Le Royal is a large, comfortable, modern Hotel in central Amman. Given its height and location, the views from most of the rooms are superb; and from the outside, the structure is imposing, and strikingly lit-up at night. I was in Amman for a business trip, arriving in the early hours. The staff were efficient and welcoming from the outset. There's a nice coffee and drinks area in the downstairs atrium. There are a number of restaurants (Italian, Lebanese, Asian, Steakhouse), but not all of them were open during my stay, which was disappointing. Breakfast included a huge range of european, middle eastern and international foods - something for every taste. But, of course, there was no pork, so "bacon" and sausages were beef. Prices at the food outlets were not cheap, but on arrival I was given a 25% discount card to set against the cost of a range of hotel amenities including food. The card told the guest to present it at check-out. So when I checked out, I presented it, and was told I should have presented it at each venue, rather than when checking out of the hotel. The reception staff said there was nothing they could do to honour the discount. As I was in a hurry to get to the airport, I did not have time to argue. But it spoiled an otherwise pleasant experience
The Hotel lobby is huge and easy to see a lot ,we love the warm welcoming with Arabian coffee after check in a nice lady escorted us to the room and provided us with full information about the hotel facilitates and how to use internet connection with high speed internet free of charge which is really propositional touch. We had our breakfast at 7th floor it was excellent with a lot of variety. one point to highlight always request a room with outside view it was amazing .
I have stayed here many times in the past and have always enjoyed the hospitality, accommodation and the food. It was a familiar feeling going back after a few years was glad to find almost everything as I had expected except for the fact that the rooms really needed maintenance, they looked dated and the air conditioner was noisy to the extent of being annoying. Would like to go back again atleast once to see if they have done anything to improve that. The hospitality was at its usual best, the breakfast spread was sumptuous and the waiting staff was very friendly. Last but not the least- the location is very convenient.
This was my second stay at Le Royal Hotel Amman, every one on the staff are great, i ask for iron & iron board with in minutes of calling guest service center, one guy show up to my room from housekeeping, with the iron & he was polite to offer me night service & provide me with chocolate with the weather forecast, this service was not in my expectation.
I booked a group of 30 for 5 days in the hotel for world's strongest man Truck pull championship, LeRoyal management and staff were very helpful & accommodating; stood next to and supplied the teams need. Their manager Nael was very efficient as I was busy, we were mostly communicating thru watsap and whatever I need was met. The room are spacious, breakfast is good, room service never shy on their portion, concierge & transport team are swift. I couldn't be more thankful
Spend 2 days here on a business trip. Really commendable service with good facilities for comfortable stay with breakfast. Quite good location with easy access to shops and restaurants. Worth the stay.
The worst hotel experience of my life. I sledom write reviews, especially on hotels, because most of my stays are short, and all I care about is a bed to sleep in and a clean room. Where do I start with my story; first thing, I came to the hotel and there was a group of East Europeans infront of me, after we scanned our bags they all were welcomed through the main gate, and I was asked to go through the scanners !! When asking why is that I have to be searched and the people infront of me where let go, the security guard simply told me they are a foreign group!! Most racist thing I ever heard, so I have to be searched because I look middle Eastern, but if you have blue eyes you are safe and could cause no threat ???? Nevermind this racist welcome, going forward I checked in the hotel, and the hotel has more than 20 floors and over 500 rooms, from such a huge variety of floors and rooms, I was give a room with no window or balcony, it was like a basement, why that I don't know. Moreover, the bathroom bidet was not working and it was filled with dirt water, I was too tired to ask for a fix and only wanted to sleep. Now to the real stroy, after this unfortunate experience, I said I'll just sleep and forget that hell I went through, but no, Le Royal can't stop surprising you, at 9 Am, my door bill kept ringing and I started hearing from a bang on the door. I felt I was dreaming, but the sounds were real, I woke from the middle of my sleep, to open the door and found the housekeeping staring at me..... I was shocked, asking him what business brings him?? his response was that asked wants to know if I plan to extend my visit or leave today!!!! I've stayed in places that were less than a star, I stayed in motels, in cheap B&Bs, I've been to many hotels in my life, from the most extravagant to the most horrendous, I've never experienced something like this. Housekeeping wakes you up at 9Am asking if you are planning to extend your stay, or checkout today, and why is he asking this??? Because he wishes to clean the room at 12 if I'm leaving, it was unreal. As such, I've complained about this to the reception when checking out expecting to cause a fuss, but all I got was a simple sorry. Finally, waiting to get my car from the Vallet, I gave the Vallet 1 JD when he brought my car, he looked at the money and asked me if I have a room !! I asked him why are you asking this? He told if you don't have a room we take 2 JDs parking service!!!!! I would not enter this hotel again in my life, worst experience ever and not recommended at all.
Was close to everything great hotel. Breakfast at the hotel is very nice . I was not he 15 floor and the view over Amman is unbelievable . You don't feel bored at this hotel there is so many things to do and many restaurants to try myself I love bodda restaurant was a little bit expensive but worth it . All in all is just Great
The security in the hotel is very good , the bed is not comfortable at all i stayed for 3 nights. I asked them to change it they came they cheked it and told us the manager want to change all the beds . Ok !? What can i do now for the rest of my vacation ? It was someone with us who played on the piano in the lobby some one came and asked him to stop because someone in the room called the reception . (The noise from the people who was in the lobby is much louder from the piano sound ) We wanted to drink coffe at 23:30 they told us they are closed . If you want ask the room service when we called them they told us they cant bring the coffee to the lobby , after 30-45 min somebody else came and order a coffee they gave him . The swimming pool and the jaccuzi is amazing
