Larsa Hotel is a good hotel if you are on a certain budget. The rooms are spacious and comfortable...but the interiors, draping and decor are a bit outdated and could use a refresh. The buffet breakfast is ok as well. Cab ride to downtown is about JOD 5. It is good value for a quick 2 night stay.
The staff here were very helpful and the hotel was charming. The rooms open into a covered courtyard and look like the photos. Breakfast was a very nice traditional Jordanian meal. There was plenty on offer. A highlight for us was the freshly made flat bread which was prepared in the courtyard and delivered from the oven directly to our table. The restaurant prices were reasonable and the food was good too. I give this property 4* because of its location and bathroom toiletries. The location was good - in that it's in a quiet neighborhood, but this meant that to get a taxi you need to walk a couple blocks to the main road. There isn't much available within walking distance of the hotel, which was a drawback for us since we went everywhere by taxi. For the bathrooms, the only toiletry they offered was liquid gel soap from a dispenser. That said, the bathroom was very clean. Overall, it was a very good stay. We would recommend it for other travelers who are looking for a comfortable, clean, and affordable hotel in Amman.
Best place to stay in Amman... friendly crew...very helpful...had memorable moments Areas need to focus: ============== Breakfast with lot more options (considering Indian guests) Non-smoking rooms with complete smoke-proof
i stayed here for nearly three weeks on a business trip. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are spacious, clean and reasonably well furnished in hotel style, and the wifi in my room and public spaces was fast and reliable. There is a lounge area, a cafe and a restaurant. The lounge area is very comfortable and quiet. It is possible to get food and drink there if you ask at the reception desk. Breakfast is good, particularly the unlevened bread which seemed to get better every day. The man who makes it, like everyone in the hotel, is very friendly, and makes the hotel feel as much like home as a hotel can. I am not good at remembering names, but the hotel staff are! The location is convenient for businesses around the eighth circle, but it takes only 15 minutes to get downtown, say to Rainbow Street, and there are plenty of good restaurants a short taxi ride away. To sum up - I am looking forward to returning for another visit in the New Year.
I stayed here for 3 days , this is am excellent hotel with superb breakfast, and very professional and cooperatives staff, with clean rooms tidy corridors, washrooms are clean, they serve nice breakfast specially the fallafal
nice hotel around 30mins out of town. taxi into town cost around 3JD. very quiet and clean. bathroom could do with updating. breakfast had a great selection and security it fantastic. its around an hour from the airport and taxis from the airport cost around 20JD.
Great place to stay .. good peaople and great breakfast.. but its a little bjt far way from the downtown .. uber will help you 🙈 the inside of the hotel is very beautiful. free wifi and free rides to city mall,Meka mall and more few places.. the prices are good
We booked a tour service & were supposed to stay at another hotel. The change to Larsa Hotel was made a day before our arrival . The reviews were average & it was a matter of just one night, so my friend & I decided to stay at this place. The room was neat & clean and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was OK. Unfortunately, tourists smoke in all places inside the hotel including the reception and the entire hotel was smelling of cigarettes. This created a bad first impression. Toothpaste & toothbrushes aren't provided in the rooms. The bathroom fittings are not the most modern. I was definitely not impressed with this hotel.
Well worth considering especially if staying more than 1 night. Great room - must have been an unexpected upgrade. Breakfast has good choice of local and international food. Staff helpful and speak English. Located further out but access to centre is good by taxi. Wi-Fi is free but keeps dropping out. Local mosque wakes you at 4am but you soon get used it and it doesn't last long!
On a quick stop over in Amman;someone suggested to stay the night at this so called hotel. It was terrible for the following reasons. Bed sheets were not clean and are from man made fibers (polyester ) The pillows were hard and when requested to change them the answer was yes ok we will. .. but nothing happened and no fresh pillows arrived. The bath room had no aminities at all not even a bar of soap ..and two small towels only. The Aircondition was so noisy that we had to shut it and accept the noise comming outside traffic from the open window . The offer to get a fruit platter was not a complementary one ;but against a price.. even the water bottles were not free. Staff were not professional enough to give the good and quality service, full of plastic smiles and not sincere in their comments. Security cameras are everywhere. . They are overdoing it with such coverage of security cameras everywhere... not nice at all. The price is not worth the money paid ,this hotel might be accepted by those who need a cheap dump but in general it did not rise to our expectations and with minimum sleep we had to leave very early to catch our flight tired and deprived of much needed sleep. Not recommended.
