Nice hotel! Well maintained and tidy - staff always very polite and courteous. Breakfast choice is good and there is a liquor shop up the hill where you can buy alcohol and bring it back to the hotel to drink.

We stayed in the Toledo Hotel at both the beginning and end of our Jordan trip, and found it an excellent base to operate from. When we are touring a region (as opposed to staying in a resort), what matters to us is that the hotel is clean, secure and offers friendly, fuss-free services and facilities. The Toledo ticked all these boxes. The rooms are clean, comfortable and functional, with good free Wifi throughout (something that isn't always a given elsewhere in the country). Staff are pleasant and helpful, and speak good English. The breakfast buffet is generous and offers a reasonable selection, including traditional Jordanian options as well as more 'Western' alternatives. There is also an evening buffet - which we didn't try - but note that no alcohol is served on the premises. There is a business centre, but the computer is superannuated, so take this into account if you need to print out boarding passes. The facilities in the local area are great. Just up the road (turning left as you exit the hotel), there is a 'hole in the wall' bottle store which sells alcohol and further on, there is a good supermarket within 10 minutes walk, where you can stock up on provisions (turn right at the pet shop and walk up the hill). Just past the supermarket, there is what looks to be quite a glitzy shopping centre (although we didn't have time to explore inside). Just before you get to the supermarket, you'll find the excellent and unbelievably affordable Ghaith restaurant (it's easy to find, so ask the helpful hotel reception staff for directions). This caters for a local Jordanian clientele - so be prepared to do some pointing on the menu - but the food is fabulous and well worth the effort (don't miss their scrumptious 'chicken sandwich').

Good place to stay, well equipped, and in good location.Staff very helpful and keen to look after guests. You can stay in touch too with excellent WiFi too. Within easy reach of the Citadel and Abdullah Mosque too.

The first thing I noticed was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They listened and responded as necessary to questions and concerns. The room was in good condition with only minor repairs needed. The food was very good with a great variety of items from which to choose.

I stayed here for 3 days and could say is a good hotel with all the amenities. Rooms are spacious and is located very near to the downtown market place. You can hop on a taxi in just 2JD or less depending on the time and can visit the best market place in Amman for local stuff. Hotel don’t provide any complimentary water bottles which was a little unexpected otherwise it’s a fine one and pocket friendly. Buffet breakfast is ok as not many options to explore and almost same dishes everyday. Need to improve on service which is very basic especially during dining

I stayed here for a week while doing a work project that took me all over Amman. It was my first time in the Middle East and I speak no Arabic so I was a little nervous. The staff at the Toledo made me feel instantly comfortable. The rooms are clean, the service is great, breakfast is nice as is the dinner buffet. I used the airport pickup which was very reasonable (40 JD round trip) and I also used their laundry service which was very good and inexpensive. The front desk folks were always available to give directions and transcribe addresses into Arabic. And everyone I met there was lovely! I will definitely return the next time I’m in Amman! Sukran!!

The hotel has nice room, friendly personel, good food by dinner and breakfast. The room was clean and the roomservice was good. The location place of the hotel was good I would recommend the hotel to friends and family if they want to make a trip to Jordan TIP: Keep it like this

We stayed here at the Toledo Amman hotel for a few nights with my family. The price we paid was great value for money. The gentleman at the counter upgraded our room for absolute free and gave us one of the executive suite. Parking is available outside the hotel. The hotel is exceptionally clean and modern, with different themes around the hotel. The dining area is very traditional decorated with spoilt for choice buffet breakfast including fresh orange juice. Me and my family had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone reading this review. You definitely won’t be disappointed. The staff are very friendly and are always smiling. Good location in the capital city of Jordan. Once again, thank you!

We stayed here at the start and end of our brief tour of Jordan and were very impressed with the hotel. The decor is arabic but simple. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our room(s) were lovely; super clean, comfy beds, spacious with all mod cons. The breakfast buffet was superb and led to us trying the evening buffet one night which was also really good - great value with lots of choice. Good location with a short walk to a shopping centre and a downhill walk to the sights (bit harder on the way back) in the city centre.

Toledo is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Check in was smooth. The room had a good city view and was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. The person at the recreation provided us with a map of the area and helped us to organize our evening very well. It was pleasant to walk around the hotel area too and to sit in the sun in the porch outside in the morning.
