are affordable. Despite this, we still gave the Silver to Stotsenberg because of itslocation, its staff, its amenities and its rooms. Take a bow!!!
