This is the perfect location being so close to Clemson’s campus and across from Lake Hartwell. COVID precautions limit its ability to serve hot breakfasts and allow guests too congregate but, other than these small accommodations, it’s great.

Everything old. Needs refurbishing. From the tv to lighting to the bathroom plumbing. Everything is very dated.

Clean rooms, ample parking, close to shopping, university, food. The entire staff was very plesant, helpful with directions, eatery recomendations, etc. Excellent breakfast choices. Room door stuck. Hard to operate. Otherwise, very nice stay.

Everything was exactly the way a first class hotel should be which this hotel is. It lived up to the Hilton tradition in every way. It is located in Clemson which was my destination.

The trains run all night - so noise is an issue. The facilities are clean and nice. Staff is exceptional! Great proximity to the University and restaurants, etc. Would stay here again.

Great spot for Clemson visit. Plan to stay there again

With a complimentary breakfast, clean rooms, and friendly staff, it's hard have an issue with this hotel.

Prices are overrated. For the price we paid, the hotel was nothing "spectacular"

Needed a clean, comfortable hotel for a one night stay. Hotel was great. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean room. Plenty of room and amenities. Free snacks and tea was welcome after a long day of travel. Good breakfast. One negative: Scrambled eggs tasted and felt like cardboard. I stuck with cereal, fruit, and a danish.

Great nights sleep! Great location!! Very clean!!!

Visited Clemson University. Convenient location - near restaurants-Nice welcome-Clean and comfortable room-Nice breakfast-Nicely furnished-the only thing missing was a newspaper-none available at hotel

We are very discriminating and due to a basketball game in town, there were not a lot of options available. Fortunately, for us, we found the Hampton Inn Clemson and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean and comfortable and less than 10 minutes from Clemson University. For the money, it was a bargain.

The staff here is so friendly - our front desk check-in and check-out was stellar - the housekeeping crew was very friendly as well as courteous - the breakfast lady, [...], was so helpful, polite, and friendly that we really felt at home

My experience was great. I got to the hotel late. The woman working the desk was very friendly and had everything ready for me to check in. My room was nice and it was clean and clearly had just been remodeled, including what looked to be a brand new bathroom. The only down side is that the hotel was near the railroad tracks. That was a little loud. But then again all the hotels in Clemson are within ear shot of the railroad tracks. The breakfast that was included with my room was nice. It even included a hot meal, which was much appreciated. All in all, It was a great trip.

A very good experience.

Great location, close to Clemson and plenty of dining options. Hotel appears to be old and is need of update. Extremely steep hill getting into and out of hotel. Many scrapes on hill due to cars hitting bottom. Bathroom needed paint and repairs.

Thank you for your review. The hotel as you noticed when you stayed is under going a major renovation. Lighting in rooms and bathroom will change as well as brand new 50 inch TV's in all rooms amongst many many other items. However in the midst of all of that the hotel is spotlessly clean. We appreciate you being our guest.

Thank you very much for your review! I am very sorry about the door. All guest rooms will receive brand new doors within the next month or so. That will take care of that issue. Thank you for being our guest!
